i tried to be member.. i saw , there is adress info on witdrawal section.. this is not good for bitcointalk gamblers
You may not know this, but there are many casinos on the market today that don't yet require any personal information from their players. Or at least, they ask for identification only when withdrawing large sums of money. This means that you still have a lot of choices, but if you decide to play with Roobet, you will have to comply with KYC procedures. It is important to know, however, that Level 1 KYC is usually sufficient, which means only basic personal information is required.
stake and sportsbet io dont want kyc..  i witdrawal 25.000 dollar on stake and sportsbet  without kyc 1 or kyc 2 ...

there bookies are not good than stake , sportsbet
25k dollars? That's a big sum. It's surprising that both sites don't requires you to do a kyc before you withdraw this amount. You also said that both sites are much better in terms of bookies so why not stick on them? Why you are still here complaining? Don't tell me you are shilling the two site? Hhmm.. but no need actually since the two are already big and I think they are much bigger than this casino here, roobet but whether you liked it or not, there will always be players that will prefer to play on roobet for some reasons. Kyc is not enough to stop gamblers from playing on a certain gambling site. You should keep that in mind.

That amount is not required for KYC since if he is using crypto to deposit and play. KYC is only required for fiat deposit and withdrawal if you are pertaining to Anti Money Laundering policy on every casino T&C. Roobet implements mandatory KYC to there customers nowadays. This might be the case on how he was required to KYC but other casino that he mention didn't requires it except if your account is subjected to audit due to some violation.

For example, Roobet.io is listed as one of sites to have purchased a non-distributable copy of the previous version of bustabit's source code. I believe they wanted to say roobet.com

Perhaps the .io ccTLD, was owned by Roobet, after all?

If we see Roobet.com Creative Competition | .15 BTC in prizes! thread, the .io domain is mentioned by a few people.

I tried looking around the site, but couldn't find any information about a domain that is legitimately owned by Roobet.
Based on my observation, currently it seems the other domain that they have is:

https://roobet.gg
https://roobet.ca

Those domains including .com are registered using Namecheap.

I don't think so. According to web.archive.org, the roobet(.)io domain has been parked before, previously, back in 2020, on GoDaddy, and now on park.io, and appears to have never contained any website or been redirected to main domain. Although some contestants mention the .io domain in that thread, it was never mentioned by absolutely-positioned or anyone official from Roobet's side.

I tried looking around the site, but couldn't find any information about a domain that is legitimately owned by Roobet.

Yes, it seems so. Both of these domains are redirected to the main .com domain.

Well Roobet is not like Stake and Sportsbet. Their different casino so it should be understandable to your part that there will be some variations.
If you do not want to fill any KYC, regardless of the level, then do not play on the site. It's your choice after all. If you want to discuss more of it, I guess you can talk with their representative or on their chat support.

My purpose is not to argue. staking and sportsbet are the best in this market. everybody knows that too. why would people give kyc..

Unfortunately, I will not be able to talk with the roobet customer representative. because i will not leave staking and sportbet

You should not post here about different Casino if you really don’t want to argue. This thread is announment thread of Roobet and posting such negative comments will surely attract Roobet user and supporters to pick up on your comment. Casino has different policy for AML, Roobet is surely has a strong legal reason for doing such thing because they will not hurt themselves by implementing KYC if they can freely operate without requiring it.

They are not forcing anyone to play in the casino. We have a choice to paly and accept there KYC terms or simply just ignore playing on it.

Added bonus is that they are not asking you for your mother's maiden name, it is just generic stuff that doesn't matter. plus, if you are planning on winning 250k, you could literally fly to Vegas with that kind of money and gamble it legit and have fun meanwhile, or you could go to Cyprus or Monaco, or Macau, wherever is closest to you.

All I am saying is that, people who are looking for big payouts, likes of which I would never imagine, they couldn't care any less about KYC. If I ever get lucky enough that I would get a ton of money like that from a small bet I make, then I would be throwing my ID at the screen let alone doubt if I should do it or not.

This is true, but they shouldn't advertise themselves as a fully anonymous casino at the same time which is completely false advertising in my opinion. They should advertise themselves as a minimal KYC crypto casino instead.

Gamblers don't like being lied to especially since they are risking their funds which is why they appreciate casinos that are transparent.

Is that even matters? everytime a new player register an account, they will need to check the tickbox for the T&S therefore its pretty much their own fault for not reading the terms. You will be asked to fill in level 1 KYC right off the bat so if a player doesnt want to risk any of his identity then he can simply choose not to play in Roobet, its as simple as that though

This is why many still play on Roobet because it seems more effective for them and giving out your basic information is fine especially if you got a big win and many are willing to fill out the KYC form. Even on Vegas they will ask you for your personal information especially if you are going for a membership with them, they even require your passport so I see no difference with this one.

Yes, it seems so. Both of these domains are redirected to the main .com domain.
As long as there is no official confirmation from an official representative then we should assume those domains are not owned by Roobet even if they redirect to the official website. Users should be careful and don't trust any service that may be offered by any one of them.

To be honest, I don't remember seeing or reading about Roobet advertising themselves as a fully anonymous casino. Maybe I missed that part!

This is a case to case basis, Roobet did a great job on attracting gamblers with their bonuses and free the KYC for almost two years but after that, they surprisingly asked for a level 1 KYC and this has been the issue since they asked for this information. This might be good to some but again, it kills the purpose of anonymity but it looks like it way beyond our control, and there’s no more choice but to comply especially if you really want to gamble in a site that requires KYC.

Roobet.gg was indeed the official domain, they switch to .com. The problem is, if they didn't maintain the domain again, in future cases, the domain might be taken over by someone to do malicious things.

Code: (whois roobet.gg)
Domain:
     roobet.gg

Domain Status:
     Active
     Transfer Prohibited by Registrar

Registrar:

Registration status:
     Registered until cancelled

Incase it wasn't obvious, we switched domains from .gg to .com Smiley

the .cc domain was officially informed by Roobet. If you open up the site using Canada IPs, there will be a pop-out which informs that those users will be migrated to use that domain.

Additionally, Roobet will fully comply with the regulation standard over there:

I remember reading this advice on this forum that never click on search results right away, instead manually check that you’re on the correct site or save a book mark and in this case I would advise all to save a book mark to the official site. Furthermore if those aren’t Roobet domains then they can file a DCMA complaint, and have those domains deleted from the search engines and while the process will take time but at least their user’s will be protected.

Customer service on the website is one click away. You will surely get a fast and better response if you communicate it that way, have you done that? and what is their response.

If you mean 1xbit, saying Roobet is similar to the renowned scam site is a pretty strong accusation, but sadly, the only evidence you give is not comparable to that site.

Due to an internal issue, the wagers were refunded to your account. This was the decision of the sports provider that we will be standing by and it will not be reconsidered. Sorry for the inconvenience here Segooo!

It's always sad for me to hear the potential bets you should've won are voided, though. Been there, done that.

Unfortunately, it seems there is nothing you can do about that. As far as I concern, there is only one similar voided bet issue about sports bookie in this thread. Judging by the customer service response, that's that, you might want to readdress what exactly the technical issue was for the information of the reasoning for your concern.

On another side, there is a relevant reference of terms of service that you've agreed on regarding the issue:

Refund over a Technical Problem with a Bet

If there is any game-changing technical issue or bug from our or our third-party partner's side on our website regarding any of the gambling services, disregarding if a game of chance, a game of skill, or a game of risk is affected, we will refund you the initial bet. The Roobet Support team will ensure your Roobido-Safe is in the same state as it was before the bet, which was affected by a game-changing technical issue or bug. The Roobet Support team will refund 100% of the corrupted bet, ensuring you did not lose anything due to a technical failure from our side. This applies to all of our games of chance, games of skill, games of risk, as well as our third-party partner's games of chance, Sportsbet's, Esportsbet’s, games of skill, and games of risk, as long as we can detect a technical issue, bug, or male function which causes the game to be damaged or broken. Any bug, technical issue, or malfunction which does not affect the gambling service or is not game-changing cannot be refunded. Solely cosmetical bugs, technical issues, or malfunctions will not be refunded. You acknowledge the company and its third-party partners are only liable for any game-changing issue, bug, or technical failure. You recognize the company and its third-party partners are not liable for any issue, bug, or technical failure which is only cosmetical nature or not game-changing. You acknowledge the company may decide on their and their third-party partner's behalf, at their sole discretion, in good faith which issues, bugs, and technical failures are game-changing and which are not.

When a sports provider makes sure that you get your money back and it's voided, it tells me that the problem wasn't with the person (gambler) or the casino, the problem was with the bet and it shouldn't have been available in the first place. This is rarely abused because of one reason, if casinos and providers start abusing this too much, they are going to end up regretting it since everyone will leave them.

You cannot just keep on voiding bets forever; you would be out of a job and that is why they rarely use this on things that should 100% certainly be voided. This tells me that even though the gambler did nothing wrong, it was just a bad bet and everyone should move on, would probably not happen again.
