For Paris Saint-Germain, failing to win the league title to Lens is a source of deep shame. Given the squad they have, I don’t think it’s acceptable; however, it must be said that in order to maintain a fresh sense of motivation to win, they sometimes need to lose or finish second. I think this isn't a question about the manager fire luis enrique becouse the most important thing is to make good in champions league and guarantee a champions league partecipation every year.

Why think about sacking Luis Enrique, after all the competition is not over, they still have one game left to play that they can win and still have a 1 point advantage over Lens, this means the title is still in their favor, only as I said, PSG needs to work harder in the remaining games so that they don't experience a similar incident and then Lens takes the opportunity to become champions.

Compared to the previous two seasons, PSG this season is worse, the previous two seasons of the 34 matches required in the French league 1 they only had two defeats, while now they have 5 losing matches which is actually a form of decline from last season's achievements, this is indeed the worst of the last two seasons. But on the other hand this league is much more interesting because PSG's position is not too dominating, intense competition is one of the attractions so as not to be boring overall, and you may also know that this league OPSG still has two pending matches first against Nantes and second against Lens, so there is still a form of final match between PSG and Lens as the French 1 league holder this season.

But still the quality gap should have made difference normally. When there is no Dembele, Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes from the start, they just get affected really badly.

In the end, PSG only managed to score one goal and the game ended in defeat. It's a terrible season for PSG in Ligue 1, unlike in the past when they would already be celebrating the title. This season they are still fighting for the title and praying not to lose their next games and that Lens doesn't win theirs. I lost my bet thanks to this PSG defeat.

Luis Enrique shouldn't experiment in such a crucial match, and if his reason is to save players for the UCL match against Bayern Munich, it would be premature to make the decision as the match is still a long way off. A poor start and a very fragile defense allowed Lyon to score two goals in 20 minutes of the match, of course the goals were very surprising for PSG and made the players' mentality slightly decrease. Gonçalo Ramos's failure to convert a penalty in the 33rd minute also changed their momentum in overcoming their deficit. Seeing PSG lost against Lyon seems a common thing. They didn't play like what they used in UCL. It's also hard to call that as an experiment caused by what i saw from them were lacking of motivation to win. are they feel boring with the league? Maybe yes, maybe no. However, they can't end the season without trophy.

I understand they tried to put everything to b2b UCL champion, but they should not put their league aside. The result they lost to the lyon while the most crucial part is that Vitinha was injured at that game.

He's playing too much. His injury was avoidable, but Enrique did it bad by keep playing him. It's such a huge lost for them while the game against bayern is gonna happen at the end of this month.

Yes, PSG is still topping the league but with goal difference, they have one outstanding game which is still unsure if they will be win the game so they have to be careful to avoid bottling the opportunity they have this time since Lens is now back to winning ways. Coming weeks will be so occupied for PSG cause they will have to combine the champions League and the league game it's going to be very stressful but through hard work they can go ahead to winning the league and also champions League.

It is logical what you mentioned. I would like to add that with intense rythme and high quality games, the number of injuries generally rose so the possibility to lose key players increase and this will affect teams results.
For PSG, they are already at stake with Bayern Munich actual performance and the fact that they already won Bundesliga will make them fully focused on the Champions League game. PSG will have to fight hard there. The problem is that PSG will have to play two games in Ligue 1 before facing Bayern Munich so a players rotation will occur and they might miss points because of that.

It's no surprise that Lyon won this match, despite playing on PSG turf as Lyon were determined to finish in the top four. This was evident in Lyon's fantastic performance. They all remained solid and focused despite PSG's onslaught, and the Lyon goalkeeper performed exceptionally well.

Even substitutes like Hateboar performed well. Endrick once again demonstrated his sharpness in front of goal and Afonso Moreira also performed well appearing to be a constant presence in the game, even contributing to goals and defense. All Lyon players were enthusiastic and focused from the start, both defensively and offensively.

Meanwhile, PSG performance in this match was very poor, a stark contrast to their performances in the Champions League. I saw the PSG players lack passion in this match as if they don't really need Ligue 1, considering the trophies they've already won. Sadly the postponed match Lens vs PSG was played just a week before the last matchday after PSG have free schedule match during have to play at UEFA Champion League semifinal match. Lens get advantage after Lyon success defeating PSG last match and currently both team remaining one point only and three days later PSG will play at first postponed match against Nantes. Its crucial match if PSG loss points would be interested until last matchday to know who win the Ligue 1 tittle?

I don't think problem PSG success reaching final in Champion League or not but depend the next match against Nantes, if loss three points will motivate Lens performing well for few matches left and facing PSG at postponed match become the final match get three points. Lens has an advantage the postponed match against PSG will play at their home and won't loss three points.

I don't think that PSG lose were, due to stress from the champions League, PSG in recent has rested especially when there is a champions League game that is coming up. PSG has been given prefentiall treatment in the league. This is because they wants PSG to do well in the champions League.


You don't expect PSG to win all their games, you lose some and win some and that is what happened in this game. Again this game is always marked by rival so when ever these two teams are playing you should expect a tough one.

I actually get your point but if you check their performance it doesn't look promising like last season that is why so many people are saying a lot of things, psg's performance this season is not encouraging at all which a lot need to be reshape maybe after this season because if they continue I don't think they can be able to top the table again. Honestly PSG as decline because if you can check from their performance it seems that a lot has changed, last season they won the league with a very huge gap which so many people expected and this season will all have expectation that their performance will continue but fortunately it has reduced which we don't expect.

Such an unexpected defeat at the end of the season only gives Lens some chance, although PSG still have a one-game advantage. If PSG can get 3 points in their next match against Nantes, then PSG will be ahead with a 4-point lead. If they lose, they will only risk their position. Although PSG's performance against Lyon was good, they were not lucky enough to score goals or their attacks were not as sharp, compared to PSG, Lyon launched some clear attacks to score goals.

PSG's performance does not seem to be particularly good, due to which they are either drawing the match or heading towards defeat. PSG are losing points during the match, which can be detrimental to their title chances. PSG are playing with a very poor performance. Lyon is in third place in this league and is 9 points behind them, but their effort is so fast that they worked hard while playing very well and it is detrimental to PSG. Now Lens will take advantage of this and will be successful because Lens was waiting for this opportunity and they got it. It is difficult for PSG to succeed in the Champions League too because if they lose in the semi-finals, it will be a big loss for them because in Ligue 1, PSG is under the control of Lens.
