I'm sure the people who participate in this contest are great people and have the ability to make good and cool art, I usually see artwork from this contest a lot and Roobet always has ideas for holding art contests in this forum.  

The main thing is participating in these contests not about whether you will win or not because we are submitting art on our behalf and capabilities but don't know whether team likes it or not.But best part is team organising these theme based contest with high rewards for artists and motivate healthy competition among them.If you are interested there are lot of categories and you can just join it in a fun manner.

The art contest is a great and unique way Roobet have chosen to market themselves, so it is not entire a waste to the team whether the team like the arts produced or not,  and I would also say that there are seasons when they may also benefit from the contest much more, than the supposed high reward they are giving out to participants..
There are so many ways the casino benefit from the contest, and two of those ways is that...

1. It's a great way they get their community members together to have an exciting time doing something really fun and outside gambling.
2. The art contest is another good promotion for Roobet, and participants and creating arts and posting, so is the gospel of Roobet spreading, I actually learnt about Roobet through the art contest, even before I noticed their signature ad on this forum.

Participating in every contest is definitely a matter of pride, because we express and express all the ideas we have in the form of art. I'm sure everyone has an idea, but not everyone has the courage to express it and participate in the contest.
Here, Roobet is a place for creative people to be able to express all their expressions here. And what's even more interesting is that they will surely be enthusiastic because there will be prizes waiting for them if their work is determined to be the best of the best by the jury.

Exactly. It's not only about the prizes in the art contest, and the fame here on this forum. It's bigger. That's what I'm trying to tell people I know who can actually create something worthy. They listen and they agree, but they never create. You have to put your time and your hard work in,  and it's not as easy as it might seem. I admire people who participate in the Roobet Art Contest, and I wish all of them the best in the future.

I feel like that's mainly because most artists feel shame if they ever do something that is not beautiful, and they fear a lot what would other people say about it. So, let's say you are a designer who will design something for roobet, what if you aren't picked? How could you say that it would be a good thing or a bad thing? I feel like that's not going to happen that easily.

This is why I keep saying that the best thing to do in this case is to figure out a way to get out of this pit they put themselves into and just do it. Why do you think nike has the slogan "just do it"? It's not about being first, it's about being in the race, because then you already passed so many people and that's why it matters so much. I personally hope people can see that.

See participation is good in these contests but it doesn't mean if we don't have any artistic skills at all we submit an entry for fun because contest have some requirements also and standards.If you are genuinely submitting something and in learning phase it's not a problem but if we just draw something without any base and creativity it won't help us a lot so it's good not to participate in that case.

Participation is free for all whether you do have the skills or not, whether you would be submitting for the sake of being competitive or winning the price or just simply just trying out to have some fun on included on the bandwagon. Its not really just that right on making up some discouragement just because someone couldnt really make some good art whether which category would be belong in.

We cant really deny the fact that there are people who are born to be talented but those skills werent be totally be on point but rather still having that kind of practice time and try out which these people
might be still starting up on the pursued career that they might be taking and also joining up competitions doesnt have any restriction on doing so.

If you do feel that you do want to participate then just do it but of course dont make yourself anticipate that you would be chosen because the fact or reality where the best of the best would be chosen.
You wouldnt be so dumb not to see in comparing your art with another artist which does have way more better.

Art contest usually lasts for 1 month that is long enough to make research, spend time to draft your idea, trials with some ideas and pick your final idea for your art. To be chosen as one of winners, your art must be beautiful in art style, match with the casino style and the contest requirements, better than other participants.

Let us not forget the logo of Roobet needs to be displayed on it somewhere. First this will prove its genuine artwork made specially for the contest that you are entering and secondly you should sign the art, may be put a unique mark of your username or something that will give more authenticity as compared to just sharing from hosted image site. That is even better for proving the ownership. When it’s digital art it’s even easier to put a sign digitally. For physicals it’s better to have mini boards around the artwork. And for even miniature artworks like mine in the pencil carving have some place to keep the sign on. Difficult but worth proving ownership game.

This is just to help those users who are questioning the entries of participants, but I think this won't affect the judgement.

You are not pick as a winner but it does not mean your creations are ugly, it's just there are other entries who stand out a little. It's a good thing actually to challenge your self and try harder next time.

Besides, there are still consolation prizes that we can get if we are among the top 3, 5 or 10. I don't know if Nike intends to motivate the people but it was still a nice phrase even it it's not intentional. It reminds us to stop making excuses but just to do whatever we have in mind except only the bad ones of course.

I believe a designer that is competent can acknowledge his short coming.  He will treat joining in a contest and losing as another good experience.  I don't agree that most artist feel shame if ever they lost.  If that's the case then we won't be seeing same artist participating in the future events.   

A good artist will always find failure a ground for self discovering and a new learning.  They take the losses to improve oneself and try again in the future.

One thing I believe is that, no body woke up one morning and became a great artist, every artist celebrated today had their learning period and in those, they created alot of art that got rejected by the public, rejection is actually a good thing for those who like to see even negative things from its positive angle, rejection is a source of motivation(though in disguise) which pushed the serious into doing more.
One should never be ashamed of being rejected, for fear of failure most times is the real cause of failure itself.

Well a true artist is never disappointed with his art. Sometimes it is the judge or peeps around us who are not able to identify the intensity of art and artist when they make it. It may happen that a particular person may not understand some Arts thus putting his mindset to the next one and that art could be bad in comparison to the master piece but just because a judge or viewer failed to understand affection behind it.

You can not force someone to like your art and true artists understand that this is the way for them. If everyone would have understood the Arts then world would have been a painted canvas already.

If lost then just kee trying.

There's always that someone whose better than you and this is why it is really just right that you should really be making yourself that open minded or being that sportmaship type of person on which in every
competition or whatever you would really be dealing then you cant really assure about being the winner or would really be chosen. Artist would definitely be appreciating others works if they do saw that it is something that really worth to be recognized.
About those people who do talk abouts negative and trying out to complain on why they havent been selected nor chosen then just let them be. They dont really just know the essence of real competition.
They would really be throwing up blames and some assumptions that fairness is questionable or something that do talks about being bias.
There are people who are really just like that and its better to ignore those.

What you say is true, because the time constraints are getting shorter making everyone who takes part in the contest prioritize the completion of their work to make it even better.
And in making a good work of art requires a lot of time, the slightest mistake can affect judgment.

People just reserve their post in the initial days and then keep working little bit on their artworks with their creative skills and yes many of them submit it in the last 3-4 days to avoid showing others what they have come up so it remain unique although you can't copy someone else submission but still they keep it for end or say work more towards it in the last weeks.
