If you ask me if they will be able to win the Champions League this season then I will answer that they will not be able to win it. Their chances of winning are no greater than any other club that is better prepared than Paris Saint Germain. There are several names that are allegedly going to win the title, one of which is defending champion Manchester City, Real Madrid and other clubs that are better prepared than Paris Saint Germain.
Indeed, they still have a chance, but how big is their chance? that is the question. And I think we will have the same thoughts about Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League.

For this season, I agree with you regarding PSG chances of winning the European Champions League, plus the other fact that PSG is even having difficulty getting through the group phase because they are in group F, which is known as the Hell group. Likewise with their performance in Ligue 1, they are still missing the balance to top the points table where they usually occupy. For this season, PSG can't talk much, it seems, club officials, management and coaches seem to be more busy with their efforts to keep Mbappe from moving to another club.

Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen and Inter Milan have better chances than PSG this season, I think the UCL this time will present a new dark horse. All clubs will try to achieve maximum results, surprises seem to occur more often in the group phase because the clubs that were previously favorites to qualify for the last 16 are currently having difficulty.

The best thing to do in that case would be the fact that Mbappe could leave and the team would not have that much different result.

Even though the available odds show that Lyon is the favorite to win, it still doesn't seem like it will be easy for Lyon to win the match against Clermont. But indeed, at least with Lyon playing at home and also, at least Lyon still has a better goal productivity record compared to Clermont, then these factors also mean that Lyon can be projected to win. Accumulating just 2 points in R7 games played this season, a very discouraging result for the team. Perhaps there's chances for them to bounce back to winning ways this season. Clermont scoring a draw points with Paris Saint-Germain doesn't make them a strong team because they're weigh below the requirements of Ligue One competitive race. They will be relegated they do not buckle up and bounce back to streak winning of games.

Both Monaco and Nice will miss points whether by draw or by losing some games. That's sure in my opinion. The important thing is PSG dropping points as much as these teams doing in order to see a new winner in Ligue 1.
Points difference are less than 3 points between the three teams. Nice will play vs Marseille which is quite challenging game. Monaco will face Metz and are expected to win. If PSG win their match against Strasbourg then they might end 2nd.

Even though in the first few matches it was very good when PSG could not do much, especially when their goal productivity was problematic this could be utilized better but unfortunately Nice and Monaco could not do that even though their current position was above PSG but the difference in points was still very little.
Next week Monaco and PSG will face a fairly easy match because Monaco will only play Metz and PSG faces Strasbourg but it's different with Nice because they will have a Bigmatch with Marseille. It could be that the points change back in week 9 which will be held in a few days.

Clermont Foot got a good chance to even beat Lyon in this match because compared to the other teams like PSG, Lyon is not a strong team to stand against a team like Clermont Foot.
I think Clermont's defensive power is also very high and the chance for Lyon to score goals in this game is not high at all considering the forwards they have.

Because we are still at the start of the season, there is no need to think too much about the position on the standings. I'm also actually quite amazed by NICE's performance so far, they are still unbeaten while Monaco and PSG have each lost once.

but on matchday 9, NICE's opponent is Marseille, of course this is not an easy match for them to face, if NICE manages to win then it is very likely that they will be able to shift Monaco's position for a while, yes I support what you say, consistency is the key competition for the top 3 in Ligue 1.

They just need to maintain their best form to stay ahead of PSG because if Monaco and Nice fail to do so, it's possible that PSG will return to the top of the standings in the coming weeks. Moreover, the difference in points is close enough that it can be said that just 1 match can change their position in the standings table. Looking at Monaco's performance this season, of course they are performing better compared to last season, in fact their best achievement is staying at the top of the standings until this season enters its 9th match this week.

Apart from that, PSG lost the balance of their best performance this season because in several matches they failed to get points. Nice is probably better than any team in Ligue 1 up to match 8 of this season because they have never tasted defeat.

And right now they have already been able to get a lot of legends in there. So young players are what they need right now. that's why there was such a big offering.

I think I would put such a transfer first in terms of its influence on the league and on other players around the world. Ronaldo going there was ushering in a new era for sure, but he was old already and everyone thought the obvious: he is going there to make a ton of cash, have an easy life while still breaking records in an inferior league. Mbappe going there would be more influential because he would break with a principle that still seems to be meaningful and that is younger players still value their career over money. But Mbappe going there could be like a signaling to all other younger talents, which in reality is what the Saudi Professional League wants to achieve and he would be the perfect player to get closer to this goal. Until now it has been difficult for clubs from Saudi Arabia to convince younger players to go there.

A Champions League title can change the transfer plans of Kylian Mbappe. The club might decide to give him a more lucrative contract that might make him reconsider his position. But I also think that Mbappe is also in search of personal achievement. I feel that one of the reasons why Real Madrid is his first choice is because a player can easily win the Ballon d’Or. It is also possible that he could also win it if he helped PSG to win the prestigious trophy.

But as we all know the Champions League is still in the group stage and the performance of the French outfit is not encouraging. The club have been struggling to establish itself as the true favourite of Group F, having lost a game and won one. But from Mbappe's blatant refusal to sign a new contract, one can just assume that he is no longer interested in playing in the Ligue One, maybe he needs a new challenge somewhere else. Another section of the media believes that he has already entered an unofficial agreement with Real Madrid, so will definitely join them next season.  

I would actually say that Mbappé should leave PSG regardless of the achievement of PSG. Even if PSG somehow manages to win the Champions League, I think he should leave. Because if he does end up staying, he's going to be stuck again.

Again, it is going to be a matter of time before he thinks that he needs to leave the club. He is just too confused. Let me tell you, if he does not leave after this season, it is going to be a problem for him in the future. And he is for sure not going to be able to have a legacy which he could have if he went to Real Madrid.

Monaco will face Metz while we all know this game won't be a hard game for them and that's sad for a team like PSG because they have to wait and hope to see a mistake from Monaco and Nice to take their place but the next game for Monaco against Metz is an easy game for them and we know Monaco will not lose any points in this match.

Metz have loss last three matches in a row on Ligue 1 and they have bad performed in this season by winning 2 of 8 matches, last winning match is last month ago against Lens. Contrast performed with AS Monaco who managed top position standing awhile and I think @1.35 odds is too bigger for AS Monaco are favorable teams for winning against relegation teams Metz.
AS Monaco won't loss three points actually with home match have advantage easily for defeating Metz and keep secure their first standings position from Nice and PSG.
AS Monaco have won last two matches in a row and looks confidence for getting three points from Metz and not really difficult defeat team on relegation zone.
