I tried the new Android miner and I can't connect to Dwarfpool. It says: "Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to erebor.dwarfpool.com:3346, Connection refused". Has anybody been able to mine on Android? What speeds I can expect?

I was using it before on groestlcoin.biz, not sure if it works on Dwarfpool? I don't remember the speed because my battery of my Z10 was drained very fast.

Why mine with Android if you can mine more groestlcoin with your pc's gpu and play awesome games like StarCraft?

OK I figured out, I had wrong port number  . My Sony Xperia Z1 Compact hashes at 140 kh/s. That's nothing. But it was worth trying and definitely it's a good option for an average joe to mine few cents.  Just note, during the night I had the phone plugged to charger and anyway the battery was almost drained till the morning at 7%.

Always liked this coin, I still do. It's a shame it's so undervalued though, perhaps mutlipool or a bit of market manipulation is in order to make things a bit more interesting. I can setup MP but I just can't afford the proper hosting if anyone is feeling generous to get this setup send me a PM. But I guess it will all be pointless if nobody will mine on it.

I hope we can combine our knowledge and let the Groestlcoin succeed. With a market cap of +- $12.000 the
Groestlcoin is under valued. Especially compared to other altcoins with less potential, and are technically less

Rolling out an update for the address pages in the explorer

This speeds up loading for addresses with very large amounts of transactions (essentially dwarfpool's) and adds a couple filters.

We are at the dawn of the possibilities that cryptocurrencies have to offer. There is a lot said and in essence cryptocurrencies have a bad reputation (for a lot of people). Criminal activities etc. Although some altcoins showed some potential so fa,r the market is still a labatory.

What we need to offer is security; a safe of trading/receiving/sending and transparency. Just like real money, gold, stocks and other things we give value to everything; which is based on faith and the believe in that specific system that it is not going to collapse. A widespread faith/believe in the system is essential for succeeding. How we want to do that is up to us. We have a lot of members who can ensure this with technical parameters. We have to come up with a joint strategy that improves the Groestlcoin and everything attached on structural basis. It is time to set goals and to work on this and to support each other in this process. More people need to be involved in Groestlcoin. The core members (which is the foundation of the currency) and shareholders and stockholders in general. And familiarity at a broader audience. This will create more people who are willing to help us (and creates more knowledge, interest etc.) to increase the odds of succeeding. Remember:
Whith a life expectancy of 80 years we only 4160 weeks to live (with already a big part already consumed) we have to move forward and to make steps day by day, and work to our goals!!!!
