Nothing has been announced regarding cleanwater pool. The pool is still under inspection for the records. The amount of coins shows to each account is not the real one, as transactions that were paid have been introduced as not being paid.
I believe I have already said that there's a cleanup procedure that I'm manually doing. Why do you raise an alert when there isn't one?
Pool's wallet is discovering blocks as it should and so block explorer is showing exactly what it should.

Why do you (not just you, everyone) assume that statistics reported by the pool are back online, since there wasn't such an announcement?

I don't know what is the purpose of this post, but it really got me very curious.
What is that you saw that lead you to that conclusion?

A sharp drop in the price. It was 10x higher when I checked the other day.

Also curious about the price. Just one of those weird things, or any particular reason for the drop?

The block explorer

http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/

is still on block 65977 which is incorrect and is NOT the same block the official pool is on now.  Block 65977 was found yesterday.  So the block explorer is still not working.

The official pool is still NOT working correctly.  I understand that you are aware of that but the fact is that is still is not working correctly.  Take the official pool down, fix it completely, then put it back up.

Bittrex has had deposits and withdrawals of WATER disabled for 10 days straight now.

And there is a HUGE quantity of sell orders on Bittrex and hardly any buyers. (I understand that this is out of your control)

A small issue:
The new wallet does function but is still a bit rough around the edges although it does sync now.  For example:

I should not be charged 0.1% to do a "custom change address" (coin control feature) aka send coins to the same wallet from which they are sent.  Not to mention the fact that the calculations the wallet does for the "custom change address" are never correct and leaves small amounts of coins in the wrong "chunk".  I can explain this in better detail if you do not understand.

For those who were here from the beginning, myself included, there has been a LONG line of these mistakes.  A VERY long line.  People are frustrated and they should be!

Pretty much the only thing this coin has going for it is that Mindfox is the dev now.  That said, it seems to me that things are still moving slower than I had expected.  And seriously, I'm a VERY patient guy to still be sticking around here.

I am open for PM's, IRC, even Skype etc if you need my concerns explained in better detail.

The block explorer

http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/

is still on block 65977 which is incorrect and is NOT the same block the official pool is on now.  Block 65977 was found yesterday.  So the block explorer is still not working.
This is accurate. The service that runs it hanged. While it was responsive (which is why the monitoring software didn't send an e-mail address), it didn't save the new blocks in the db (so that the web page would show them).

The official pool is still NOT working correctly.  I understand that you are aware of that but the fact is that is still is not working correctly.  Take the official pool down, fix it completely, then put it back up.
Why do you think that it's so easy to put offline the pool? Who is going to ensure the security and continuation of the blockchain? You do understand that if blocks are not found (or found in a row by a rogue miner) they give the power to do very "nasty" things, right?
The pool has to stay online while we're cleaning up the records. Functionality is normal, reporting is at fault. Although reporting is part of the functionality, it is not the main purpose of a pool software. Security of the blockchain is.

Bittrex has had deposits and withdrawals of WATER disabled for 10 days straight now.
This was because the wallet has automatically disabled itself (normal behavior) because of the many wallets being in the wrong fork. As soon as we saw that this issue was cleared (due to old wallets) the wallet daemon went back online. I'm sure that it's better for the wallet to disable itself than allow the possibility against an attack on this coin (like douple spending). What is your opinion on this?

And there is a HUGE quantity of sell orders on Bittrex and hardly any buyers. (I understand that this is out of your control)
That is correct.

If you take a step back and remember how coins work, can you tell me a way of understanding how a set of addresses belong to the same software? Or are you suggesting to create a new feature where all wallets are monitored and accounted for addresses they control? I thought that one of the basic principles of crypto-currencies was anonymity. Maybe I misunderstood you?

For those who were here from the beginning, myself included, there has been a LONG line of these mistakes.  A VERY long line.  People are frustrated and they should be!

Pretty much the only thing this coin has going for it is that Mindfox is the dev now.  That said, it seems to me that things are still moving slower than I had expected.  And seriously, I'm a VERY patient guy to still be sticking around here.

I'm terribly sorry for your experience RoyalSands. Although I do understand what you are saying, maybe you should look around and see what happens to other coins, with so called "devs" abandoning it completely, or dumping coins for their interest, or... On the other hand, you will show me a lot of successfull coins out there and our goal is to return to that level.
Please understand that things where at a minus point when I joined and slowly but steady we're back on course.
I understand what you're saying. That patience has limits but that applies for sleeping times also. Things are improving a lot regarding infrastructure. As you said, many things happened before and those are the exact issues that we are rectifying and at the same time preparing for new things.

I for one am very pleased that Mindfox is on board and I can understand why a lot of people have been frustrated over the last couple of months. There has been issue after issue, however the problems were all down to unscrupulous developers who screwed us all over for their own selfish purposes and this was not Mindfox's fault! I am ecstatic with the progress that has been made in the last couple of weeks and it seems like each issue is being addressed in a logical and methodical fashion. Remember there is a lot of code and data to wade through and MF is making very good progress and should be thanked, not shouted at!

Before you make posts in the thread pointing out problems, please take the time to read through previous posts to check if it's already on the 'to do' list, as it is probably being worked on already. Posting negative comments like "this coin is dead" does no-one any good and will only put off people who are checking us out for the first time which will ultimately delay CWC's rise back to the top. So let's keep it positive people!

I will make a start but first, just to refresh your memories:

New Code / Wallet Features
1. New Advanced Coin Control
This allows you to control which coins go in and which go out. You will now be able to control your coins so that your older coins keep staking while sending out newer coins to maximize your coin values. We will record a video explaining this feature within the next few days.

2. 0.1% Charity Donation Feature
This was an original feature the coin was going to have but was sidelined in order to not miss our launch date. After a couple months, we finally found the right guy to build this feature for us -- so thank you Costas (mindfox).

3. New Master Node
We now have a new master node set up to avoid those syncing problems in the past.

4. New Donation Feature
Some of you requested the ability to donate to the Charity Wallet straight from your own personal wallet -- so version 1.7.0.1 now gives you that ability. All WATER donated here or through the 0.1% feature will be used to help raise money for our charity water campaign, and to help afford the costs of running servers, paying for media campaigns, and ongoing development initiatives with Costas.

Coming Soon
• New Block Explorer
• WATER Faucet
• Tip Bots

This was less than 2 weeks ago and we now have:

1) A proper, working wallet that syncs to the correct nodes without messing about with different conf files
2) The promised 0.1% charity donation feature
3) A dedicated charity donation section for direct donations
4) A working block explorer (Yes, fully working - I have checked and it is now on the correct block)
5) A developer who is accountable and is active in the forum (How great it is to have some communication at last!)

I would say that is extremely good progress in such a short time and I am sure we will be seeing the promised faucet and tip bots very soon.
I have no doubt we will be listed on Mintpal shortly, and reactivated on Bittrex also.

After that, watch the price soar as Zach does his thing and gets going on some hardcore promotion and marketing.

Please post your own positive comments below!

My wallet was not syncing, it was stuck at some block. So I backed up my Wallet.dat file and then I deleted whole AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin\ folder. I have resynced the wallet again and following happened:

1) Wallet seems to be synced now
2) I see all transactions
3) Balance is 0!!!!! I think my coins are on some other fork, right?

Open the rpc console (Help->Debug and select RPC Console)
Type: checkwallet (it should show you what is missing)
Then type: repairwallet (it will show you the same, but it should recover them at the same time)

What happened is this:
Your wallet created PoS blocks from the transactions it had in the wrong chain (which is the reason you couldn't sync in the 1st place).
When you replaced your wallet.dat with a new one, you were not broadcasting false PoS blocks anymore, so it synced just fine.
When you replaced the wallet.dat, your wallet restored the info that you have transactions that are staking, but in reality in the real blockchain you had no transaction waiting to be confirmed. So, that's why you saw the 0 balance.
Checkwallet rechecks all transactions one-by-one and syncs the transactions that are kept in wallet.dat with the transactions from the blockchain and replaces the differences it might have.

Hope that helps
