But IMO PSG really needed Mbappe's contribution in UCL last season. Well, that's the problem that is currently looking bad for PSG losing a mainstay player without getting a replacement with equal skills even though they initially wanted to recruit Osimhen but the rejection made PSG look more worrying. I think that's where the coach has to work very closely with the management to identify a player that can fill in the space left by Mbappe. There is no doubt that Mbappe absence is going to leave a big void in their squad, but that doesn't mean that the club should fold because Mbappe is no longer there.
