I don't think that Lens stand a chance in this title race anymore because despite having two outstanding games, PSG still leads by one point and PSG is also in a better form as we speak. So whether win or loss in the two outstanding games, they will still be at the top. Lens lost so many opportunities to close the gap of which I don't think that there will be a second chance for them as they still have a game to play with PSG. One thing I like about this season is the competitive nature and PSG as a team has felt the heat from lens this season.

PSG is in the Uefa Champions League semi final already and will be playing Bayern Munich. If they make it to the finals, I strongly believe they will beat any of Athletical Madrid or Arsenal to win the champions League in a back to back style.

When it comes to Marseille they have a good record of dropping points whenever they feel like and as I make this post they are losing to a side that on a normal day they should be at without struggling as they are now, a clear favorite in this encounter but could not show that sign of dominance. Lorient only have one job to do now and that is to hold on to the ball and delay the game, frustrate the Marseille players to continue foul them till the final whistle. How can the Ligue 1 be more competitive if we always see such display from top teams in this league?

I didn't follow up this particular match but from the score line one can tell that they were very lucky and narrowly escaped defeat, Toulouse scored the first two goals and if not that they were a man down, maybe they would've scored more before or after the first half. Well Lens did well by taking advantage of Toulouse's misfortune.

 Some teams would've still lost even when they're playing against an opponent that's one man down, I've seen that happen severally that's why I think Lens tried. Maybe if Toulouse had tried to attack few more times after their player was sent off, they would've been lucky to score another goal but it's obvious they tried to defend their goals and ended up losing the match. I doubt that PSG would allow Lens overtake them.

I wish Marseille focused on their game more than changing their logo.    I'm afraid this is their 3rd loss on the last 5 weeks in the league. But at least they are lucky about one thing this week.

You also need to praise the Lens players for taking the advantage of the misfortune of their opponent to score goals if it was to be some teams the best result they would have achieved would be a draw but they kept on asking questions in the box of Toulouse until they got the last goal which came before the final whistle. It was a very close call for Lens. They almost lost points to Toulouse but turned things around in the stoppage time and ened up with 3 points.
If the game ended in a draw, that would likely be the end of their chances of winning the league, but those 3 points allow them to keep the hope alive.

PSG are in good form and have a chance to qualify for the final. All four teams that have qualified for the  semi-finals are strong  and each one has the potential to be the champion.

We should not have too much expectation on Atletico madrid. I know the team is strong. They were able to perform well against barcelona as well. But the overall performance of the team is  not consistent. Atletico madrid lost against Real Sociedad in the copa del rey match yesterday. They gave their all to win. Even then, atletico could not win. So we can not give any guarantee that we will not see their irregular performance in the champions league as well.

Very funny 🤣. If changing of logos and jerseys would bring trophies I believe Marseille would have been competing seriously for titles but see how poor they perform, having a good run at the beginning of the season only to end up losing easy games, base on the quality players they have, yet nothing. If all these teams had taken this fight so serious I don't think club like Lorient Paris and some other smaller teams would be giving them a hard time, that is why we see PSG using all the smaller teams to accumulate points. Another thing Marseille have done this season is beating PSG in the first meeting and that should be their trophy so the other games don't matter.
Lyon too is another problem, even if Lyon plays against one of the weakest team they're going to struggle, before the kick off of the game you'd think Lyon will come out tough and aggressive, give it time you'd see begging for a draw but in this case is PSG, can they even do anything from the start of the game to the end? We can't say and we know how it will end unless something miraculous happens. Rennes vs Strasbourg is never an easy one, for me I have to go for a draw because both teams have same strength to match whatever each of them are bringing.

I don't really know about the thing happening to Monaco recently. They had an amazing winning streak of 7 games in the league. But all of a sudden they were able to collect only 1 point in their last games. Those were both winnable ones actually.

Rennes vs Strasbourg is never an easy one, for me I have to go for a draw because both teams have same strength to match whatever each of them are bringing.

Rennes just destroyed Strasbourg by 3-0 and showed it really easy. They dominated the game completely unlike my expectations. I assume it is mostly because of Strasbourg's not having much of a target left in the season.

I don’t really understand why Monaco have picked up two poor results lately after that winning streak. But if you look into it deeper, it actually makes sense. When a team pushes hard to secure consecutive wins, the players will obviously get tired and won’t perform at their best in the following matches. So the loss against Paris was already a sign that Monaco’s form was starting to decline. That’s why it’s not surprising that the match against Auxerre only ended in a draw.

Some people are saying that PSG are no longer bothered about the league. It all started when they saw Lyon ahead of PSG by two goals, so some people may be thinking that it’s because PSG are not serious that is why they conceded two goals in the first half.But they have forgotten that any team can win against another, especially in the league. And by the way, even Lyon, who are playing against PSG, are in good form. If they were not in good form, they wouldn’t be in third position on the table.

It is Lens that have been inconsistent in their matches; otherwise, they would have been ahead of PSG by some points now. But anyway, I agree with you that nothing is guaranteed for now. The points difference is not that much it is just one point, as long as PSG lose this match tonight.However, if they are able to win their outstanding match, the gap will be four points. To be sincere, they can still drop around four points before the end of the league.But for now, what I can say is that PSG are the favourites to win the league. Currently, they have about a 95% chance of winning it.
