not really anonymous if the cryptocurrency project has the developer identity shown in their website like humongous banner. but most of the shitcoin out there have anonymous developer so it's better to stay away from them because huge chance its gonna turn out a scam.

In my opinion, it is indeed more risky to invest in new tokens, because they are not guaranteed and trusted. Most new tokens when
first listed on exchanges will pump and after that will dump, after that the volume drops drastically and become shitcoins or deadcoins.
