I used to gamble a decent amount in sports betting but since my favorite sport is suspended, I don't anymore risk big money in betting.
Of course there are a lot of alternative but I treat it differently, I just solely do it for pure fun with a very limited amount of money at risk, just to have fun while under self quarantine at this tough times.

Seems COVID-19 bring positive impact to us sports gamblers as we don't loss money now lol.

I know that we don't have the stats but i think there is an increase in the usage of online casinos around the world for sure. Dice and other casino games were not affected by this pandemic.

Right now, I am still betting on some of the rest of the esports tournaments.

Just the two of them, ESL Pro League Season 11 and WeSave! Charity Play. I will be taking advantage of the rest of the games since I might not be able to bet in the next month because of the canceled and delayed tournaments. When there are no games, I also play some online bets. Some of my family members also invite me to play some cards sometimes but we don't bet money but we do consequences if we lose. We are not allowed to go outside without a good reason so we are just in the house all day long.

For sure, when medicine and vaccine have been already invented to cure people who are infected by the virus. I used to bet on sports and mostly on football matches.
Now that all leagues are cancelled and I don't have other options to bet on, I am gambling on virtual sports. There are virtual football leagues with statistics of the teams and every 5 minutes a new game is played and I am gambling on the final results, score, or how many goals are going to be scored on the game. It is not very profitable but it is pretty entertaining.

If you are talking about online casinos, then probably. There are a lot of ways to feed some desires if you are addicted to it. I hope they are not gambling though (if someone is addicted)

Instead of betting in sports gambling, why can't we just donate our spare money? By that we can help our fellow citizen to overcome and protect themselves from the virus. Let's stop online casinos for now and let us enjoy our time with our families. Follow the government on implementing community quarantine to slow the spreading of the virus. Also be ready, alert, watch news everyday to know what's happening around the world. Instead of sports betting, just play sports using our gadgets, cellphones, PS4, computer, by that we can entertain ourselves and enjoy playing games while we are safe from the virus. Also you can play cards, with your family to strengthen more your relationship to each other.

The betting sites/companies would lose/miss out on a lot of money due to this corona virus pandemic, everything has been put to a stop, there is limited or even no games at all to bet on and customers would no longer lose money to them, so it's not just the gamblers who are in this alone, the betting sites are also without anything to do.

The "physical" betting shops are also hit hard, people have been advised to avoid crowded areas and stay at home, this shops in my locale have been closed down by the government looking to stop to spread of this virus. Gamblers should just keep their money, stay at home and pray we see the last positive case of this virus soon.

Since a lot of users here are staying at home due to the virus, we cannot gamble outside or go to casinos or even bet with sports since there's no sports event at all. But what I do for now is I focus on learning about trading rather than finding alternatives to gambling. But if you really want to gamble, you can go to online casinos. But if you're not into like that and you prefer sports betting, I think the best you can do as an alternative is e-sports betting. I don't know if it fits everyone's taste but that's one of the choices you have right now if you want to bet.

Except for sports betting, I do not think there is any other issue. Gamblers still can play other games available on these websites. Surely, there will be an impact on the revenue of these websites but, I am confident it is a temporary issue and in couple of months everything will be normal.

There is really a huge impact of the coronavirus to the sports gambling because of this COVID19 the different and many sports league has been cancelled just because of the very fast spreading of the virus so it really affects the sports gambling because no players and athletes has been ready to play because the virus has been the priority and also the players so that it becomes a huge impact to the sports gambling.

With all this issue surrounding coronavirus I wonder how much increasing betting will take place both from regular gamblers and those that nebver or occasionally place bets.

Having so much time for those under lockdown to access casinos and gaming sites on the internet will make some people suffer as they place bets while passing the time.

The majority stay at home so generally, they are in front of their computer screen and playing online casinos. Whose names are addicts and gambling there is always an alternative way to place a bet in gambling.

Before coronavirus spread out, we already gamble through online and we can do that on everywhere, as long as you have internet connection. Now some of countries have decided to lockdown their countries to prevent more people to get affected with this virus, and most of people have been get warned by goveement to stay at home and work from home. I'm an occasional sports(cricket) gambler. Since I don't see that any sports event is going to take place in the next month, I have started to play card games like Rummy, Poker, Blackjack etc. But the thing is with online Poker and Rummy you can't read your opponent and might end up losing  But I don't see an alternative to gambling.
