Seems like Vitality is still extending their slump. G2 is slowly edging them out 1-0, with the said team currently having the upper hand against Vitality in Vertigo. Usually this map is heavily CT Sided, but so far most of the rounds belong to G2 in their T-side and are continuing to extend their lead. Vitality star player zywoo doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. The rest of the team seem to not be in sync today. If they want a shot at the semis, they have to stop scattering around A and contesting ramp/yellow peek. But I guess they will just continue to d that strat until the end.

They were eventually eliminated by G2 in the third map, Anubis. Hooxi and Monesy are just too good for Vitality. Vitality was able to force the third map through overtime in Vertigo. The match in Anubis is quite equal until the second half where G2 totally took over.

Thankfully I did not make any bet in this tournament or else I would been bleeding. All the favorites have been eliminated and sent to early vacation. Now I am thinking this was actually their plan. Lose and get and early Christmas vacation

It is hard to predict the outcome of the semifinals because there has been a lot of upset in this tournament. The favorites were the first ones that is eliminated. With G2, I am totally at the edge. They have performed poorly this year, but it seems that they are having a redemption tournament in Blast World Final. But I am still not confident to make a bet on them versus Faze. Faze is the complete opposite of G2 since they have a blast this year but are not getting anywhere these last few tournaments.

Maybe you are right. It is better to go over and then you can parlay it +1.5 maps to get a higher odd. It is very hard to predict the winner of these matches, but I will risk a few bucks on OG and G2. Might throw in some $$$ towards G2 just because of those odds and not how they performed recently. I'm still 50/50 on their composure and their ability to play as a team as of late even though they just won against Vitality, a relatively strong team on its own right. M0nesy, as usual, is the one carrying this team even though niko has some help with hooxi leading in to the charge on some rounds. It would be an interesting match against the two teams but I'm leaning more towards G2 making a miracle again and breezing past FaZe in the semis.

The thing is, on their previous matches against other teams, they seem to struggle finding their flow in the T-side of the map. There are tons of miracles that they need in order to win on this map and possibly in the semis. I'm rooting for Liquid just to see Elige again in the finals against G2, my other bet.

In the semi-final first match of the Blast world final tournament, we watched liquid vs og. Liquid lost the first map even though he chose it. Og couldn't win the map of his choice either, so it was left to the last map. Teams usually prefer to leave Anubis to the last map. Liquid was the better team and managed to win the match. As the first team to reach the final, they are already waiting for their opponent. His opponent will be the winner of the G2-Faze match.

G2 - FaZe was a really competitive matchup to be honest. The final score might be 2-0 but G2 didn't win comfortably on both maps. But still this result is quite surprising to me because I was favouring FaZe to eliminate them and maintain a good form. They have been inconsistent for a long time and this was their biggest chance to put an end to it.

G2 continue to surprise everyone by beating really tough top tier teams these days. Outsiders, Vitality and now their latest victim is FaZe. I must admit that huNter's performance was amazing today. He got 29 frags on Nuke and 25 frags on Inferno. jks was also great on Nuke.

G2 is literally on fire in this tournament. The whole team plays extra games. I trusted in the G2 quarterfinals, I made a prediction. I couldn't trust them because they were facing FaZe in the semi-finals, now I wish I had taken a little risk. It satisfied me at the given rate. Jks and Hunter did better ADR than the team's favorites, and they did so in the semi-finals. There are big changes in G2 now. The tournament will be the NA - EU final of the final. I support the EU side and will play gamb on them. I did not look at the rates, my decision is still certain.

G2 is on fire right now. They have beaten the best teams this year, so I guess I have to back them up in the finals. It is not easy to beat Faze, Vitality, and Outsiders but they did. Monesy is on point this tournament as well as hunter and Hooxi. Team Liquid is having a hard time and every win is a struggle. They even lose their map pick today against OG. It is a good thing they were able to recover in Inferno and Anubis.

G2 has been mediocre this year but in this tournament, they are having a blast. This is their redemption tournament and I hope they end up getting the championship. They are ending this year with a bang.

In the other semifinal match of the Blast tournament, we watched G2 vs Faze. G2 seems to have settled some things in the team. It seemed to me that they are no longer the same as before. Everyone in the team started to contribute as a frag. You shouldn't expect anything from Hooxi anyway. Since he is an igl, he is not expected to get much frag. Just like with karrigan. Other players played better and won the match and reached the final. We will watch G2-Liquid match in the final. It is sure to be a tough match for both teams. I think all 3 maps will be played. I'm not sure who will win, but Liquid seems to be one step ahead.

Both teams I picked ended up winning, even though I just slept through the tournament  Liquid's entries and retakes have been nothing but amazing very recently compared to what they did in the Fall Finals. Elige has been very instrumental in all of those trade engagements; NAF has been very great in entries; OSee is slowly proving himself to be one of the best AWPers of this era; Yekindar popping off and stepping up on clutch scenarios and preventing most eco saves to happen and of course, nitr0 proving that he's a capable IGL after all.

Props to their defenses and their strategies on taking sites over. Liquid is no match to how G2 played Inferno, and even though Mirage was somehow close, G2 still managed to get the upper hand and destroy Liquid with some of their force buys. M0nesy played really well, and jks supported everyone like a champ and took fights like an unkillable warrior. I lost both my bets, but I enjoyed watching a great CS.

It is total domination by G2 in both maps. As I have predicted, G2 is totally in point in this tournament and Team Liquid is quite shaky. I thought team Liquid will be able to come back and force a third map when they tied the score in the second round of Mirage but Monesy, jks and hunter took over and won the map.

G2 redeem themselves this tournament after a year of struggle. They deserve this win.

Especially their talented player yekindar was very ineffective in this match. On the other hand, g2 was the better team and they knew how to win. They definitely practiced well. I think this finale in the Blast Premier should have been different. I would have expected to see a different team than Liquid against G2. But Natus Vincere's weakness helped Liquid eliminate one of their toughest opponents in the tournament. OG wasn't as serious target as Natus Vincere I think and they showed it to us by a good performance.

I was expecting a clear victory by G2 in the finale anyway. After defeating top teams in the previous stages we have all seen how determined they were. Liquid still had weaknesses. YEKINDAR's performance was playing a huge role in their team effort as well. And he was horrible today. Despite his being one of the top fraggers of the team he was able to get only 10 and 11 kills on those maps respectively. G2 played decently as a team and deserved that 2-0 victory.

NiKo and huNter were impressive today with really solid clutches. I'm feeling good for NiKo because there was some drop in his performance recently.

G2 did not disappoint my trust this time. As a team, they played two very effective maps. Everyone on the team did their part. M0nesy was chosen as the MVP of this tournament, this kid will be chosen MVP many more in the future. A super career has already been built. There were no players under 1-kd in the final match, which is a great achievement in G2. Inferno, Mirage maps were my favorite maps, they were enjoyable matches.

The match could have been better if Team Liquid have shown any resistance. They cannot even dominate the map they pick. Mirage is their best map, and they never lose in it. But in the Finals, G2 clearly dominated them in both the T and CT sides. G2 is clearly the better team in this tournament. They had a rough year but they ended it with a bang. Monesy deserve the MVP award with the clutches he made throughout the tournament.

NiKo and huNter were impressive today with really solid clutches. I'm feeling good for NiKo because there was some drop in his performance recently.

You can add jks to that list. He has performed really well, and he is a good addition to G2 this year. He got his own highlights and deserves recognition as well.
