A funny incident occurred in the football championship of my country: one of the teams was quarantined because infected players were found. The match was not canceled, and as a result, one team played with full professional staff and 17-year-old boys played in the second team.
The result of the match is 10-1  For football, this is a monstrous score.

If there is no pandemic then this scenario will be quite funny but with this that happened, I'm pretty sure that they will think thrice in deciding if the next matches will be continued or not.
On the other hand, it isn't that funny to see this kind of scenario because they have no other choice and cancelling is not on the options at that time.

Well, I think that they will not resume the next matches because of what happened or they will play one more match and see if the same result will happen. This is a terrible comeback for the football sport in your country.

After two months without competition from football and other sport now many countries have available for running all sport with healthy protocol depend how rule in some country, form europe until asian country have allow for make sport competition and now we can watch and prediction again with our favorite sport to watch and become chance for every one to know who will be the favorite team become championship.

right now, the best way to push a match or sports event is to restrict the people in attendance. as much as possible, only the necessary people involved. like you said, no audience and no other extra curricular activities added. if they will continue the event and found out afterwards that some individuals are infected, it would be hard for them to launch another event

Some of the sports organizers and people here thought of things such as continue the sports but people should only be allowed to watch in their homes which I see that is good for considering a utilitarian approach of avoiding mass spreading of the virus. But it risks the lives of the players just for the sake of providing an exciting match. In the first place, their game will not be that good as there will be no cheerings to boost up their plays, second, there will be no homecourt advantage for either team. And lastly, They can acquire the virus from other players especially for games that have direct physical contacts.

Why would wait for another person to get infected before cancelling the games ? The officials must cancel it right after they confirmed the case. The virus behaves rapidly and it can be passed from person to person and some without even showing early symptoms (because others are asymptomatic). How many people he interact with before finding out that he got the virus? You cannot trace it easily. What more if you let those people interact with new bunch of people. See? May lives are at stake thus they the best move would be an immediate quarantine.

I don't think that they will stop the next games because of the infect people before. They already got the infected person who comes to that place, so that makes the sports staff will be careful in the next games. And if they found another suspected person who infects the virus, the sports staff can stop the games, and they need to reschedule the games, and if necessary, they need to stop for some time.

That is why, before people enter the place, the staff needs to scan and collecting personal identification from people so they know if something worst happens, they can handle it with fast.

The main concern is of the staff and employees as during this lockdown they would not have got paid and many would have lost their jobs as casinos may reduce the staff considering the situation and the future. There is a need to lessen employee but i am sure this is only for a certain time that the operation is just starting,sooner when the things comes back to normal for sure there is a increasing demand for employment.

@Debonaire217 when Djokovic first announced that he wasn’t keen to take vaccines or medicines for covid I understood his concerns, as I felt that he was talking a right stand as no one should be forced to take vaccines against their will. However by organising this event he’s made me question his mentality, and instead of being apologetic he’s yet not ready to accept his mistake which is really sad, and I hope for his own sake he will apologise soon.

I can't understand (from a scientific point of view) why some one should refuse a vaccine.
People are forgetting that a lot of people die each day in third/fourth world countries due disease that are avoided with a vaccine.
In the past it was the same, and nowadays it's full of examples of the REAL BIG DAMAGE created by refusing vaccine.

Why some one with a minimum level of brain should refuse it?

I don't think it should be regarded as a laughing matter. Regardless of their physical training athletes  all got something in common - they are just  ordinary people susceptible to the disease. If all of them get sick  that will be the end of sport betting.

Personally, I can only agree that the situation itself can be called funny.  The club did the right thing deciding to put up a young team instead of a technical defeat.  
All the same, the more difficult the conditions for the game, the stronger the growth of skills.  It is amazing that such a young team was able to score even 1 year for professionals.  

I wonder what was the coefficient for such event.

A real bad news for his fans and tennis world. Football world have also experienced its impact and due to covid 19 worldwide football fans have already waited for a long time to watch their favourite team matches. Although football leagues are running their matches but i don't know how longer they will be able to continue. Overall situation can get complicated anytime.

Novak Djokovic seems to be hit hard with his family and will definitely have a great change observed in his game after his recovery because of the damage this virus will cause him inside. Infection cases are going up almost all over the world. It has been stated the EU infection rates have recently dropped but now that Italy and Spain are beginning to open up to tourists once again and also with the lock down restrictions becoming extremely relaxed in the United Kingdom - things might change with an upward curve or spike. The UK government spokesman said yesterday they expect the virus to be  active at least until next summer.

Some states in the US and also in countries such as Mexico and Brazil the virus is rampant.

50k+ new cases and more  than 1k deaths happened yesterday in Brazil.

USA reported 33k new cases, 700 deaths. (Yesterday)

Mexico is not in a good shape neither.

Reported case/death numbers in EU is slowing down but like everybody else, I find it hard to believe.

People are not panicking as hard as they used to, don't know if that's a good thing or not. Time will tell.

Actually the people are not paying money just to see their favorite players or maybe their favorite teams. People are just their for them to make money and bet on the tram that they look have the chance to win and give them some money.

But I've seen also some people who are wanting it to see their teams because they are probably associated with them and they are fan of it.

I think it is the player responsibility now of what to do.Of course he can opt to not play and participate in the tournament but that will lose the player some reputation.I would understand completely a player who refuses to participate because of this pandemic.He choose to play and now have to face the consequences.
