I think losing against Lens by 3-0 closed the gate for Monaco to compete with Lens and Marseille for a Champions League spot now. Because Monaco are 5 points away from Lens now and it isn't going to be easy at all for them to catch up with them on the remaining game weeks. But, are you sure they will go to UCL next season? if you look at the current Ligue 1 standings, they are only in 5th place, while to be in the UCL they have to be at least 3rd. In addition, the point difference between Lille and Lens is 7 points, due to circumstances it seems unlikely that they will leave to UCL.

Marseille and Lens are still too strong and good in second and third positions and of course, it will not be easy for Lille to overtake Marseille and Lens. The players of both the teams tried hard to win. Lyon played defensively after leading 2-1. And this is the match strategy we have seen from Lyon for a long time. When taking the lead in a match, Lyon players play defensively and don't try to attack too much. Lyon played the same strategy against Strasbourg in this match as well. After leading 2-1 in the first half, I don't see any tendency for Lyon players to attack and score goals in the second half. However, Lyon managed to secure three points. However, if they want to maintain consistency in the next season, they need to make their attack stronger.

Lille is known as one of the traditional clubs in France but has been a shadow of themselves in recent football seasons. They needed to step up their performances in the league and this game was a great way to do that.

It's high time a French club rises up and becomes a strong competitor to Parish Saint Germain because at the moment, it's looking like more of a one club league. I doubt any club will be interested in Neymar unless the price asked for him will be nothing by PSG and himself accept to reduce his salary, otherwise it will be a huge loss for any team willing to get him especially with his injuries and his special attitude..
For Messi, things are different although his age. Regardless how good he will play, any team will try to pick him even for marketing purposes.

It is highly unlikely that Monaco will be able to move into second place in the points table. The team is 6 points behind Marseille and 5 points behind Lens. And I think it is almost impossible to reduce the gap to 6 points at the moment because every team's performance is pretty stable now. In Marseille, the team will play against Lens and Lyon in their next 6 matches. Even with a win against Lens, I think second place in the table is guaranteed for Marseille. This match is very important for Champions League qualification.

Im not surprising to see the result from LOSC to win easily against ajaccio. Ajaccio is a horrible club in league 1. I meant let's talk about the fact that if ajaccio is also a bad team as well. It's a team that will be relegated soon. it's only having 25% ball possessions combined with only 0 shot on target. The result from this match is very easy to predict even if you were not looking at the statistic. Seeing the standing is more than enough to determine the result.
LOSC is far stronger compared with ajaccio. Ajaccio rarely get win in league 1.
