Can this be a chance for Marseille to catch up with PSG again? I don't think so honestly. Because PSG are still a huge favourite for the title as long as they have a squad like this. I must say especially Messi, Mbappe and Neymar of course. I don't think PSG would maintain a bad form for a long time either. Because they have already been eliminated in the Champions League.
The Ligue 1 is their only focus now. They can't play very complacent from now on if they don't wany any surprise to happen later on. Marseille would do their best at least for securing their current position. It is important to finish in top 2 to join the CL groups directly.

Losing to Rennes also won't change anything for PSG because the PSG team can still be at the top of the standings with a distance of 7 points from Marseille and for now PSG is still not weak in Ligue 1 even though they have been eliminated from the Champions League this season and for next season PSG is only need to fix some weaknesses in order to be able to compete again in the Champions League because in Ligue1 PSG is still a very strong number one team.

the difference in points for PSG is still in their favor. even though they lost a few times, they still wouldn't be swept off the top of the table. but I believe PSG will not want to repeat the 2020-2021 season. they only have 1 point difference with their challenger. and PSG finally lost in the race for the title. there are still about 10 matches, if PSG is careless, Marseille can snatch the top position of the standings from PSG.

I'm sure almost all of his supporters think the same thing as you, even all of us here who know PSG, which has been seen as a scary club where there are lots of great players there. but it looks like having great players doesn't necessarily prove that the PSG club is a scary club, especially since the failure in the UCL and yesterday's defeat against rennes, but I believe PSG will fix that and their defeat yesterday did not change their position, in fact they will still be at the top of the standings until end of season

The truth about PSG is they just have money and nothing else. You can't just spend money and expect to get a good result, financial power is definitely important for any team but that's not all, you need to know how to spend the money and which player is good enough to get hired also the player you bough need to know how to work together and they need a good manager to help them how to get the results you expect from them, otherwise, money can't solve everything.

I think it is important to focus on the fact that we are talking about a situation where it is not going to be an issue for a long time, and Marseille will not be a problem for PSG, they will just keep on winning until the season is over and get the title.

I must admit that it was a really amazing run by Reims in the league. But it lasted until facing Marseille home I'm afraid. I mean Reims had an unbeaten series of seventeen matches. It is never easy to do with an average team like Reims. If we call teams like Marseille, Monaco etc. as average then Reims are even below them technically.

However it is still up to how good the management of the team is at the same time. This young (30-year-old) manager Will Still has done a great job with the squad he has in his hands. Reims have had good conditions in the last few games, it's just that Marseille are clearly better than them.

@Kro55 the head coach of PSG will definitely be sacked once the season ends, because not only did PSG exit the champions league but on and off the pitch also it’s clear to see that he’s failed to unite the player’s hence his sacking is inevitable. Lastly for the next season I feel that PSG should hire a more experienced coach, and trim down their star player’s squad and retain only those that actually want to play for PSG and not be there for just collecting large sum of money.
