Sevilla is the only thing we can all agree on, and Girona made a big profit on their inability to score. Many chances from few attempts but defence terrible. Same start as last season it seems.

I picked Sevilla to lose first then changed it to Sevilla to win. Bad choice.
Lost money in gambling too.
When they were down I went for Sevilla to win or draw. while it was 1 - 1 it went all well. Several times I thought to cash out but for some unknown reason I was confident that nothing is going to happen Sevilla will either score one more or the score will stay as it was then.

3 lose in a row. Next time I will just play rock paper scissors and make my pick based on the result.

But here is the big difference, this pool has absolutely no similarities with gambling. I often do really well at gambling and terrible in prediction pools.

Agreed, I suck at pools. I do them too fast, without even checking team's form and suspension/injuries and without taking into account whether they have european games they need to rotate because of etc.
Betting's different, I check everything for the few matches I bet on during that day.

Also - getting the correct results is fully luck-based and carries too much weight in total placements.

Agree with pools. I don't bet like most people but I usually come away with nett wins (my record becomes terrible with unplanned tournament settings) season after season. Pools are far more erratic and have no weight system to show true value of correct picks. 2 seasons ago I was in top 10 for all pools for a really long time, last season absolute rubbish in all pools.

Too early to say about this season heh heh.

In other news this is what I believe first time in any pool ever that I am last on table. I knew I was doing badly I had no idea I am this bad   And my colleague cryptofrka is just next to me with buwaytress only one spot removed. This deserves a screenshot Sorry mitchr for dragging you into this.

It doesn't even begin to explain how bad I was in EPL pool last season -- rock bottom until maybe final 10 games (below me were only people who'd stopped playing!).

Wow Barca. No one saw that coming!

Crazy game and no defense from both teams. Very powerful start from Barca with 2 goals in minutes, then impressive Villareal comeback to leading 3:2. And then response from Barca and win 3:4. Nice to see Torres finally not wasting opportunities. I have no words about Lamine Yamal, I can't believe that he is 16 years old. When you look at what decisions he makes on pitch, he looks like 26 years old at least.
Athletic - Betis was not less amazing. Athletic from 0:2 to 3:2 already in 1st half and win 4:2. While Valencia after 2 solid rounds is back to their typical things in recent seasons - loss at home against Osasuna after conceding goal on 95th minute.

But here is the big difference, this pool has absolutely no similarities with gambling. I often do really well at gambling and terrible in prediction pools. For instance one of my favorite plays is both to score and I had it yesterday on Brighton - West Ham, that tip passed without problems and was paying a lot more than Brighton win. In PL pool I had 3:2 for Brighton or something like that.

Yeah, and in gambling you can do very well with ML bets. 99% of my bets are ML, and I can get quite good hits on multibets, these days I'm trying single odds for big wins especially using freebets and getting good win ratio. But if you pick "ML" in pools you get 1 point to 3 points, doesn't matter 1.2x or 15x sae if not worst points.

Not really, i see the last part of the game and Rayo Vallecano was trying to push for a goal, but the game was break, so every counterattack from Atletico ended up in a goal, it was a combination of skills in the definition and a strange and break game.

Well while I was expecting Real to win [they were down 0 - 1 first half], I never thought Chelsea would ruin the same acca. In fact Chelsea cost me a few bets. The 8 fold, another double where I have Chelsea to win or draw, another slip where I had both team to score. All ruined by only one team.

I think Napoli vs Lazio match in Serie A also ruined a lot of bets.
