This is one of the matches that I will watch apart from Lyon who will face Monaco because indeed for Week 36 I think there are 2 big matches that will happen.
The conditions of Lille and Marseille from a statistical point of view are better than Marseille but in this case in terms of the condition of the players I think their qualities are equal regardless of what they are the same.

If Marseille is able to hold Lille's pace this weekend, it is clear that there is a possibility for Rennes to displace Lille, which is currently in fifth place in the standings. This league was never an entertaining league to be fair, and if it wasn't for PSG then all the other teams would not make it to top 5 leagues, I would have put Eredevise over this league when you remove PSG from the calculation.

So, there is really no reason to get happy or hyped about any of the matches, I do gamble on them here and there, mainly PSG obviously but I did managed to gamble on Lens and Marseille this season a bit too but that doesn't mean it's as fun to bet on this games as it is to bet on premier league games. Hell even Bundesliga has three obviously good teams, Bayern at the top like PSG but at least dortmund and leipzig are good teams, ligue 1 doesn't have that obvious better ones, look at odds for Marseille and Lens at the start of the season to understand the difference.

The problem with Paris Saint Germain was not having a balanced team, they hired many superstar players for this season and they had the best forwards in the world also Paris Saint Germain got enough investment to pay enough to the players but they didn't have good coach and balanced team, that's why the fans were also unhappy.

I have been praying for Lens to maintain that second position since and they are doing just that. At a point I felt the pressure would be too much and they would fold under pressure but they have proved me wrong and I'm happy for that.
My faith in them increased when they won Marseille two game weeks ago. There/s a saying that if you want to be champions you have to beat the best. In this case Lens beat the biggest threat to second position.
They haven't qualified for the champions league yet because there are still three matches to play and they are just two points above Marseille but they are in a relatively good spot. All they have to do now is win their three remaining games and that would be it.

I am tired of seeing familiar teams in the Champions League finals this is why I always support teams like Lens to succeed. The club is just two points above Marseille and both teams will not be meeting any too flight club like PSG in their remaining games. Marseille will face strong opposition from LOSC but I think both teams (Lens and Marseille} have an equal opportunity of making it to the Champions League but my preferred team will be Lens.

What these teams need to do is fans should put pressure on the owners to sell the club and become more like PSG, as in richer.

Lyon's chance to go to Europe at least to qualify for the Conference League is actually still there, but as you said it's a very small chance. There are even other clubs that have a greater chance of getting that position, namely Rennes. The remaining matches are the problem, because Ligue 1 only has 3 weeks left to play.
Monaco itself is currently still not safe, they still need victory points to lock in their current position and participate in the Europa League next season. LOSC is shadowing them now and LOSC definitely hopes that Monaco will have bad luck in their 3 matches, and that will open up their opportunities even more.

I don't know what signing Neymar would cost right now, but it is probably not going to be pocket cash only. What is the probability that he is getting injured even often more often when playing in the Premier League compared to playing in Ligue 1? The Premier League style is what Neymar hates the most I believe. Referees are not going to protect him from hard tackles and the EPL fans will disrespect him for every dive he takes and for every second he is lying on the ground crying. The Spanish soccer suited him best.

Kane going to Manchester could make sense depending on how much Tottenham wants for him. But Manchester also has Rashford who I would like to be in top shape for a whole season. In my opinion he could also be a guy scoring 20 and more goals if he stays in great condition for a longer period of time.

Actually there is a difference between 2nd and 3rd places. The team finishing in 2nd place joins the Champions League group stage directly while the other one has to deal with qualification round. We never know what team they would face before the group stage. A tough opponent can eliminate them or even a weaker one can catch them by surprise.

As Lens aren't an experienced team in the Champions League they had better focus on finishing as the 2nd to make some good amount of money just for qualifying for the group stage.

Yeah I agree with you on the injury topic. Neymar is totally an injury-prone player and the EPL might not really be the best place for him indeed. But if he is having some in-team problems then I don't know if he would think about that too much. One time he had problems with Mbappe as Mbappe complained about Neymar's not being a disciplined player. If there are still this kind of issues then he might be okay to any top team that want him.

If I refer to the predicted line-up of these two teams, it seems that Manaco will be more inclined to dominate the match. however, if Lyon are able to align with the pattern implemented by Laurent Blanc, they will have no problems facing Monaco in tonight's game. regarding players, referring to several sources that I read. it seems that Dejan Lonver will be the main starter, but for Bradley Barcola his status is in doubt. that means, will be played or not.
