Trofo, since this is still a new pool (newish), I wonder if it's a good idea to keep the OP as a sort of announcement for CURRENT season and then below that keep a history of results and payments etc or Superbru link to result.

Maybe, this may attract newbies who see the pool is old, pays out, and has good results Or maybe they see casperBGD always wins and get scared I dunno lol

Awesome yeah, but maybe just add a specific note at the OP to say this is for current season 2022/23. For past pool results, see end of post.

Maybe it's not so important but I try to see some of the pools with the eyes of a new person and it can be easy to see the OP is old and maybe most people too lazy to scroll down and read but if they could see immediately it's an old pool with a great reputation, and a list of past prizes awarded, they might be attracted?

saw somewhere that my boy Maximiano is close to Barca, from Granada, but that would set him probably on the bench, hardly could be first keeper this season, it would be better for him to settle for Napoli, although their offer is a bit lower

Already thinking about it, don't worry. Will check out some sponsorship options and probably start the pool in couple of weeks time. La liga starts on August 12th so no point starting it this early. My sweet spot is 3 weeks before first game. Plenty of time for everyone to join.

watching transfer season and a but surprised to see Maximiano going to Lazio (expected to be Napoli), so would join Calcio as well

Valencia was not that active in transfer window so far, and this will be hard season as well, nevertheless we have more than a month till home match with Girona, to set a good start

No problem, deadline for payment is time when first game starts. I like to have complete funding for the pool at that time so I can work out rewards and similar. That being said if you or anybody else is tight for money I am sure there is couple of us here who are willing to help. If need arise just shoot me a PM and I will pay for you and you will pay back when you get in some signature campaign.

It is really very good to see these pools continuing in this year as well. I don't know how I missed these pools last year. But in this year I'm definitely going to participate in not only the Serie A pool but also the La Liga one. Frankly, my preference is 2 mbtc per person as an etry fee as Bitcoin price has gone down these days. But I would respect every kind of decision about this.

It is really very good to see these pools continuing in this year as well. I don't know how I missed these pools last year. I would personally love to increase the fee even to much higher levels but then we have the problem of pricing out casual players and we don't really have too high numbers here. Experience wise I believe that 30$ is ok for most of us and that is about 1.5 mBTC at the moment. I am leaning towards that number but wanted to hear some inputs from others as well.

There is quite a few of us that play all the pools on the forum and money needed to enter all that always gets to about 100$ that is serious money in most parts of the world. This season, I hear there are some more pools in the works and some new sponsors so it will come up to 150$ or even 200$ for participating in all of them. That is money well spent, since ROI is incredible but you still have to have that money to start with.

1.5mbtc sounds a good price. It's not much NOW but I agree, it might not fit everyone's budget and most of us are playing in everything. Personally don't mind paying more but I'm definitely aware it might be a bit difficult for everyone to play.

Thanks Trofo sorry I forgot about this one when I wrote it the Italian thread and should have seen it more recent bumped,,, great news to hear. I will probably again just do a lot of guessing for Spanish league but same as before I will join everything sponsored by Sportsbet (you never know right).

1.5mbtc is okay. It is definitely a lot of money even at low BTC price for some people, $30 if we can spend it means we are lucky than most of the world BUT I think if you cannot make 1.5 mbtc you should not be gambling

agree, would not mind if it is bigger than 1,5mBTC, but as you said if we play several leagues (and we play almost all), it comes to be a bigger amount for playing

and if we can get more participants on lower entry fee, than it is all solved, and that would be better for sponsorship as well, correct me if wrong

hopefully this season will be a bit more interesting than last one, and Real will not secure title after 30 rounds

Barcelona have signed some good reinforcements, if Sevilla and Atletico can keep up the pace and not choke week in an week out, we should have a competitive season

Hey guys, can't wait for upcoming season. Offcourse that I'm going to play, count me in. I'm going to play in Serie A pool, despite that most likely I'm going to be in the bottom part of table . I'm also fine with 1.5 mBTC, I don't think that's too much.
In general I'm happy about Barcelona transfers. Seems that Lewandowski will join Barca too. Few years ago it was difficult to imagine him in Barcelona, I always thought that one day he will move to Real. But there is some things which left mixed feelings. Departure of Dani Alves and story with de Jong doesn't looks good.

That's over half month salary for some of my friends. I would feel really bad actually if they found out I played football with that money

agree, add to that probable world cup pool, and it is above 0,01 BTC upfront, but it is whole season fun, and you are there for several yellow cups, just on statistics in La Liga and Calcio (38 rounds vs 15-20 participants)

and you can get prize in the end, so very well spent money at the beginning, for a season of fun, it is hard to see it better, but shirt would made it

In my country people are earning 300 dollars on average. If these people want to join all of the pools on the forum they will have to spend nearly their one-month earnings. Therefore whatever the entry fee is I respect it. Therefore a 1.5 mbtc entry fee is good for me as well.
