The only good part of this has been esports getting a lot more attention I suppose. People of all ages and races and nations have liked esports but it was still seen as a niche gambling part considering something as huge as soccer for example but even dwarfed by basketball and others, so esports basically got the top spot now thanks to all others being cancelled.
I think when we come out of this and all other sports come back with their league and all, they might actually keep some esports gamblers and not lose all of them back, which means even better for the future of esports gambling. More gamblers means more viewers, more viewers means more money and more money means better gaming as well, thats how it works and this corona crisis might help them get more money.

House gambling,  , me and my friends and families are playing poker, just to pass some time because we are already in a lock-down, curfews are implemented here. But the money involved is not that huge, it's only friendly games, instead of doing nothing. That is a fun way to pass time and it does sound like no monies are being won or lost, so no wagers. But yes, the only options for us is go online, dice, slots etc. That is the concern because we do not know much those people being affected by the lockdowns are actually betting. I hope the amounts being bet and the number of bets being placed will remain small otherwise one of the inadvertent side-effects of the coronavirus might be an increase in gambling related issues. |

Measures has been implemented and to think that there are players who got infected for sure the other sports categories will suspend until the virus will controlled but sadly we don't know on when this thing end up and for sure the sportsbook owners are feeling crazy to see this coming up.
Their chances to recover is much better because these athletes has a good immune system compare to other who are caught with this, I hope these athletes recover they have a career to get back, I've read one article that a football coach died from this virus but they found out he already has an underlying ailments and because of this, his immune system deteriorate. Not all is in good shape and you cannot tell that by just looking on their physical appearance since sometimes there are cases that a person looks healthy but inside they are dying thru complications brought by the the said disease but hopefully they can recover faster since for sure their medical team will help them up until they get recover from the virus. |

Now that almost all sporting events all over the world are cancelled, those wanting bet of sports events are left with having to find alternatives. What are the majority doing?
Are some giving up and trying to become reformed gamblers?
Quite close on givin' up though, and I am on my way to change especially if this would take any much longer. Because, man, I couldn't find any alternatives besides watching movies, killing time by sleeping more, and playing games got me fed up already bringing it online won't be good either as I don't have decent internet. Are some gambling on casinos instead?
Nah, everything here is closed except for hypermarkets, pharmacies. Even going outside, walking outdoors, and you don't have any business such as buying foods, and medicines isn't allowed. You'll be forced to go home. What are alternatives most sports betting users are now switching to?

Virtual betting is the closest alternative. I am a football betting fan but due to the fact that all leagues are postponed I am betting on virtual leagues. It is a good way to entertain myself and have a decent profit. |

What are your views on people sitting at home passing time including those that regularly place bets on sporting events but since they are all cancelled are having to find alternatives. Do you think they would be finding alternatives such as online casinos and how do you think their betting habits will change during the time they are self-isolating? This situation of virus spreading uncontrollably all don't want be exposed to corona, online casino is good enough for now and in future too be the best rather than having to bet on sports gambling that might not be sure to air cause of corona. True, there are no sports bets that can be played online when lockdown except horse racing. Online casino can be used as an alternative for some gamblers and there is no harm in trying new experiences in gambling because there are quite a number of other options if someone is looking for alternatives to sports betting. I am sure covid-19 has a bad impact on the world, but I also feel confident that no matter how bad the conditions that we and the people around us experience can still give us positive things like using this key to take a break from the fatigue of working and gathering with beloved family. |

I can understand your positive approach about the current outbreak of corona virus but how long we can stay within home and being confident about getting back to our routine life. I guess only inventing a vaccine will be restoring our life and when there will be a delay in finding such a vaccine then we might be facing more worst situation than what we are currently having. I do not want my life go worse than now and I want my routine life as early as possible so that everything will be fine as per my expectation. I missing almost everything including sportsbetting and visiting casinos. I agree we can enjoy with our family by taking break from machine-like life. Still we cannot be guaranteed for food if the situation continues like this. |

In short, Gambling is not effected by Corona virus but if you normally bets on matches, then you will not find much to bet these days. Other than this, gambling games like dice, poker etc have no effect and you can keep on playing them as long as you prefer to play online.
When I'm still gambling, I always bet on sports games only and I don't bet on card games or dice games so if I'm still gambling right now I'm also affected because I can't gamble since sports matches are cancelled already because of this stupid virus. However, if you are heavily gambling on card games like poker or the dice games etc. and you are gambling online then you are not that much affected with the coronavirus impact. I think the only impact that you will face is how can you deposit your funds into your gambling sites but it will be ok if you are gambling with crypto but if you are gambling in fiat and you don't have money in your card then it will be a problem a bit for you. Sports gambling right now is heavily affected by gambling since all of the sports games right now are cancelled due to this virus. I hope that this will be over after a few months. |

This way celebrities, sportsman, common man have got affected by corona virus. Most of the leagues have got postponed without the date being confirmed. Olympic games lighting was done and further the dates weren't decided. Upon the same, sports gambling has got decreased much compared to previous months.

All Esports games are postponed, most often PSL, LALIGA, EPL, UEFA, Bundesliga, Olympic are postponed/paused for an indefinite period, Where there is no game there is no question of gambling. Hopefully we will get rid of this situation very quickly and everything will be back to normal.

The coronavirus had already postponed sports events and its for good cause but lockdown is juts going to kill working class family. With nothing to eat, gambling is the last thing in mind for those smaller guys and getting a virus isn't their concern nor whatever happen to sports gambling. Its what food to put on their tables is going to matter this days and when desperation kicks, there will be killings.
