Whenever I visit the French League topic I see many people just talking about PSG and other people are complaining because they think in French League other teams got no chance and the only team got enough chance for the trophy is PSG because of the money they spent and unfortunately we do have the same situation in Bundesliga.
If other teams get more investors we can have a more interesting league in which other teams can race with PSG for the title.

That is one of the reasons and also one of the factors why Ligue 1 is neither attractive nor competitive from other top leagues. Now Paris Saint Germain's financial ability is far from the other clubs that are here, that's what makes it difficult for them to make at least their strength equal to Paris Saint Germain. For example, we can see how they are in the Champions League, with in fact the opponents they face have the same strength, even more than Paris Saint Germain, they can't even speak more in the Champions League by repeatedly failing in that competition.

In last few years, we have big fall in few leagues in UEFA which is surely the biggest concern for them specially here in French League we have no attraction mostly it's PSG which is controlling, and few other teams are giving tough time for the remaining spots which is quite boring, so now it's time for relative authorities to work on this and have good package for the investors which bring quality players and increase performance of the clubs which create good entertainment and competition as well.

In this year we have Lens which is currently at second spot otherwise mostly teams are regular at these spots without any challenge just because of this all PSG is also having not better results in Champions League because their dominance in this league is giving them not competition which helps them for Champions League title.

They are in 17th place with 33 points, 1 point different from Auxerre who is above them. So, they will play with full attack against Lille. I can say that Lille match against Nantes will result in at least a draw, why? because if they (Nantes) manage to get 1 point and win the last match, they can still escape the relegation zone and bring Auxerre into the relegation zone through the goal difference they each have. But this is just an assumption, because after seeing the betting market, I'm not sure that this match will result in a draw .

The difference between these teams is that Lille even won the league title while PSG were losing many points in unexpected matches. PSG have had another season with many point losses in this season but Lens couldn't become as consistent as Lille I'm afraid. This is still very good for them though.

Because nobody was expecting them to be competitive for the Champions League this much at the beginning of the season. Now they are about to join the tournament unless they make a huge mistake in last two matches. However I don't expect them to much thing in the Champions League if they improve the quality of their players more this summer.

Lens' current performance really deserves to be appreciated regardless of what they are really different from the previous season because this season they have experienced a good improvement.
Now they only need 2 points to make sure they are free from the rarity of Marseille and actually for the remaining 2 matches and only need 2 points it could be even more because seeing from their current condition they will only be against Ajaccio and Auxerre I think they will take full points . Even against Ajaccio tomorrow could be the answer to ensure they qualify for next season's Champions League.

Yeah, Ligue 1 is mostly unpredictable and having shortage of finances which helps teams for staying at the same level for few time as happen to Lille they were champions and then struggling for the top spots there were no hopes from Lens for this performance, but they have done against all odds and now having second spot and Champions League qualification as well which need good strength in squad for next season as well which needs good funding which is doubtful as we have few good teams are also struggling like Monaco and Marseille for challenging to leaders PSG.

In this season we have problems for few teams which were mostly doing good like Rennes, Nice and Lyon they have the worst time in early half of this season and now recovering which is not as par their requirements Monaco also having poor run in last few matches which is not good sign for them with most chances now they can face exit from UEFA events.

Even though PSG is a cheating club and they have no problem bypassing the FFP, getting rid of players that are too expensive and do not give a result corresponding to spending on them is quite reasonable. PSG should follow City's path - they should buy fresh stars, not retirees and go through (buy-try-sell if they don't fit) until they have a decent team. According to this model, City were able to assemble a strong team, why not PSG follow their path.

Don't forget that PSG has a dismissal option which is quite terrible if we look at it. they don't give much time to the coach because if they have trouble in a few games then the coach will be sacked and that is true after these few seasons that happened at psg.

Apart from that I think if psg follows City's strategy then they will be able to become a stronger team in the coming seasons.  they just need to change the buying scheme in the upcoming transfer window where young players are more targeted to become their prey than buying star players with old ages.

I thought things will change in the French League this season but it turned out to be the same old PSG-dominated league. Until other League One clubs have access to the kind of funds PSG have, they will not compete with them effectively. More investors maybe from the middle east need to be attracted to league one to give them the needed financial backup to sign world-class players that will compete with the squad in PSG.

It is undeniable that there are still some changes and competition in Ligue 1, but that only happens for clubs other than PSG. Like this season, Lens has appeared extraordinary or maybe the performance reversal that has happened for Strasbourg this season, but all of that will still be covered by PSG because, consciously or not, PSG is like the main focus of Ligue 1 with its players and finances.
Things like this still won't change in my opinion as long as there is no one to compete in terms of the finances of the club in Ligue 1 because you believe it or not money has to be beaten by money too, even though there are several conditions such as Lille which gave a surprise in the previous few seasons , but such a thing would not happen for the first few times in the continuing season.

I don't think Lens players are currently concerned about how difficult or easy it'll be for them to compete in both the French Ligue 1 and also in the UEFA Champions League and that I think is very understandable because very few persons expected them to finish second in the league this season.

Everything is money oriented but indeed in this case I quite agree with what you said, instead of looking for players who are almost retired like Messi or Sergio they should try to follow the style of some clubs in other leagues for some young players who have potential.
Even if big names like Messi, Neymar or even Ramos won't show anything because it can be said that even though they can still compete, their era is actually almost over.

Regardless of anything, in the end they failed because that already seems to have happened but of course it is a good achievement for Lens because being in a big competition will obviously also give a real impact especially for their class of team which can be said to be without star players I think that it's good for them.

Let's use some creative thinking in this situation, friend. Let's explore the thought that Lens's entry into the Champions League might have been a brilliant move. For other match Lille vs Nantes actually this is good chances for Lille to collect 3 points today this because we all know Nantes really weak recently and their records also looks very poor that they had passed 12 matches on Ligue 1 without the winning results and Nantes also has failed to scores goals in the last 4 matches so if we see from these records i think Lille shouldn't have any problem to beat Nantes today

I also thought about this and I have a similar conclusion. For instance if you check the teams that are coming from the English Premier League, you will discover that the newest name in the list is the Newcastle United and when you compare Newcastle to Lenz you will understand that Lenz is no match for Newcastle United.
So they need to invest more in the team in order to have a stake in the Champions League, even the Newcastle United I mentioned above, there is no guarantee that they will qualify from the group stage. Champions league is not easy for first timers in the recent time.
