Here, even playing basketball as a hobby is forbidden, even just jogging will stop you. The impact of this virus is very serious, impactful and disruptive to what we want to do. No one knows how long it will last. Maybe the players are bored because they can't do what they want. What do they care about now?

What is your opinion is it worth betting or not? I think to try, but I doubt it.

I guess your government is just making the right measure, big punishment should be impose so these violators will think many times before they break the law under quarantine or the lockdown implementation. Gambling should not be allowed from the very begging as this will  attract crowd and no social distancing for gamblers, I think wearing a mask is not even their thing.

The proposal that I read online is they will play without fans, and that I think is the best strategy for now, and with that we can again gamble on sports.

Exactly. Many peoples nowadays have been so lonely and sad because there are no sports event. They didn't all just because of tge fact that they didn't able to watch or support their favorite team but most of it become sad because of gambling. Sports event has a lot or strong connection when it comes to gambling. Many people made their bet on their teams that they believe will win in the finals of different sports. It either baskteball, volleyball, soccer, billiardand etc. Many people believe that sports aren't gonna be more exciting if there are no bettings on their teams. So they allowed to have bet in sports event.

Yet we all know the pandenic we are facing today. It is true that this pandemic is so serious and dangerous and comes to affect everything including sports games. Well, we cannot say that even if there is a law, people will not violate, it's a human nature, there are some law violators, but like I said, a strict law would minimize the number of violators, once you are out, you will be at risk and you could be a risk to others.

Well, we cannot say that even if there is a law, people will not violate, it's a human nature, there are some law violators, but like I said, a strict law would minimize the number of violators, once you are out, you will be at risk and you could be a risk to others.

You are right even if there is a law that is strictly imposed, people are hard headed in nature they will do what they wanted to do even if their life is at risk given that if they go outside their houses, the corona virus is everywhere and we couldn't even see or know if the one we are sitting beside from a public vehicle is infected or if one of the customers inside the grocery who came across beside us is also positive. So for our safety we should abide the law and don't go outside if it is not necessary to prevent the spreading of virus.

The gamblers will find out where they can still gamble. With the internet connection available in many places and with their mobile phone, I am sure they will found one or more gambling website, whether it's a crypto gambling website or fiat gambling website. Some gamblers already gamble on the online gambling website because I saw that many advertisements on many websites that offer people to visit on that site. So I guess it is easy for the gamblers to still playing gambling on the internet

@JollyGood currently there’re no live sports on the television, but very soon we shall watch Bundesliga live in action and all though it’ll be really weird to watch those matches without the fans in the stadium, but something is better than nothing right?. Also I had shared a thread out here on how people had switched from sports gambling to betting on marbles, and you’re right too as various news outlets have reported that gambling has only increased during the covid19 phase.

I stop gambling during this pandemic. I chose to save the money for future use specially the lockdown in my country was extended for 2 more weeks, and its been 2 months since the lockdown was imposed. Online gambling was really the hit now. Some of my friends are into CS GO and DOTA 2 betting. I'm into those games that's why I'm reading opinions from the threads about the game too.

Gamblers in my place chose to gamble using cards while in lockdown. They aren't that informed about online gambling. They are much familiar with mahjong and tongits. They use it as a time consuming activity while in lockdown. Kind of a win solution for them while casino's are not in operation. Instead of work from home, they gamble at home.
