As always, a very impressive performance in the French league. It's great to see Ousmane Dembélé getting back into his form. it's a treat to watch him playing and scoring, but there's always the worry of him getting injured. anyway it seems like the French team is doing well in their rebuilding process under Luis after the international break. We're all hoping this French giant carries the same energy into the Champions League and getting closer the success they've been aiming for.

Paris Saint Germaine extended their start to the new season with a powerful win against Brest yesterday in the French league with Ousmane Dembele scoring a brace in that game as he continues to improve on his prolificity. Luis Enrique is doing exceptionally well with his men at moment and considering their performances so far, I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop them from retaining the French league title this season.

Like you rightly said, they'll host Spanish club Girona at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday as they kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign. Many people especially fans of the French champions are hoping that Paris Saint Germaine will continue their impressive start to the new season in the UEFA Champions League and against Girona, I expect PSG to get all three points from the game

It seems that Mbappe's absence is not felt in the league. Maybe they will feel this absence in the UCL matches, but Mbappe did not start brightly in Real Madrid either. It seems like he did not make that big of an impact. Of course, Paris can bring in players to replace him. The French league is suitable for this. I am really curious about PSG in the UCL matches. This season PSG are still unbeaten in the four games they have played in Ligue 1 and I also hope that PSG can bring their full strength to a more prestigious competition like the Champions League because the target with the real goal that they should aim for this season is to be able to win the Champions League and not just win Ligue 1. Because PSG are still considered the kings in Ligue 1 including this season because the squad that is still coached by Enrique is starting to improve this season.

The big hope for PSG is obviously to succeed in the Champions League, because even without Mbappe, PSG is still a strong team in Ligue 1. Perhaps, with the current squad PSG can really get good results in the Champions League too because of course, PSG coaches also have a lot of experience in the Champions League and thus, it looks like PSG has a  good chance in the Champions League too this sesaon. So I will bet PSG to win this match.

I think it was a big surprise that Saint Etienne won, considering their possession rate. They only had 28% possession, but the team defended well and managed to get the three points. This win against Lille was very important because getting three points from a much stronger team than them must have given them confidence for the rest of the season. Now they will try to get points against weaker teams and focus on staying in the league.

I agree with you that we were surprised by the outcome of this match. Due to the good performance of Lille's players in the whole match, Saint Etienne gained 3 points from the match. Saint Etienne took the lead with a goal just 6 minutes into the match. And after that the Saint Etienne players tried to keep their defense tight. Since Saint Etienne played defensively, Lille's players could not break down Saint Etienne's defence. But Lille's players put in a lot of effort. After winning the first two matches, Lille lost two consecutive matches.

Luis Enrique proved once again that he is capable of building a very strong squad. And consistently this team is able to perform well. PSG have dominated and won every match in the league. PSG also won 3-1 against Brest. PSG scored a total of 16 goals in 4 matches and conceded only 3 goals. But I am looking forward to see how PSG players perform in the Champions League.

When it comes to PSG, they didn't have a very difficult job either. Maybe they conceded the first goal but I don't think the people who bet on their win got worried too much. Because we have all seen how they started. 

Lastly Marseille... They looked really decent with that 2-0 win. It is entertaining to watch their football so far honestly. I hope they can stay in the title race with PSG. Wouldn't it be fun to add some excitement into it?

Not been consistent was a challenge I foresaw with Marseille and sometimes ago I mentioned it, now meeting PSG who happens to the tough team in the ligue 1 has now made clear certain weaknesses around Marseille that may need some attention such that if others could take Note of it just before Marseille fix it, they could get a point or three from them too. This shouldn't be a write off for Marseille anyways because in the long run, Marseille Amy later turn out a tough opposition to PSG and the title contention may get way more intensed.

But don't forget that they put over a billion euros into the team in the last few years while the other teams are never even close to having invested half a billion euros.

Let's wait for the matches and see whether Girona is able to step up their game. I think there is a lot to be expected from them.

Girona is actually not a team that always competes in La Liga, in fact this is the first time they have been able to feel the atmosphere of the Champions League after they performed well last season. But I myself am not sure they will be able to continue their performance like last season.

In La Liga itself this season they have played 5 matches and from those 5 matches they have experienced 2 defeats and 1 draw. Clearly this is a bad start for them, so once again I am not sure about them in the Champions League this season.
However, this will be a very extraordinary experience for them, because they can feel how the competition is in the Champions League. Hopefully they will be more motivated when they feel the atmosphere of playing in Europe's highest competition.

Today's match of Lens vs Lyon team was a draw. Both teams tried hard from the beginning to the end but couldn't score any goals. The performance of the players of Lens team was not very good so Lens team didn't score any goals. I thought that Lens team might have won.  This match can be won but the performance of Lyon team players was good for which Lens team could not score any goal. Lens team did very well in the previous matches but I did not think that they will do this in today's match.

Marseille acquired an important player with the transfer of Rabiot. We know that they want the championship this year. However, their opponents are PSG. When we consider this, it is obvious that their chances are not very high, but they still want to be in the race. Everything has gone very well for PSG so far. From Marseille's perspective, they only have one draw and three wins. So they started the league very well. If they continue really well, maybe they can leave PSG behind in the league.

None of us here doubt PSG ability to win the ligue 1 so far, what happened last season may not be different from what happened this season and PSG will certainly leave their rivals at the end of the season with a considerable margin, but even so if we pay attention there are several other teams that can actually give tight competition at the beginning of the season to PSG, but as the season progresses inconsistency becomes a problem main from other teams of those who have made PSG able to run alone so far in the league, this season we have seen how PSG can destroy teams like Lille and Brest who we hope can make PSG lose points but actually PSG is still too strong for them, the only team that we hope to give PSG trouble is Marseille this season, Although the probability of happening is very small, the quality of the squad currently owned by Marseille may at least be a stumbling block for PSG in winning the league this season.

Marseille this season has made a lot of improvements in their squad by recruiting de zerbi as a coach, in addition to the change of coach, of course we can see how they managed to recruit players such as elye wahi, Rulli, greenwood, holjburg, and even the current Rabiot who is getting closer to joining Marseille, in addition to PSG I think this season Marseille is a team that has a good squad depth and can be expected to break PSG dominance in league.

For Lens themselves, this is their second draw after they also had to taste a draw in the previous week. They are still one of four teams that have not tasted defeat until week 4. Hopefully they will be consistent in being able to compete at the top of the standings to fight for the championship title.

I agree with you, Mbappé was never the problem of PSG, even before Mbappé got to PSG they've been the most outstanding team in the league 1 so and as one of the richest club in the world the team is capable of maintaining a very good squad yearly, with or without Mbappé's presence,  you're also right to say the opponents in the Ligue 1 are not a very tough one for PSG infact their was a point before Mbappe's time in the team when they dominated for several years with many points gap ahead of other teams, and we could see that happening again this season cause this is Enrique's second season with them, he've understand his players and even adopted a better mechanism like you said to help them improve let's not forget that theirs an upgrade in that squad that should make them win comfortably without Mbappé and even though Mbappé didn't decide to switch to Madrid they'll still be doing better so let nobody center PSG's previous misfortune on Mbappé cause with our without him the squad of PSG is expected to do better this season.

Mbappe was not the problem of PSG but he was a distraction. When a player receives special treatment from the club management and the coaching crew, it could bring disaffection among players. Other players might feel less important which makes them less motivated. Since his departure, the spotlight has moved to other players. We are seeing players like Ousmane Dembélé and Achraf Hakimi taking up responsibility.

I didn't expect Brest to beat PSG because both clubs are not in the same class. Don't forget that PSG is still the biggest spender in the Ligue One, so they are still expected to dominate the league. The main test for PSG will be when they meet Olympique de Marseille or Monaco. These teams have spent reasonably on players and coaches and can give the defending champion a good fight.

Reportedly currently Rabiot is still in the negotiation stage to be able to join Marseille soon, there are still several more documents that must be completed by Marseille to immediately complete Rabiot's transfer in the near future, as an experienced midfielder, of course Rabiot's arrival to Marseille will be able to improve Marseille's performance this season, especially since they have previously brought in many good players such as Greenwood and also Elye Wahi,  So I think the arrival of Rabiot will at least be a good support for the Marseille attackers later, but seeing the amount of salary that Rabiot got previously at Juventus, maybe the arrival of Rabiot will also break the record as the highest-paid player in Marseille later.  

In addition to PSG, Marseille is currently the second team that is quite consistent in ligue 1, so we hope to see the two teams can provide a tight competition in the title race this season, although it is difficult to beat PSG but I think if Marseille is able to remain consistent and can minimize the loss of points in every match, then it is not impossible for them to be able to be title contenders this season, especially since the possibility of PSG losing still exists remembering the busy schedule that PSG have.
