PSG are still not in good condition even in the Ligue 1. They are regularly giving hope to their nearest opponents in the standings by losing games. This time they lost to Lorient home by a big score indeed. Hakimi's being shown two yellow cards very early in the game just made things harder for his team. He has the biggest part in this loss for sure.

Marseille won as well maybe but they are still five points away from the leader. There are five more weeks and Marseille need to win the rest of their games unless they lose their title chance mathematically. Otherwise nothing will change.

From season to season I always want to see what Paris Saint Germain will do, but the results have never seen anything extraordinary they do. They often make big transfers for a lot of money, but what they do seems pointless, it's just that it boosts their popularity as one of the richest clubs in Europe. But in terms of play, I think they are still a mediocre club, even I think if they were in a more competitive league they couldn't compete. The sad part is actually that PSG lost against a team that did not have any wins in the last 5 matches before facing PSG. And PSG is the leader of the table. It was of course expected that PSG was going to win the match. But the performance was not good at all.

After going behind in the 15th minute and losing a player on the 20th they actually did well to get level in the 29th minute. And it was also a good job for them to have control over the ball for a longer period of time. But nothing is going to be able to compensate for the loss.

I remember them booing Messi in a league match some time ago also. But I don't think Messi cares about this situation at all. I understand him of course as he has played for Barcelona all the time before joining PSG. There were financial issues back then which prevented Messi from signing a new contract. I wonder whether this time Barcelona can sign him by not having issues with financial fairplay in the La Liga too. Xavi looks like he would love to see him back. marseille can maximize the opportunity to stick to psg at the top of the standings. but i don't think they are strong enough to knock psg out of the title race this season. The distance of 5 points will be the capital for PSG to return to winning ways next week. For marseille the win from auxerre can be a big motivation for them to put pressure on psg. Marseille can expect PSG to be inconsistent for the rest of the season which will provide a great opportunity for them to break PSG's dominance in the race for the championship.

The point is that when Neymar moved to PSG, everyone thought that this player would be top 1 for the next decade, but in reality nothing like this happened and it’s not about injuries at all. Neymar always liked to have fun (outside of football) and it is unlikely that his attitude to work was 100% professional. All sorts of "needs" to celebrate his sister's birthday and other funny things. And all this coincided with the fact that PSG, although a top club, they play in the farmers' league ... and thus Neymar gradually disappeared. Mbappe is in danger of repeating his path, even if he is more professional in his attitude to work.

I think that it isn't the time for Mbappe to leave PSG yet. I expect him to go for at least one more year with PSG to see how things go. He is making a lot of money above all else and he wants to achieve the Champions League title with them as well. If Messi and Neymar leave soon then I wonder what Mbappe would be able to do. Because his responsibility level will increase by far compared to now.

Until now this trio have been sharing the responsibility like equal and we have seen really great performances in times all of them are on the field. However I assume that PSG would think of a solution for that case as well. I mean that I wouldn't expect them to just make do with the departure of Messi and Neymar. They have a lot of money and they can build a new trio around Mbappe.

Who knows maybe they already have a Plan B for this situation as well.
