Ethereum is a good project with lots of awesome usecases if no the best cryptocurrency projects out there. It's Usecases gave birth to a new revolution of blockchain technology making it available to even the common people. With ethereum smart contracts and DApps infrastructure, even a person with little know-how of blockchain technology would be able to utilize the tech. With time i believe ethereum as a project can achieve impressive and great success but not any time soon.

I have nothing to expect that new altcoin to kick out ETH in the 1st place among altcoins.
XRP did that last year ( I can't remember what particular month it happens) but it was just of short happenings and it turns back again into the 2nd place. But in today's market performance, I don't see such kind of scenario since that ETH makes its way to maintain its momentum and keep on the race. If the market will be in the Bullrun, it for sure ETH will do. This thing may help to keep ETH stay on the top among others.

Doubt it. If you was around for what people called "The Flippening", Eth almost reached rank one and then crashed back down, so I would imagine the same thing would happen again. As for Ethereum itself being defeated in the future, I think it's possible one day since this space is still very young (maybe even bitcoin eventually too). But I think Ethereum and bitcoin are pretty safe bets for this year as rank 1 and 2 respectively.

It can sometimes be funny when it is assumed that Ethereum will just keep on growing these days. It got to a point, I told myself that predicting this coin's movement can be very difficult, which means it is unpredictable.
What would Bitcoin be doing, if Ethereum overtakes it and become number one? It is just quite impossible.
As at today, Ethereum and BSV almost fell within the same price range.

The price of ethereum can go up this year but becoming number one overcoming bitcoin is very difficult and need not be expected,and for me ethereum can maintain in second place it's good enough because all the altcoins in the crypto room are competitors.

I don't think it is necessary to think too far because seeing from the total ethereum supply that I think is very much while the few who use ethereum will make it difficult to increase prices because cryptocurrency price movements can occur when there are triggers of interaction between buyers and sellers at the exchange so from the interaction of buyers and sellers will have a good effect on cryptocurrency prices.

I would have loved to see ethereum bullish due to the fact that the coin is one of the crypto that is heavily utilized coupled with the fact that thousands of smart contract has been created on it but this usefulness seems not to reflect in the price because ETH price is invariably constant. exactly nothing there is a matter of opinion or personal, other than scammers in general being a personal thing for anyone who dislikes scammers in general. it doesn't matter what the centralized ethereum team randomly decides - nothing about centralized networks supply cap is certain nor any other rules, including future confiscations/censorship which are trivial on ethereum for the central premining party.

the ethereum design allows 1 party to control 72m of supply for free, so it doesn't matter what Ethereum team does or doesn't do, Ethereum was a failure from point they designed it in 2014 to be centrally premined and thus centrally controlled.

Centralized 72m eth = central control of incentives = central control of blockchains that are controlled by incentives = ethereum is centralized = lying about it makes it a scam, by definition.

It's a very long thing and i don't see that happening. The number 1 spot is sealed if not forever for more than 2-3 decades. The fact that ETH is doing well now doesn't mean it will be number 1. Although it's a good investment for short and long term trading .

maybe OP was just mistakenly put the wrong title,i think what he meant is "Number 1" or First Place in "altcoins" because understandingly Bitcoin cannot be take placed not in our days and also in the next generation from us.
