I'm not sure about the standings to change again anytime soon... Because PSG looked really different against Marseille. Much better than all of their league matches recently.

While it's true that defending UCL would be very difficult, it is not going to require extra attention. Ligue 1 will be theirs and while Lens is doing a fine job, it is not really that difficult and we could see them have the title without trying too much.

Yes Lens are good, and yes PSG had to win many games in a row to keep at the first place but that doesn't mean Lens will continue to do this. Plus PSG doesn't even work that hard to win these games, they get the wins even when they are not playing at their full force. This is why I honestly expect them to have a good result one way or another in most cases and we should be seeing them do a great job and could definitely get UCL focus they have instead of the league.

Lens are still playing well, and they're still very close to PSG, just two points behind. PSG also have two extra games against Monaco, which could play into Lens's hands, but only if Enrique decides to rotate his squad in the upcoming matches. I think Enrique is also hoping for a late-season slump for Lens, but it's best not to count on it and keep winning. PSG's next match is against Rennes, who are currently on a four-game losing streak, it seems like it should be an easy one for PSG, but the most important thing is for Rennes not to end their losing streak against PSG.

PSG is gradually getting back to form and this could be seen in the way that PSG scored goals this past weekend.With their injured players coming back to the PSG starting lineup I hope PSG will continue to dominate ligue as they has been doing since. PSG should continue to maintain this type of form if they have to win the league because there is more competition this season compared to other seasons where there were no oppositions from other teams.

I love watching them play like that, it makes the bet I made on them to win feel so safe. With the result in the last match, they re-confirmed their position in the Ligue 1 standings. Having 2 points difference that's not far from Lens, but I still believe they will win Ligue 1 as is their tradition.

This season teams are trying to be more serious and intentional about winning the league so PSG has to raise their game standard but beyond the league title, PSG has to do well when it comes to the champions League. As the defending champions of the champions League PSG should get there hands on deck to sure that they make it to st least the finals of the champions League title.

In UCL, they entered the play-off & faced their league team (AS Monaco), referring to AS Monaco current performance in Ligue 1, I think it's impossible for AS Monaco to beat Paris Saint-Germain.

Awesome achievement of Lens this season has teams without full star players such as PSG but success dominance in Ligue 1 by leading top position standings for several week, currently dropped to 2nd place but still giving pressure for PSG behind 2 points remaining and has chance back to first standings if can beat PSG at few weeks 29. Great advantage for Lens because will face PSG at home match and its chance if get consistent performance for several matches later and not loss points yet for both teams will be the final match for winning Ligue 1.

I don't blame with Lens opportunity for winning Ligue 1 tittle although PSG is most dominance team and having full top talent players but two points gap can't guarantee yet PSG will back to back winning the Ligue 1 tittle again.

I don't think they only have top players or at least i don't think that's enough, clearly to win League One its clearly a big advantage to have very strong players and PSG knows this well, having such strong players in the squad is certainly an advantage and that's what they do.

This means Lens still has a great chance to win the Ligue 1 title and disrupt PSG's dominance. It seems the key is just one thing: Lens must be able to beat PSG and win in the remaining matches of the season. It looks like Lens will face PSG in April. If Lens continues to perform consistently like this, I believe they can win the championship if they can defeat PSG or at least draw.

I really applaud Lens and Marseille that stand to challenge PSG but unfortunately it wasn't a good way for Marseille, because pSG has shown them their own way, with the result of their match against each other, I was totally surprised to see that results because I even consider Marseille than Lens when it comes to threat for PSG but at this level I was wrong.

Lens are now behind with two points different but despite that I don't have confidence for them because PSG are very strong andeka Crush anything that comes their way, despite they are not in a good condition based on last season's performance.

So, if they underestimate every match in Ligue 1 it's possible they could end up like Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga when Leverkusen won the trophy, or like Leicester City who won the EPL trophy. Therefore, Enrique must motivate his players to avoid underestimating opponents which can cost them points in crucial matches. PSG currently hold a two-point lead over Lens. If Lens can overtake PSG once again Lens' morale will continue to rise. So, I believe there are always miracles in football.

PSG is a big club and everyone fears them, everyone knows they can do very well, but that doesn't mean that this will make PSG underestimate Lens and i also think this, never underestimate the opponent, i don't think is wise for them to do so but i think they already know this, now they have to concentrate and remove the threat since Lens is still there.

PSG know who to focus on and who to test against, if they were inexperienced in this regard, we might not have seen PSG dominate Ligue 1. Especially this season, Lens has been threatening PSG so far and PSG is still in a vulnerable position for Lens. PSG will definitely hold the league 1 again and again this season, even though Lens is fighting very hard I doubt they will be able to catch up until the end of the season, PSG is different, league 1 is destined for him, no matter how hard they chase I don't think they will ever be able to beat PSG to become champions in a matter of seasons, I see it as normal, just like Dembele usually plays, he always performs well when the game opportunities are easier for him to chase, but when he is in an uncomfortable state, he never drops far from his best performance.

Tomorrow PSG are playing against Rennes away. I don't see any big challenge for them here honestly. Rennes are just in a horrible condition these days. 4 games of winless streak and they lost their last 3 games...

Therefore I don't expect the lead to change hands. Lens also have an easy game to play by the way. I assume they wouldn't mess up away against Paris FC. They should be able to keep 2 points behind the leader.

The only possible way that we can see ANY competition in Ligue 1 in the future would be Paris FC trying to get a lot more money into the team. They are not allowed to just put billions right away, but the more they are allowed, the more they will put in and that will make the team better.

Obviously this also depends on the talent they bring in, because if they just spend a lot of money but get terrible players that won't be good at all, but if they do spend a lot of money and get the best players then we could actually see them do better. Money is the only way you can fight against PSG and the only team that has even remotely enough money to do this is now Paris FC, who can't put it all at once, but gradually they "may" do that.

Paris Saint-Germain is one of the strongest teams in Europe starting from France and going east, along with Bayern Munich of course. Otherwise comparing to some teams in Spain and England, the level of PSG this season is way low than them.
PSG trashed Marseille badly in yesterday's match. If this means something then it is Marseille weakness rather than PSG power. Osman Dembele presence in this game was obvious, he let kill the game since the first half of it.

PSG's victory against Marseille was expected, but we saw more than the desired result. They may have ended the bad form they have been going through in the last few days yesterday. Maybe they are preparing for the Champions League matches and will try to do something great in the knockout matches this season, like last season. Now in the Champions League it is more important for them to make a big difference than winning matches, yesterday was probably that preparation. However, it was an easy match for PSG.

Olympique de Marseille football team played bad against Paris Saint-Germain football team because they could not do first goal of the match and opponent team did back to back goals in this match and pressure was on Olympique de Marseille football team . Dembélé was a person who did 2 goals in this match which was appreciated because that was need of the team in this match. The shots of Paris Saint-Germain football team were more in this match and these were 21 in this match and 7 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was excellent in this match which was 56 percent in this match.Lee  was a person who did last goal of the match and he did this goal at 74 minutes and that goal was in second half of the match.

So their most realistic option now is to maintain their position at the top of Ligue 1 and ensure they don't lose any of their remaining matches, as Lens are closing in on them and could cut them off if they lose. At the very least, they could win the Ligue 1 trophy this season.

Lens never crossed my mind to be a team of a major concern in the league this season but they have given us a good reason to support them even more because of their performance and what they are trying to achieve this season as a major contender for the championship with PSG, is a good thing to see them rise to take the challenge and I hope they maintain their performance till when they will play PSG because that moment will decide who will win the league. Before them they have to keep getting more winning so they will not go far for PSG to win the league comfortably.

Retaining the Champions League trophy is extremely difficult and this is where a club's level is tested to the utmost. Every season in the Champions League, strong teams with extensive experience emerge, although sometimes we see teams like PSG achieving their first championship there. Winning the Ligue 1 trophy won't be much of a problem for PSG as they are still the favorites in terms of quality. Although Lens previously led the standings after a defeat, PSG retook first place. PSG's difficulty isn't competing in Ligue 1, but defending the Champions League title as their current strength may be slightly different from last season.

On paper, PSG should have little trouble beating Rennes. But from a betting POV, it’s not always easy to lock in the right and most profitable pick. Recent H2H meetings have consistently gone over 3.5 goals, which makes that market tempting once again. Still, today’s outcome really depends on who starts for PSG. If Enrique fields his strongest XI, another over 3.5 game is definitely on the cards.

For now, I’m weighing a couple of options and will likely go with one of them. Even if Rennes lose, I believe they can at least get on the scoresheet.

PSG solved the issues that comes with inconsistency, now they have almost every injured player back and ready,  this is that time of the season when they go on to do more than 8 wins in a row and win the league one competition with 10 points ahead already. I love the demolishing of Marseille, there's no better way to crush an inconsistent opponent. Result of that game might have also see the manager De zebri being sacked. He couldn't even take a full season. Finally, what I will love to see is PSG winning the Champions League competition again.

In my opinion PSG can definitely do much more than this, what they are doing is definitely a 10% test of their current possibilities, the players are really strong and even if they are injured they always play excellent games and above all they win and this is a fact seeing as they are now first.

French Ligue 1 is going to be exciting in this season due to good performance from Lens and Lyon, both are doing good job creating challenges for leaders PSG. At the end of 21st round, PSG leading from Lens by 2 points while Lyon is having difference of 9 points which is big.

If there is no injury issue then surely PSG is going to be staying at top while their chances are also high in Champions league for staying at top levels. Marseille is really suffering, and they are not having enough chances for challenging PSG and Lens, but they will try their best for having 3rd spot which is also not easy, but fight will be going on till end of last match. Few big teams are suffering but inconsistency is also always part of league which brings things unpredictable.

In last season, RC Lens ended at 8th spot where few teams were at top spots which are always normal but in this season, teams like Nice, Monaco and Strasbourg are badly suffering while Lyon done good job, now have 3rd spot with Marseille which ended at 2nd spot now at 4th spot.

Consistency is always problem here due to lack of quality players, mostly clubs failed to bring good players, they are having not enough sources just few top clubs are having enough funds to stay on good level, this problem need to be fixed because this can bring good competitiveness in this league which is important. PSG is always dominating yet few teams are always challenging them but failing in consistency compared to PSG.
