PSG was lucky to have that win yesterday against Lens, a 1-2 victory, still at the top with 10pt clear until Marseille play their game against Strasbourg which I think won't be an easy one for the second position team. Marseille need this game to reduce the point gap to 7pt at least for now till PSG meet any of the big teams even Marseille for the second leg, that would be another block buster and we know is not going to be easy too. I'd really like Marseille to not only win this game against Strasbourg but also the League title at least let PSG try again next season. It shouldn't be PSG that's always crowned as champions, another team should step up and become Champions but this can only happen if Marseille get a positive results in all their games, starting with this very game against Strasbourg tonight.

I watched the Paris Saint Germaine game at Lens yesterday and honestly speaking, I don't like the fact that the French league is so less competitive that even on their bad days, Paris Saint Germaine still manage to win games. It was a poor and boring performance from the reigning French champions who had to rely on Barcola's 86th minute goal to get steal all three points from that game.

Regardless of the result in the game involving Marseille vs Strasbourg tonight, I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop Paris Saint Germaine from winning the French league this season.

I get what you mean but as of first I included Lille and Monaco on the driver's seat to compete for the title but I later saw how poor both teams were and not for the Marseille side, they have a chance to get close to add more pressure on PSG. Currently the point gap is 10 and I'm certain that Marseille will reduce it to 7 by getting a comfortable win against Strasbourg in tonight's game so is not going to be a problem and like I said, PSG need to pass through these guys Lille, Monaco and Marseille or maybe some of the other stubborn guys to win the league which I believe won't be that easy especially the Marseille return leg (that's they haven't played it yet).

Yes you are right, even though PSG has recently shown its weakness it did not make them experience bad luck like in the previous two matches against Saint Etienne or especially against Lens which on paper is included in the category of strong teams, I think PSG was not in its best performance at that time but both teams were still unable to beat or at least managed to hold a draw. That is what makes League 1 not as competitive as other leagues because the competing teams are still far from expectations, such as Marseille which is one of the teams expected to provide resistance but still inconsistency is still their problem at this time.

Lille and Nice have ambitions to continue to climb to a better position in the league so both are very motivated to be able to win that match, besides that the composition and quality of the team are equal offer us to see an exciting match to watch.

Both teams tried their best and it was an entertaining game. They played well in that match, I can't said one club played better than the other as they both played well and deserved to win but it's either one club wins or they both draw. Lille won not as they played more than Nice but as they had an advantage which was the home advantage that they had playing in their own home stadium while Nice was visiting. Nice scored first therefore I thought they were going to win but Lille didn't give up in the game and completed their comeback with a win at the 63rd minute. Both Lille goals were scored in the second half of the game.

Well Marseille actually had this chance at some point earlier this season but they relinquished it after  their  set back, but then I still don't want to put them out completely even if they aren't close to PSG by point but they happen to have one of the best squad after  PSG by my judgement actually. Somehow  the season is close to mid season  so literally if they are persistent enough  I believe  they could  keep PSG on their  toes and a champions league spot wouldn't be a bad finish.

I must say I'm in shock to see that PSG was given 1.73 odds against Lens, I thought it would have been about 1.3 odds or even less. This is indeed a good match to bet on because the possibility of PSG beating Len is so high. This odd may be as a result of the recent matches of Len where it lost 1, drew 1 and won 3, coupled with the fact that it will be played in their home.

Either way, PSG should win and I will surely bet this match, wish me luck!

Lens has a solid defense, we can see the number of goals they have conceded this season is quite low, that might be a consideration for bookies to give quite high odds for PSG to win directly. Lens only weakness is their goal productivity, their attack is not as good as their defense, so I think if PSG play well without making mistakes, 3 points can be pocketed, but Lens must still be watched out for considering the odds @ 3.90 given to them means that any result can happen.

The first half has ended and Lens are leading 1 - 0. PSG didn't create much chances to equalise in the first half and Lens are doing their best to defend their lead. I am seeing a possible equalisation from the few chances PSG tried to create in the first half. This game might not end in 1-0.

I also would like to see a different team becoming the champions more often. However this is the bitter truth in the Ligue 1.    The gap is just huge. Not every team is owned by sheikhs you know. It is too difficult for the others to compete with PSG at the same level because of money problems. This is a thing I don't like in football honestly. If you are lucky, you get bought by rich people like them and you can build a dream team easily.

Previously we all hoped that marseille and monaco this season could provide tight resistance to prevent PSG from be championship, especially at the beginning of the season they actually has showed consistency and also very impressive performance after doing extraordinary transfers in the summer transfer market, but indeed apart from PSG there seems to be no other team that has a good enough winning mentality in Ligue 1 although they have a very good quality squad and are on par with PSG, Marseille and Monaco are slowly starting to get out of the championship race after they lost a lot of points against teams that are weaker than them, I think, PSG has been very comfortable at the top of the table with 46 points and Marseille who are ranked second will most likely be very difficult to catch them after the draw.

Marseille are better than last season if you look at the chances of the rankings this season. Marseille's consistency has not been consistent in positioning themselves as a team that can be a serious competitor for PSG. It seems that position is with Monaco who are slightly better than Marseille because for several seasons Monaco have been the team that can make PSG compete even though in the end PSG are superior as the team that lifts the trophy.
This season Marseille has a big gap in points with PSG.

I agreed with you because this is the same reason why Cristiano Ronaldo was saying that Saudi Pro League is far better than Ligue-1 and his reason was simple, he mentioned that ligue-1 is PSG while PSG is Ligue-1, he called a all league a team which I quite agree with him. PSG don't have any competitor when it comes to title contender, PSG is seen as the only best and also the most richest club in ligue-1. PSG are successful today because the have money to buy any players they want which no one in ligue-1 have the capacity to compete with them. Most of time I don't blame any team in ligue-1 that faced defeated by them but it annoyed me when they play champions league because that is the standard they always went for which is to win the Champions league and that haven't been achieved.

All the ligue one games yesterday were literally draws except for the Angers who won against their opponents who played from away and had a red card, interestingly all the scores were 1-1 and Angers had 2-0. I was just wondering why exactly it happened that all the fixtures of yesterday went that way, I hope to see some other better results.
