Amusingly, the noise level did not change much.
In quite mode, the noise happens because of the PSU firmware. We're working towards a fix with Emerson. Getting much better results with other vendor and the same vendor different model.

All the early buyers who are getting their units.
If you need support or having technical difficulties enabling the miner you can mail me directly to zvi@spondoolies-tech.com.
Just write as subj "miner enablement support" so I know what it's about.
Will do my best to help.

Questions that anyone can benefit from can go here of course.

wait... wait...

I can't handle all this calm talk about delivery and help from the company... A company that actually developed a working product then showed it off...

I don't think I can handle this at all.....  this is too much change from the  drama of the other unamed companies and what we are used to Smiley

way to go spoondl !!!

Ouch guys, I was finally ready to pull the trigger on the SP10 pair, but I can't justify the $800 shipping cost. It would have been better if you'd priced the set at $8499 with $300 shipping. Too big a sticker shock for me, I ended up just letting the order expire.

These Israeli  guys are very smart. If they are also greed, we all lose in this game. We just take all risks for them!

Fast shipment of 2 X 14KG is expensive.
We'll be happy to ship Ex-Works and charge only for the miners, not the shipping.

Do you mean to QUOTE "Ex-Works"...which is "price without shipment"...price at your factory...correct...?

Yes. Arrange the shipment yourself from our DC after one day burning-in test, or from the factory after Flextronics QMS tests

A combination of reasonable hosting and self shipping after a period just might work.

Why do you charge the same price for a early April unit as a May unit?

shipping cost wont change. If $800 to ship a $4000 device now seems high, why would you want to pay $800 to ship a ~$2000 device in 2 months time?

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

The objective is to get the machine up and running ASAP, what could it be 1 or 2 or 3 days to generate coin to cover the cost of freight?

Just checked most shipping options quickly

1. FedEx 2 day service is indeed 800 dollars, no slower service offered than that

2. UPS does have slower service, cheapest is 7 day delivery for 600 dollars

3. Israel Post Office Air Mail cheaper at 300 dollars but no indication how long, (guess 2 weeks?)

Do the math, get it immediately and start mining, or save a few scrap dollars up front and lose 2 weeks worth of mining.

On average, without power costs, 1.4 TH/s should make ~64$ per day.
