I knew BetBoom from only DOTA tournaments before. But not much time ago I heard about their name in CS2 as well thanks to the Major RMR stage.  Smiley

nafany's team were ranked 48th shortly after its foundation. It looks like they made really great progress in a short time period. Recently there is some fall in their ranking but they are still a promising team for top 10.

I just didn't like their performance in the RMR though. Their losing against NaVi and EF in the last two series brought their end in the tournament quickly. Especially EF completely destroyed them by easy wins on Mirage (13-7) and Vertigo (13-1).

I've stumbled upon a tournament in SEA for Dota 2 named RES - Regional Series SEA #1.

IHC and Talon esports are the ones that have fought at the grand finals and it's just a best of 3 series game. Talon Esports made 2-0 against IHC and took home $25k prize as the champ.

There's this point that they've won too which is 100 but I don't understand for what it is. Maybe RES globally?
I guess they'll have a leaderboard similar to what ESL has done with their EPT leaderboard, where teams that accumulated the most points through smaller tournaments would eventually be qualified in bigger tournaments.

It's like the leaderboards for tier 2 teams, but there's not much info on the tournaments or the points system. I only found some clues because they're also organizing tournaments in CS2, specifically the CCT online tournaments.
Hmmm.

This means that they might have a global RES soon and all of the regional winners or those that have qualified points are going to participate with that soon.

There's still lack of details within it and there's not that much good tournaments that we have lately. Most of these tournaments are sponsored either by another casino or by a huge organization that just want to have a huge exposure from the dota 2 community.

.
.BIG WINNER!.

Typically, an org from CS2 can dive into another esports that they think they can dominate. I've seen orgs from CS2 or any other esports but they're having hard time in dominating Dota 2.

So, with BetBoom, it's also vice versa with the other orgs or teams. In fact, they've just finished their own sponsored tournament recently that happened in Dubai.

Going with the matches, LGD gaming advances to the finals.

Not really a fan of all chinese teams final but if I have to pick one than XG it is. Even the bookies had them as the huge favourites. I thought the odds would be similarly close especially because LGD hasnt lose a single map in the playoff while XG lost 1 already

I think Im going to regret this and tbh, I've been losing like alot in dota2 ever since this year and it makes me totally lost interest in betting it lol. For some reason I've been doing pretty okay on cs2 although I dont really watch most of the games

If I were you, I'd stick to the CS2 games even if I don't watch most of their games but I am winning. There's still really the passion to bet for Dota 2 matches once you're a fan and a bettor of it. XG and LGD gaming at the finals whilst Boom Esports and IG at the 3rd and 4th place. The prize pool of the championship is certainly far from the 2nd and another chinese team triumphs on this tournament just as always although for some tournaments, it's not a chinese team that has become a champion. What I like with these teams from that region is that they're disciplined and consistent, thanks to their coaches that have been in the scene for a long time and even played professional too before.
Good luck to your bet and sometimes, those that are good at the upper bracket then got some jinx at the grand finals so, that's possible that LGD might lose this despite they're the crowd favorite and bookies agree to that.

This weekend the last two matches of the PGL Major Copenhagen EU Last Chance Qualifier matches are being played. I was really surprised to see Astralis, fnatic and BetBoom all reach only the 4-6th place. This week I was really busy and couldn't watch any of the matches, but none of the three teams even won a single a map. Luckily I didn't bet any money on the games, because I wouldn't have expected for the teams to lose so easily. The first match of the day will be Guild Eagles vs GamerLegion, both teams need to win to still have a chance to reach first place and qualify for the Major. For me GamerLegion is the stronger team here and they should be advancing. For example, both teams faced off against ENCE during the qualifier rounds where GamerLegion onyl lost 14-16, whereas Guild Eagles only managed to win 6 rounds against them. I think the decider match later today will be played GamerLegion vs 9pandas, which is going to be a close match. I haven't watched too many matches from 9pandas yet, so it's a bit to place any bigger bet. But if GamerLegion is playing a strong match today then I think they will be hyped to qualify and will beat 9pandas too.

Exactly. There isn't such thing like an organization will be successful in another e-sports field surely. BetBoom can still do better in time in CS2 as well by getting more experienced thanks to joining big tournaments. The roster is built with Russian players by the way. The squad quality isn't much bad and thanks to having players of same nationality would be a big help for communication too.

RMR A and RMR B stages have finished!

In RMR A, fnatic and NIP both said goodbye. Seeing these two teams in this situation isn't good at all. Both of them were much stronger in the past but they are both in a renovation phase now seemingly.

When it comes to RMR B, Astralis and GamerLegion both were eliminated. Astralis are already far away from their successful times. But GamerLegion's result was unexpected for me. Because they completed the Paris Major as 2nd but now they couldn't even get past RMR stage.  Sad

The games are on going and the first match goes to XG. I just noticed that this finals won't be going to a best of 5 series but only a best of 3.

So there it goes for XG, the advantage is already on them for having that 1-0 in a bo3 series.

Typically, an org from CS2 can dive into another esports that they think they can dominate. I've seen orgs from CS2 or any other esports but they're having hard time in dominating Dota 2.

If they're new there, it's like an experiment and see if the chemistry of the roster goes on. But if not, they might just have to do a reshuffle or buyouts that they think can help the org grow into more competitive actions.

Because with that, it's worth every investment as they get to participate more tier 1 tournaments and probably more sponsors too.

Congrats on your XG ticket and i'm in the same boat with my Dota bets, i've always had more losses because of the trap odds. While in CS2, I got a few nice wins, mainly from Team Spirit during their clean IEM run and betting against some of the weaker teams in the RMR tournament.

But GamerLegion's result was unexpected for me. Because they completed the Paris Major as 2nd but now they couldn't even get past RMR stage.  Sad
That's because GamerLegion had a downgrade after the major. They lost their two best players in the team, iM got picked up by Navi and their former IGL siuhy is now playing for Mouz.

Lol I kinda forgot about this ticket, that explains why balance increased. I've been putting decent amount of bets onto alot of varieties lately and the esports section is separated on sportsbet, I didnt even bother to check there lol. Anyway, the thing with cs2 is that there are alot of tournaments that Im not even familiar with hence its pretty confusing for someone like me that doesnt really follow them thoroughly

Anyway, dreamleague is starting but Im skipping the bo2 group stage for sure lol

I didn't noticed that and the games are almost over, the last one that is in-game right now is 1.win and Aurora. I see that this is an online type of tournament. I thought that it's another LAN and those that have participated the past tournaments were also part of this.

I'd also avoid these BO2 games, they're terrible. You'll never know if these players are gonna make some experiments or they get serious with it. But I think the ones that are serious during this time can't even make it a whole 2-0 games although some already did.

It's just hard to comprehend these bo2 games.

Dota2: Standing after day 2 of Dream League Season 22, Group stage 1. Surprising that Team Liquid are underperforming at the moment and it looks fairly grim. A lot more is expected from IG as well but there's more games to be played, some time to recover.

This is first time to come back on Dota2 scene. I’m really surprised on the players shuffle on all the teams playing on this Dream League tournament.

Ame is already playing on Xtreme Gaming
Yuragi inactive while Timado replaced him
Talon > Aurora
Tundra members got separated despite their team is already solid
1win=1xbet?  Cheesy

A lot to catch up here but I think Xtreme Gaming will be my new favorite team because of Ame return.

Dota2: Standing after day 2 of Dream League Season 22, Group stage 1. Surprising that Team Liquid are underperforming at the moment and it looks fairly grim. A lot more is expected from IG as well but there's more games to be played, some time to recover.

B8 is doing pretty well considering CTOMAHEH and Dendi playing for the team, both considered washed-up pros just years ago. I can't imagine how Dendi still plays fairly solid considering how many talented players have risen over the years of his inactivity. Perhaps his experience is working good for the team, having been around since Dota 1 and knows a lot of mechanics due to that said experience.

All eyes are also on XG because of Ame. The hype surrounding this team is incredible and I think they're putting a good show. Hopefully they put the doubters to their place and get a good finish for this tournament. It's been 4 months since I touched anything Dota-related but hopefully I can still follow the shuffles and the teams.

Yes, it's only a online tournament. But it's good for to the teams that participated Games of the Future in Kazan, especially Xtreme Gaming who won the tournament but with only 1 day window for this DreamLeague.

Anyways, I was also planning to not bet on the BO2 games because I am bad at it over the years. I was still tempted to bet on Shopify Rebellion taking map 1 against Aurora but when it lost I am done with it. Maybe I'll try to look for the top teams losing the first map and then bet on the second map although odds could be low.

Meanwhile, MinD_ContRoL was kicked out of Tundra after issues with MoonMeander and Zai are becoming irreconcilable. I don't know what happens since Tundra is playing against Secret and Liquid later.

This weekend the qualifiying matches in America for the PGL CS2 Major 2024 in Copenhagen are being played. The games are best of one and best of three matches which is going to make it quite interesting and we are seeing a lot of teams playing today. The first of match of the is Complexity vs BOSS, which is going to be a clear win for Complexity. They are one of the stronger teams of America and BOSS I have never seen playing in a big tournament. The second match will be paiN vs RED Canids, two Brazilian teams where I am not too familiar with. It feels like a coin flip and I better skip that match for the day. The third match will be the most interesting one of the day with FURIA vs Team Liquid. The two teams are very experienced and equal in strength, I am going to bet my money on FURIA, because I am a huge fan of FalleN and think he will lead his team to victory. The next match will be M80 vs Imperial, I only know Imperial and they are a decent mid tier team which should be winning that match. MIBR vs NRG is going to be another very one sided game and should in the hands of the Brazilians, they have a lot of experience as well and managed to get far in the last few tournaments they were in. Nouns vs Legacy is going to be another Brazilian team playing for a place in the Major. The team around former superstar coldzera did well in the qualifiying matches and definitely has a chance to win against Nouns even though they lost against the team in January this year.

That match of Aurora and Shopify Rebellion was fun to watch. SR just won 2-0 against Aurora and I guess this is the time that I've seen them looking at their strongest form again.

Later on, SR will be up against GG and yesterday GG lost against Team Falcons. They're for sure hungry to win these games as whoever got there will only be four teams that will be eliminated after this group stage 2.

.
.BIG WINNER!.

Well, the games now are no longer in a BO2 series and that's why this is now one of the good times to start betting for the matches that you pick for your favorite teams.

Meanwhile, MinD_ContRoL was kicked out of Tundra after issues with MoonMeander and Zai are becoming irreconcilable. I don't know what happens since Tundra is playing against Secret and Liquid later.
Yeah, he got kicked during the tournament and it's funny how this organization that used to be reputable before but not anymore today can take that.

As the GS2 is in for this DreamLeague, many were satisfied that they got out of the tournament early.

Nouns vs Legacy is going to be another Brazilian team playing for a place in the Major. The team around former superstar coldzera did well in the qualifiying matches and definitely has a chance to win against Nouns even though they lost against the team in January this year.

coldzera was really a legend once.  Smiley  His times at SK Gaming were amazing and he achieved so many championships in only 2 years.

Now he is 29 years old of course and I can expect his reflexes to be like those times. He is still doing his best to contribute though. Legacy is a quite new team. They couldn't rise much in HLTV rankings since the day the team was founded. Average player age is 24 by the way. I think it isn't too much and it is because of having 2 experienced old players such as coldzera and NEKIZ.

I hope they can get higher in rankings in time. I would like to see coldzera still being successful.

I think we can safely say that Liquid needs another offlaner right ? 33 is really not a top tier offlaner and he has only a 4 heroes that we can play at a "high" level so that's why I think as long as they have 33 in their team , Liquid will achieve nothing than last places in most of the tournaments.

Meanwhile , BetBoom is finally achieving a beast mode and this is what they suppose to look when they formed this team and if they keep this flow going , I think they will win at least 1 Major this year.
