everything that happens in crypto is very risky, it is not possible for a coin that is already very good like a coin that is very reliable. if you want to minimize the risks that occur in your trade that you choose then for some investments in a few coins / tokens

If you want to invest safely, of course, avoid investing in new crypto coins. Because our risk of loss is very large. Moreover, new coins that
are not listed on popular exchanges can be more risky, and therefore many senior members in this forum which suggests investing in the
top 10 crypto is right. Because the top 10 cryptos are usually popular old coins and have high volumes.

Most new coins are build by greedy developers, many if them aim only on money making, they are less determined on their project success that's why I don't have plan of holding new tokens for long time, I'm more satisfied with old altcoins
Yes, the new tokens that are currently not feasible to hold in the long run, because the risk is very large, different from the old tokens that already have market power and are already very much in demand.

Old altcoins are more safer than new altcoins, they have already gain popularity and strong community, the thing with new altcoins are you will never know what will happen to them in few months later, I've seen many interesting new altcoins that died within few months or years, old altcoins have stronger foundation

not everything is like that. I save also trade CTSI on the binance exchange. from the start the IEO is complete the improvement is seen on the CTSI chart. This new coin seems to have a lot of interest. even today, growth is quite good. to hold in the long run I think it is not good, but to see how the development of the next 1-2 years I think it would be appropriate for us to follow this asset.

Cartesi token is a very good new project, it's recommendable for newbies, I'm more satisfied with the team of this project, they are very hard-working, another good altcoin is Tezos, I believe it's a hidden gem that will take good position on CMC in future

Investing in cryptocurrencies has always been a big risk and will always be, and investing in new cryptocurrencies always needs to be wisely and you need to study every cryptocurrency you want to invest in and it is best to invest in the cryptocurrency companies that conduct IEO on the most top cryptocurrency exchanges.

Yes, in terms of development and strength in all lines, of course the old Altcoin won a lot in this case, because we have nothing to wait for in the old Altcoin, in contrast to the new Altcoin, the developer must work extra hard so the tokens can be strong foundation basic, and can have a lot of interest through various crypto communities.

The above-mentioned coins are very good for long term holding because both these coins have active developments which already showing their credibility in the exchanges. In future Cartesi coin, will also launch their POS model and it will help the people to stake their coins for getting rewards from the company.

Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

Of course buying cryptocurrencies is an increased risk! But, as you rightly noticed, at the right time it can bring you huge profits! It's true that you have to choose your projects for investment very carefully... So as not to be deceived... Cheesy And of course you should never invest in one project, it is better to choose several!

This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
It's always risky to invest in any-kind-of-coins. Well, I can say it is good if you know how to jump in and jump out the market at the right time. As you said, a lot of coins pumped and then dumped dramatically. Then the problem is your skills in trading. It's "safer" to invest in coins that don't pump and dump surprisingly (big coins such as BTC, ETH, BNB, etc). However, the more risks, the more profits! It's your choice!
Of course, there are always risks in any kind of investment and I know it's part of investing or trading. It is quite good to invest in new coins/tokens if you know if it's legit and has a strong community and developer team. It will have huge risks if you are going to invest in new coins that randomly popped up in the market. If ever you have problems with your trading skills, you can learn it by just reading some guidelines/books about trading or you can even watch some videos tutorial on your Youtube. For me, it still not safe if you're going to invest in Bitcoin because it's too volatile. Like if you are going to see it in the market and sometimes in just a few minutes or hours you can see a big dump or pump on its price. But even if it's too volatile, it's still the number 1 cryptocurrency for me. Aside from that, it's too good for a long term investment if you are willing to earn good profit.

That's true, that's why many people are always risking because they know it will have a big profit for them. But it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes you will lose a lot before you earn good and high profits.

Yes and No, it depends on how good the projects are and that's your job to find out, presently too many projects are coming into crypto space not for the technology but for money making, we have too many repetitive projects and they are here for fund raising money, before you know what's going on the projects will exit scam on you

Considering the nature of cryptocurrency, you should know that any investment made in crypto is a risk and that is why most times you are advice to invest what you can afford to lose. I will advice you not to invest in a project you know nothing about. Before you invest in any coin be it new or old, make sure you make necessary research.

This is perfectly said for the beginners or who have limited capital with them that crypto being highly volatile should stay safe and invest and diversify in different coins so that not depended on one coin. Also, initially it is better to invest with best of the coins so that some profits could be made and later on once you research and know some good coin or project then can invest a certain portion of the amount .

I think it is depend on the project (token/coin) that you choose and pariode of time (short term/long term)  that you use.

One thing, when you see a project (coin/token) that has good team, development, idea and etc according to your analyst then I think there is no wrong for you to store your money there. I see there are a lot of the new project (coin/token) that successfully launched and has been trade in the popular exchange like binance, OKEx and etc and has a high price as well. Look at the chainlink, vechain and many more who has a high price since its price in pre ICO.

Second thing, the pariode that you choose will provide you a profit that you wanted. I mean, when you choose a project and the project has trully function in the future (I don't know I still believe that if the project has a function like a payment system or a project that will change a conventional system will always has a chance for its price increase although its price meet a dump first after it has been lounched in the exchange) for human being you don't need to worry to hold it for long term pariod. You can ignore if the price just decrease sometime because when the developer announch a good information its price will surge drastically.

The risk depends on your experience and the extent of your hedge against losses, so you should study in detail about the project and development plans, managers, and developers before investing.
If you want to speculate, you do not need a lot of information many trading platforms provide you with the possibility to achieve profits with a minimum of risks using some methods such as COC in binance.
you can make stop loss and use it to stop you loss and get advance profits.

If the tokens and coins have a reliable team and a promising project the price will likely increase. Not all coins and tokens are bad after they are listed on the exchange  I take the example of a cartesi project that recently made a surprise price after they were listed on Bunance. I'm sure investors will benefit at that time when the price exceeds the initial price

not many successful new projects like Cartesi. but I suggest not to last for a long time in a new project. they made many updates that could generate market interest. but try to see after 2 years the platform is running, it usually makes the price fall even more quickly disappear.

I only invested for 6 months to 1 year after that looking for potential coins and tokens. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple which I usually use for the long term. 6 to 1 year I feel safe to invest in new projects if the project is quality

Yes, it's so risky invest in new coins, because we dont know about the future, maybe after that, developers will run away, maybe be shitcoins and various other scary things, but if you find the great one, you will take so much profits because the price of new coins is easy to increase rather than old coins

At this time investing is like 100% risky although it's really risky to invest. Most of the project just have a good start but after a couple of weeks it go down and down and if there is no full support from the project ,it could drop until the end. That's why if you want to invest in a certain project or coin, make sure that you have study it very well and you conduct a research. Still investing is on your hands, Invest at your own risk.
