I just saw the news about Cloud 9 has came back to Dota 2 and they've taken the roster of Entity. I guess there's a huge buy out from them, Entity organization made money a lot from this roster.

This is not what I expected from Cloud9, but Entity got the most out of this move since I can still recall their roster was in shambles after the DPC ended.

There's also Arteezy moving away from the competitive scene and Shopify Rebellion got Pakasz as their new carry with Saberlight subbing in for MC for the Elite League. Now i'm a bit looking forward to how their roster will perform with a different carry.

I just noticed that alot of top teams were missing on this tournament. At first I thought they probably want to take a break on a small tier tournament but this is a $1M prizepool tournament. This is also probably going to be the last top tier tournament before TI though

I could totally understand if team like GG would skip this out especially after they win Riyadh Master but even Team Liquid as the runner up will be playing in this tournament so I dont really understand why most team skip this out

Anyway, I really like their prizepool format though. $800k as competition prizepool and another $200k divided between teams with proportion for their team's viewership so basically its guaranteed alot of money for top tier teams

You forgot to mention the most important part which is BC.Game is part of the Cloud9 partnership which is one of the casino with ANN thread and Signature campaign here.

Yeah, thanks. Most of the teams nowadays have their own casino sponsors that are supporting them. And that's actually good for those teams to sustain their organization and operations to retain their players but this is a common move. When TI is coming and a qualified team is already there, some orgs might just buy out the team name and a rebranding is normal before the tournament happens as long as the original roster is maintained, Valve allows this.

Cloud9 is one the old team I keep watching when I’m still new on Dota2 way back when Chinese Dota is still strong that can compete against western teams in the TI. But way back then, I don’t see Cloud9 being on the top spot (Correct me if I’m wrong).

There were some notable era from Cloud9 and one of the most known of it was during EE-sama's stay there. He's the meme of the dota 2 professional scene, sometimes plays well, sometimes don't. Oh, I just missed him as he's already retired.

It’s a great move to acquire Entity line-up since they have a potential to scale up like Team Spirit.

They're still a young team though but true, they have the potential.

Some of them probably turned it down because they got invited to the Snow Ruyi tournament first, and it's scheduled to start around the same week as Elite League.

I remember Team Liquid has the best outright odds to win the Elite League around 2.10 which is crazy. Then again it makes sense to redeem themselves after their heartbreaking loss against Gaimin Gladiators in the finals of the Riyadh Masters.

We're back in action for Dota 2 in Lima for the Elite League Season 2. Here are my bets for first four matches of the day, there will other matches to be followed but I am not yet sure if I'll follow up some bets there.



First game with OG and Apex Genesis don't have that good odds so, I'd go with the total kills for the map 1.
The rest of my bets are with match winners and all of the matches on this swiss stage are all best of 3 series'. These matches are like testing the waters still, so good luck to me and all of our friends here that are about to bet too.

Matches are going to start in 5 hours from now.

Good betting choice guys. I have to praise you that you are a bettor who always has a positive mind when it comes to choosing high odds such as the Heroic vs Cuyes eSports match.

They're both from South America, I know that Heroic is stronger and has got more experience. But I guess that it's not that bad to try Cuyes eSports with that 7.00 on the book and probably I've watched some of those players games in the past and I'm quite impressed.

Good luck with your specialty bets len, I hope we win with map 1 for OG for total kills. Yeah, many of those teams are not that known but it's always good to explore with new team names. However, I've followed some of them in tier 2-3 tournaments.

Oh yeah I didnt notice this one. I thought this is just some low tier tournament due to its name but still $500k prizepool compared to $800k+$200k prizepool seems like an easy choice. Atleast I know what I will be watching though, I'll be watching Snow Ruyi Tournament

I completed forget Nigma out of the picture since they kinda so cold in every tournament. I wonder who will draft on Nigma because it’s still useless to remove Kuro if the draft will be the same.

Ghost is a good stand-in because I remember watching him on RNG before that is a very decent carry. I preferred him over V-Tune. I hope Nigma will have a solid performance in able to get back on higher tier tournaments.

Well I dont see anyone listed as the coach for Nigma so yeah perhaps Kuro would be doing the draft but the whole gameplay would be different. Kuroky on the team means everyone would have to listen for his in-game call so with him out of the equation, GH could be the one making all those calls so it could be a whole new gameplay for them. Atleast this new draft got my attention so yeah I'll be watching this one for sure

I personally like Miracle to be on the team as well but oh well

I'm very satisfied with Eternal Fire's performance so far.    All of those 3 wins were easy ones and they convince me to bet on them with their current performance.

Tomorrow there are last group matches and then we are continuing with brackets.



3DMAX is the most serious opponent for us in the group. As our odds are only 1.38 against 2.8. I wouldn't find it logical to bet on such low odds. I guess it is better to wait for brackets. I believe we have a good chance to win the tournament and get that $120k prize. ENCE looks like the biggest challenge.

With those odds, I agree that it's better to skip and wait for the playoffs. The alternative bet is probably to take 3DMAX handicap rounds assuming it'll be a close match that can potentially go to OT.

ENCE is still on the verge of not qualifying based on their current standings, but they should dominate against True Rippers and edge out The Mongolz in the tiebreakers if both teams win their series and finish with a 3-2 record.

I'll dive in for a bit of League of Legends as we have a couple of LCK matches today and i'm still not confident in betting on the Elite League and the Skybet tournament. FearX takes on BRO in the LCK and BRO is currently the worst team in their league while FearX is looking competitive after recently winning against good teams like T1 and KT Rolster.

It wasn't good yesterday (1-4) but good thing Evil Rabbits still gave me a W despite all of the other bets that I've got were losses. I'm upset with MOUZ and Yellow Submarine. Mouz won map 1 and about to win map 2 but then with a single mistake, YS able to twist everything and despite that there's still tier 2 tower in the middle lane, they're playing with them on the radiant's base and then everything turned upside down.

Anyway, I hope that I'd be able to get some wins today, only 1 match winner bet this time. No total deaths for now but still good luck with these bets.

We are continuing with playoffs after the end of the group stage of Skyesports tournament. 



The MongolZ look pretty strong now and I think they will advance to semi finals. Considering the placements in HLTV ranking, I could say it would be an equal matchup between Eternal Fire and The MongolZ. I hope we reach the final no matter the opponent will be. 

The odds for the 3DMAX v ENCE match:

- 3DMAX: 1.58
- ENCE: 2.20

I think ENCE have odds worth being given a chance. I wonder why they are even the underdog here...

The Snow Ruyi tournament starts in less than an hour, and the best thing is that it's bo3 format throughout the group stages and playoffs.

The MongolZ easily took care of Amkal esports and will face Eternal Fire later today. You're spot on about this semi-final matchup going either way as I see their odds close to 1.80 on a few bookies while The MongolZ are at plus odds. Even though it's almost a 50-50 matchup, I still think Eternal Fire will pull through because of their clean group stage and after 3DMAX sent ENCE packing, i'm starting to think we could have a 3DMAX vs. Eternal Fire grand final.

Looking at the results of the matches your bets went 1-3, but you're still close to breaking even thanks to Execration's huge win against Shopify Rebellion. I thought Shopify Rebellion would get their first win from Execration, but they surprisingly underperformed and got swept.

The same goes for Team Liquid, they suddenly lost every map, while 1win is off to a perfect 2-0 start, they could go 4-0 tomorrow because I think OG is the only other team that can give them a loss.

I'll try this low odds parlay for the next matches as 1win and OG are the only teams that looked reliable after yesterday.
