Yep, Lens have reclaimed the first spot in the Ligue 1 again after they crushed Paris Fc with Five goals to none last night.

I think Lens are really ready for this challenge..they’re now one point ahead of PSG and with the crisis with PSG, if not solved then they can still continue remain at the top if they stay consistent in winning their upcoming games.

PSG needs to solve their internal issues or differences if they really want to still win the Ligue 1 this season, they’ll face Metz who are at the bottom of the league in their next Ligue 1 game and they should be able to work together to grab the three points in that game.

As expected, Lens didn't waste the opportunity that PSG presented to them by losing points yesterday, they won their game today and are now the new leader of the league table.
After PSG dominated last seasons, it's refreshing to see another club giving them serious competition this year.

Despite the 5-0 result, Paris FC had their moments too, they dominated in ball possession and made more shots on goal, but, at the end of the day, the only stat that matters is goals.

This is the first time the French Ligue 1 title race has looked interesting to me. In past seasons, by this time, PSG would be on top of the table, and the gap with the second team would be large. This time around it is different. A few weeks ago, when Lens dropped to second place after losing to Marseille, they kept on chasing, and it's good to see them back on top.

Lens managed to have a big party when playing away at Paris home ground, successfully securing 3 points at the opponent's headquarters made Lens successfully reclaim the top position of the Ligue 1 standings from PSG. This season, Lens has emerged as a dark horse in Ligue 1, and they must maintain their top form if they want to break PSG dominance and achieve great success at the end of the season. In recent years, no team has managed to stop PSG from finishing in first place. I hope Lens can repeat Leverkusen story in the Bundesliga. You statement sounds confusing because you already see that PSG is dropping points and this is the second time Lens is going back to the top of the table ahead of PSG do you intend to see PSG losing up to 3 matches in a row before you could believe that it's becoming impossible for them to dominate the league? Lens is a big threat to PSG this season, they are doing wonders in their performance and with their recent form if they maintain the consistency don't be surprised if they break the history by winning the league ahead of PSG.

Lens took full advantage of the opportunity and secured a huge 5-0 win in the match. With 3 points in this match, lens is now at the top of the table. If Lens can continue this winning streak then PSG will not be able to occupy the top spot in the table.
I guess the top spot in the table will be occupied by lens till April 12th. Lens will host PSG on April 12. If Lens is able to win in this match, then there is a big possibility that they will win Ligue 1 this time. The lens is in very good shape. They have all the qualifications to be champions. In 22 matches they scored 42 goals and conceded only 17 goals.

An end of an era for Marseille with De Zerbi... It lasted less than 2 years actually. After Marseille didn't manage to be competitive enough this season I guess the board just wanted to look for new adventures.

De Zerbi is normally not a bad manager in my opinion. He finished last season at the 2nd position. I think it is a little bit harsh to sack him because of dropping down to the 4th position.

The season was still going on in the end. Top 3 qualify for Champions League directly and they aren't far from there.

Oh, I think you just messed everything up. First of all, Paris FC separated from PSG and are now a full fledged league 1 team like the rest. Second of all, Lenz didn't play against PSG yesterday, but Paris FC. You think the current UEFA champions League winners can just fold like that to a 5-0 straight win defeat, without even trying anything possible? That will be a nightmare for them as many teams have evolved to overtake anyone who's soft on the spot.

This is very Impressive from Lens, I know they have been working towards winning the title this season as much as possible and so far it is looking like they may get it if PSG rest in their backs, I see that lens is really up to something this season, their performance in this game is not one that should be over looked for any reason seeing the dominance and possession, they have chances in the title race.

This should be an easy win for Lens as they are playing against a weaker team who sit at 15 on the league table. Paris FC had only manage to win just match In it's last five games. For a committed and focus team like Lens who is looking forward in claiming the league title from the long run champion (PSG), I think Paris FC should not be an hinderance to his success.

I thought PSG would be able to continue their winning streak for a  long time and also occupy the top spot of the table. But psg stumbled in the away match against rennes. PSG  lost 3-1 . It is difficult to accept such a result. PSG had 69 % ball possession. They also attacked more. But even then they could not score more than one goal. The poor performance of PSG's defenders is one of the reasons for their defeat. If lens can win the away match against Paris today, they will be able to occupy the top spot of  the table. But if the match is drawn, psg  will be at the top of the table.

Lens did it yesterday, proving to us to be capable. The margin was much, imagine 5-0. I never expect such a huge win from Lens. Now they are sitting on the top. I believe Lens will try their best to stay at the top for long even if they may later fuck up at the end to lose the trophy to PSG. Lens has made this league so challenging for PSG this season.

No one expected that, but what happened to PSG at Rennes really surprised many, as they lost 3-1 to the home team. Meanwhile, Lens has started winning away games convincingly by much larger margins, and now they're back at the top of the table, although the goal difference remains. And now the competition in Ligue 1 is starting to get fierce again for the remainder of the season, as PSG will continue to do their best to return to the top, even though the conditions are not easy.

I mean even a good team ends up losing with unlucky game sometimes, but this wasn't even that, this was straight up being worse than your opponent and that is what nobody expected. Rennes got a comfortable 3-1 victory over PSG and they looked like the better team all game long.

PSG thought that if they kept the possession then they could be better, but Rennes just had super fast counter attacking and won the game with ease. There is something wrong with PSG, at least in this game there was.
