Lille managed to get 3 points from a difficult away game. Toulouse is not an easy opponent but this game was a must win for Lille. In the first half, the away team couldn't find a goal despite playing a pressing football. In the second half, we watched a more balanced match. In the last minutes, Lille took advantage of the positions they found and scored 2 goals and increased their points to 49.
Lens are 3-0 up against an out of form opponent. Their opponents are bad and their relegation from the league is almost certain. Lens, taking advantage of this, made no mistake and won.

You are right PSG is a funny team, the team is not balanced. They are able to perform best in League One but in other leagues like the Champions League they have performed very poorly. PSG management now needs to think hard about how to balance the team and how to correct mistakes

You are right PSG is a funny team, the team is not balanced. They are able to perform best in League One but in other leagues like the Champions League they have performed very poorly. PSG management now needs to think hard about how to balance the team and how to correct mistakes

It is not easy for psg in the Champions league. The champions league is the toughest league you can think  of. PSG is leading the French league because their are no strong teams that can challenge PSG.
The champions has many strong teams competing to get the championship.

Lille will be looking to maintain their European qualification hopes in Ligue 1 when they travel south to take on Toulouse at the Stadium de Toulouse. Lille's Conference League Qualification chances would be boosted with a win here against a Toulouse side who have picked up some form over the past couple of months with six wins and four losses in their last 11 Ligue 1 games. Lille have won just four of their last 11 but have tasted defeat just twice during that period. I see this match as a tough test for both teams.

I don't think much about these League One matches. Because I don't see the chance of any other team to do well in the way that PSG is occupying League One. But with these matches the smaller teams are training themselves more.

Moreover, the elimination of Paris Saint German from the UCL will make Christophe Galtier's team more focus on the French 1 League to defend the title that has belong to PSG for several seasons. Marseille, which was previously expected to put up a fight against Paris Saint German, is even further behind PSG in terms of points

League 1 championship for Paris SG is not a measure. According to the squad they had, Paris SG was already the champion of League 1 before the league started. Like everyone else, I think that the real success for them is UCL.  They were not successful in that either. They were eliminated this year. Now is the time for Galtier to think about what he will do next year and how he will form a squad.

PSG should be the example you give when talking about clubs that are not well run. I just don't know what goes on in their heads. A club that wants to really win in the champions league won't go around buying average players while focusing only on their attack. A team that has Neymer, Mbappe and Messi in todays football won't be able to fully strength their squad. As much as Mbappe has been beneficial to them, it would have been better they let him go to Madrid than spend that kind of money on a single player when you have a midfield that's is as awful as that. Aside how bad their midfield is, they don't have good substitutes. They do not have any player on the bench that can come in for an injured or fatigued Mbappe, Neymer, Veratti, Messi. The squad of that team is just not ready to compete and I don't believe they have the right coach for the job either.

I agree with you about Paris Saint Germain, in fact I think that if in Ligue 1 there were teams who were really on the same footing financially and in line-up I doubt they would easily win the title. What are they lacking? Financial they have very good ability, players? They have a series of star players in their squad. But that doesn't make them a very scary team.

Lens had a very impressive game against Angers home and destroyed them. They were solid in terms of passing and shots both. Angers couldn't even resist them much. Lens need to maintain an effort similar to this level if they want to keep their claim for a spot in the Champions League. They need to finish at the second spot if they want to join the group stage directly of course.

And this isn't an easy task for them at all. Because there are very challenging opponents like Marseille and Monaco aiming the same goal. Lens will just hope for exactly Marseille to lose points this week. Because their losing points will keep Lens ahead of them in the standings. As Marseille's opponent is Reims in an away match it might really happen. Will Still has been doing an incredible work so far.

The last match was supposed to be easy for Lille. By "easy" I mean winnable. They did start slow. But now they are looking good. I will still say that they are not consistent enough. At least not in my opinion. They will have to be a little more consistent to finish in the top three or two in my opinion. The point difference between them and the team in the third position is quite good. The way they are performing right now, winning one and drawing three is not going to be enough for them to reach the second or third position.

It has been another disappointing season for PSG which is considered one of the richest clubs in the world. However, that fact doesn't mean much after yet another early exit from the Champions League. PSG is the best over 2.5 goals team in Ligue 1 to no one's surprise, their matches average 3.5 goals so this PSG vs Rennes has good scoring reasoning. There is no big motivation for the team, just to end the season on a high note defending the title. Rennes, on the other hand, played 17 ‘over' matches this season, and the last time these teams met, the score was 1-0 against PSG , for now, the visiting team. In the past five matches between these teams, four of them ended with fewer than three goals scored. Rennes played four out of the last five league games with under 2.5 goals while PSG is in the middle of a seven game streak with ‘over' goals matches.

I can't completely say Galtier's failure was purely, or should we say his fault. because IMO, Galtier is a pretty unique and intelligent trainer. unfortunately, the system he implemented on his team did not go according to what he wanted. I just want to say that PSG lacks a decent midfield player. be it an attacking midfielder, or a defensive midfielder. as a result, when PSG came up against a team on par with them. often, PSG's front line cannot play optimally. because, they don't have good support from other players. in particular, the midfield sector. by the way, currently PSG will have a match against Rennes. should be, three points is the result they must get.

In the first match of the day, Monaco defeated ajaccio 2-0 away from home.They are out of the championship race but they are competing for the top 3.These 3 points are important for them.Ajaccio is in the relegation zone and they need points but they could not play against monaco.They conceded a goal in the 27th minute against a tough opponent and lost 1-0 in the first half.When they were reduced to 10 men with a red card in the 53rd minute, their chances of winning the match decreased even more.Monaco increased the difference to 2 in the last minutes and won the match.
I must say that we saw goals in the first halves of the matches played. In 4 matches, there were goals in the first half.

He did not have enough experience in Champions League and PSG is a biggest club in his career. I am sure he would feel stressful and pressure on his shoulders in PSG. In reality he failed to help PSG players at their highest capability and failed to help them going far in Champions League. Failing in Champions League always is a big minus point for any coach in PSG.

It is not a pure responsibility from a single person like Galtier but it is a responsibility of a whole team. PSG players could not play well in many Champions League seasons, not only in this one. In the past ten years, it is barely to see they went to quarter final or farther than that. Messi and Ramos did not help them to win Champions League but their results are worse in the last two seasons.

They must rebuild their squad for all three areas from attacking front-line to midfield and defensive areas. They must prioritize to buy strong central defenders and defensive midfielders that would be basement for their success in Champions League.

Lorient team are ahead in the score sheet against Nice and the question is will they be able to stop Nice unbeaten streak, i think its possible if they perform like they did in the first half it was totally one sided i haven't seen Nice perform this poorly this season.

Although the first goal was scored by the away team Brest, the team, which saw 2 goals in 8 minutes, closed the first half 2-1 down. I don't think this competition is really that popular anymore. This is mainly because PSG is already champion again with many games to play. The season that OSC Lille became champion last season was much more fun to watch. It's still a wonder how they managed to do that though. I wonder what will be left of this team next season. Messi and Mbappe who want to win the CL one day. This is also a long time ago for Messi. Mbappe has never won it. The only 2 teams that are possibly better than Bayern Munich and City. It is not the coach's fault, he has made his team play better than last season.

They are about 10 points or something above anyone else in the league and that means they are not going to give this title to anyone, they will be the eventual champions. I get that there could be some times where they could end up losing, it's football in the end and anyone can lose but they are so far ahead that even one loss doesn't really matter all that much.

This is why I believe that we should be giving the title chances to them, 1.01 odds and all that. I hope that we could see PSG do better in UCL in the future, maybe not this neymar-messi era and when they are gone because Mbappe is young and will continue to play even after them.

This season lens performance is very interesting. There was a time they were at first position that they couldn't maintain  to remain to lead. If lens can maintain the second position to get a spot in the Champions league it will be achievement this season.
It was so easy for lens to beat anger.
