That is just really unfortunate but I do understand that. They can't just play and follow the new normal since there are other players that are still positive with the virus. I guess we might not really see the continuation of the season in 30 days. That would take them weeks to quarantine and they can't just play after that since as far as I know there will be a follow up test to that.

I'd rather stick to eSports temporarily than let the players expose themselves to further risks. We already have a few infected players according to others here in the thread, and opening the NBA season just invites more of such events to happen imo. Plus, let's not forget how there are cases where people are asymptomatic (shows no symptoms) and can be very dangerous, especially with close contact games such as Basketball. If they were to test themselves, then there's a chance that could be avoided but that doesn't say that the chances are zero though.

Precautionary measures would be to stop the protests. Or at least, think of an alternative where they don't actively seek for their deaths like what they are doing right now. I think all the matches are treated like that because we don't want the spread to continue and we as big sports fans will certainly take advantage of virtual online as they watch the game. I think this will become a habit if we continue.

Many of the establishments opened right now with the implementation of social distancing when entering. But I guess it is still not safe unless your country is a COVID-free already and have a vaccine. It's better to bet on online casinos and just stay at home and watch movies on Netflix. That would be a disaster. People are actually having a hard time to survive the first wave, how much more if we will be having the second wave. Some people thought that what we have right now is the second wave but as far as I know, we are still in the first wave, that is why I hope 2nd wave doesn't happen anymore. Agree, those who will participate in any sports event should be tracked and prohibits going to any places that have a lot of confirmed cases.

It's a hard process, after the sports tournament, they should be monitored for 1 week or more so if they become positive on COVID-19, there will be a fast action and to those who got contact with the person.
Mass testing should be implemented to all of those people who're involved in the event which are athletes, staff, and many more.
