People! We are only 16.

I was checking the number and it looks like we are 19 so far. Need one more but if we can manage more 6 to 11 then we are looking at 25 to 30 participants. Two days to go brothers and sisters. Who else is joining us?

Why so concerned about our numbers? I am perfectly fine with pools that have 15 participants and I already said my sweet spot is 20. That is just right to make it competitive and have good banter here. Anything more than that just makes it so much harder to actually win the rewards and doesn't really bring any new content.

I will never limit my pools but I am also not gonna pressure people into joining. Our numbers are just where I want them  

Our sponsorship is not connected to numbers so any new participant actually lowers your ROI even though our total rewards go up.

More members mean more entry fee means more prize money. It's better for the sponsors too. Fun to chase each others. When you have more competition, you make better memory. Winning something easily does not give good satisfaction 😉

I just checked the pool and I can see there are 26 so far, well done! Last time when we spoke you said it was like 15 which was disappointing to hear but now it looks pretty good. Tomorrow is kick off and let's hope we get few more members, at least to make it 30. There are always people who like to join in the last moment and don't be surprise if people ask to join even after the 2nd round. We just need to keep the thread active and motivated. You are doing well 😊

Does it mean that once the league kicks off then entry into the competition is closed??

Just a suggestion,  is it possible to allow people to join the competition by opening the door's to all a little longer just to try onboard more users into the game..or perhaps we shall play by the rules and once door's close its over
In less than an hour our first game of La liga is underway and difficult to predict as teams shake off their extra weight and get their heads back into thw games after their holidays,  let's go boys..put on a good show

No. You can always create your account with superbru, join the tournament and make your selections. Then once you join a pool, your selections will stay and in the pool it will show the selections accordingly. So you don't need to wait for the link of the pool and then to pick your choices. If you don't have the link yet, just make sure you made your selections. Once you will join the pool it will be added automatically.

I usually leave the pool conditionally open until end of the month. But nobody will join. Who wanted to join would have already done that. Anybody who missed a round would start with deficit anyway unless they are already members of some other La Liga superbru pool.

More then enough participants this season. We grew quite a lot from last season, 10 more players roughly.

I went with Almeria to win 2-1 precisely because of what I saw on the Superbru history. I have never followed La Liga that closely to know out of my head how to answer so I went with what I saw in the history. Oh well... It's just one of many games. I hope I'll get at least some of them right.

the first pick missed match because I still did not send the picks because I thought that only Sevilla-Valencia was playing today and when I realized it was already too late even though I still had not scored points there, 3 points were already in my hands but the mistake of the defense made Rayo Vallecano score and I missed my perfect  pick 1-1

Initially it was really boring game, especially 1st half, but 2nd was better, especially ending of game. Valencia impressed me, not sure about their chances fighting for Europe, but at least they shouldn't fight to avoid relegation this season. Sevilla squad on paper doesn't looks bad, but it was poor game for them. I expect that they will be destroyed by City in UEFA Super Cup.
Looking forward to see Athletic making upset against Real today.
P.S. Damn, we have 27 players in pool this year, it's way better than I expected . It"s going to be interesting.

I didn't expect Valencia to defeat Sevilla away from home in the first La Liga match that every team is afraid of losing, considering that Sevilla has always been the winning team amongst these two teams considering their last five match statistics.

It was a good start for Valencia; three points is the important aspect now as the League just started. Their next match will be against newly promoted team Las Palmas. I hope they keep winning their matches to prove their strength this season.
