At the moment, it's not running on anything. I'll assume your speaking about where it's hosted and what CMS. I know my way around Host Gator and Wordpress, so that's what I'm leaning towards. Once set up, I'll have edd transfer the DNS.

You don't have to honor any pledge until you know which charity the funds will be allocated for, coupled with you being fully comfortable donating to any particular cause.

I have no problem with FTP'ing, HTML or CSS. It's these--Pearl Jam, C-- (or is it +CCC), Ruby Don't Take That Train to Town, Monty Python, Java with Cream, among others--that I have no clue as to what the hell is going on.
