Yes, on registered emails you’ll get a lot and I can say its pretty more safe than to click any link in twitter. I’m a victim of the fake page before and luckily I don’t have funds on my previous wallet. I get them a ton, I get them all the time from this another website that sends daily mails. Which means that, spammers could try their multiple times a day, and make me try to think that's the real one and I would be forced to click eventually one day.

I can tell you that Google might not be in control of ads displayed on their site, there are services that are responsible for distributing those ads, googles job is to help make it visible to the targeted audience.
