I do lots of simulations in order to make sure that everything will work as it should, trying to be as proactive as I can be. During one of my simulations, I spotted issues that may arise in the immediate future if not all users not update their wallets before they connect to the network. So, I had to do all the required steps to prevent that. I'm sorry that I'm slow (to some people's measures) but I prefer to take it slow and release something that passed some QA tests, than have it blow in your face while normal usage. Wouldn't you agree?
I would agree 100%, thanks for the update. I don't mind things taking time but as your last post said the wallet would be ready within a day you can understand concerns when we don't hear anything from you for a week. I only ask that you keep the community informed if delays occur so we're not left wondering what is going on. Although I understand your concerns, you will agree with me that you didn't express them with the best available way (smile) Some times, when I try to resolve issues, I distant myself from the rest of the world, which I hope you will all excuse from me (I'm not that communicating, I know, but I'm trying (another smile) ) P.S. The parenthesis instead of codes is because my computer hit reds again and the keyboard layout is scrambled again, so I can't type the colon char...

We'll do a better of updating this thread with more consistent updates.

Quick Update: Mindox has completed the testing & we are almost done making some design changes to the wallet. Once those are complete, mindfox will integrate, compile, and away we go. We also have some new updates regarding our fundraising efforts (where donations are going to be made in the future) -- more on that tomorrow.

Spoetnik, thanks for chiming in. Let me try to address some of your comments:
1. There is currently no way to delete a poll. There was a bug with the SMF software that was fixed -- but BCT has yet to update to the latest and greatest... and therefor, we are stuck with that thing.
2. We are not changing algorithms. There was a small window of time there that we were considering switching over to a more efficient/less expensive algorithm to mine with, but that has been tabled. We are ending PoW due to the number of attacks we've had and will be transitioning into pure PoS very soon.
3. If you read a couple pages back, you'd see that our hands our plenty tied here -- so going to help out another coin is not in the cards right now. Perhaps there is an opportunity down the road -- any coins in mine?

I just do not get the mentality of people like Spoetnik who want "one true coin" -- let the market tinker and develop as many coins as it wants!
FFS, after all, there are ZILLIONS of stock ticker symbols out there on exchanges all over the world and you don't hear anyone asking companies not to go public?
People have to stop thinking of cryptocurrency as "currency" and start treating it like a "security" -- a representation of a share of something.
Clean Water Coin, for us, represents our interest and "vote" in an idea that helps improve the lives of real people everywhere. I would personally spin up personal coinbases for every village on the planet that doesn't have access to clean water.
SO, if you're here to make money for yourself? You're here for the wrong reasons...

New Wallet Design:Here is a sneak peek at the new wallet that we plan on rolling out with the mandatory update. Let us know what you think! Very nice! Just one question. How were you able to deposit WATER to Bittrex on 7/29? I tried to send WATER to Bittrex on 7/29 and not only did the coins never make it but they are not even pending. It seems a little unfair and shady that no one but you can deposit WATER to Bittrex.

Hehe, this is just a mockup mate We are still working on the UI/UX of the secondary tabs and will post those as they get completed as well -- just wanted to show the progress along the way.

I have WATER stuck in Bittrex that could be earning 8% interest in my wallet, it is a little frustrating.
