The problem with Man United is not just the goalkeeper or striker but I think all their lines are not playing like a solid team. There was no strong bond between them, even it is often seen that some of them tend to play individually. Dribbling and penetration are sometimes necessary, but it is often forced and ignore teammates who are in good positions to score goals, isn't that just a ridiculous move?

Sometimes, I do think along the same lines. In a football team, everyone playing the game has a role to play and has a share of either the losses and the glory.
Watching them play sometimes, I don’t see any unity in them and they lack to act and play together as a team. They should be of one mind if they want to achieve their goals. Manchester City, In their games sometimes, play exceptionally well and with their players in sync, playing with one mind with one vision to score goals and win the game. Unfortunately, Manchester United rarely plays with their players in sync.

Yeah that's actually what distinguishes Manchester City from Manchester United because Manchester City has the spirit of togetherness that's why they always defeat there opponent by playing as a team that understands each other, that's actually what makes Manchester City to become were they are now and the things they have actually achieved.

For every club to achieve anything or go far in every league there most be an understanding between the players and the goalkeeper and if perhaps the understanding is not there they are bound to fail, perhaps that's what Manchester United is suffering now because of lack of understanding and inability to work as a team.

But why does Manchester City have that spirit? It is because Guardiola understands how to form a team out of a bunch of players. Otherwise we could say that Manchester City would be as successful when ten Hag was their coach, but I am sure that would not be the case. On the contrary, if Guardiola was the coach of Manchester United, I am pretty confident that they would be much better off. There is still a difference in the quality of players as Manchester City has players like Haaland. But there is a lot of potential in the Manchester United team. It would be a nice experiment to see these coaches switch their teams

The Manchester City team has been somewhat weak since the beginning of this season. Because two important players in their squad Gundogan and De Bruyne are not with the squad. Gundogan left the team and De Bruyne is out of the squad this season due to injury. Manchester City's performance this season has been slightly weaker than last season due to the loss of two key midfield players. However, Manchester City's performance was relatively stable due to Guardiola's match strategy. The team would still have been at the top of the table if they had not lost points consistently in the last few matches. However, after dropping points in the last few matches, they found a win against Luton Town. It is expected that Manchester City's performance will be stronger in the upcoming matches.

Velvet78, this was a good performance from Tottenham. A good comeback I have to say. Even though they were not able to keep a clean sheet in this match, they have definitely done well to win by a big score. Probably now they will be able to be consistent in their performance. They were performing really well and looked really good to actually be the best contender for the English Premier League title. But after that, the losing streak that they had recently, has definitely put them out of the place. And they will also have to work really hard to actually get back the first position of the table. The good thing is, even though they have lost a lot of matches one after another, they are still only 7 points behind compared to the first team on the table. So it is still very much within their reach.

It is really unfortunate of Tottenham to be that much away from the leader in the standings. Because they lost so many points for many weeks straight. While we were talking about Ange Postecoglou effect over the team they suddenly started to lose points quite often. But hopefully this recent win can be some motivation for them to maintain a good streak.

This team still have a very difficult job to do this season. Because even Manchester City are having difficult days and Arsenal - Liverpool - Aston Villa trio are benefiting from the situation great. Yeah even Aston Villa are in the title competition now thanks to Emery. 

The thing is Tottenham had a lot of injured players. Especially in the defensive line. So the other teams actually took advantage of that. And I have to say it was well done by the other teams. They saw an opportunity and they took full advantage of that and I have to give them credit for it. Of course, the one to suffer was Tottenham. But now they are back in winning ways. I hope they will be able to continue performing like this. They will actually have to perform well like this if they actually want to have any shot towards the English Premier League title. They are already behind by 7 points, so they cannot afford to lose any more points at this moment.

We are still talking about Manchester City and it is still a world class team, but you are right that if you compare this season Manchester City to last season Manchester City, there is quite a significant difference. Now this is easily said because they could not win several games recently, but the whole style and intensity of their game decreases and I concur with you that the midfield is their weak spot due to Gundogan and De Bruyne being out. What this duo pulled off last season was insane and they built one of the most impressive midfields I have ever seen. Gundogan out of a sudden became a top scorer for the most important goals and De Bruyne played in his own league. The dominance is gone and it was due to these two players that Manchester City could maintain it for so long last season.

If Aston villa can continue I believe they will land themselves in champions league zone. I don't expect Chelsea and Manchester United in the europa zone because of their performance, but Tottenham Hotspur is capable of making it, they are just left behind because of injury challenges and I believe if the squad is fully back they can make a difference.

In my own opinion, I think Erik Ten Hag is currently one of the luckiest managers in world football at the moment because it's very rare to see a manager who's underperformed as much as the Dutch has done for a big European club like Manchester United and still remain as the club. Just like Danny Murphy suggested, Ten Hag should've been released of his duties as the club manager but it seems the club management is still keeping faith with him because they think he can still improve the result of the club. They have a very crucial game to play against Bayern Munich tomorrow in the UEFA Champions League and if Manchester United fails to reach the knockout stages of the competition after that game, they're very likely to get rid of Erik Ten Hag.

Erik Ten Hag has had a falling out with most of his key players this season; there is little he can do to reconcile with his players; instead, he is intent on controlling his respects and acts toward his squad. Suggesting Erik Ten Hag's dismissal is not advantageous for the club because we should be well aware of the team's serious situation, and every other manager has little to add other than testing their techniques with a completely newt tactics.

What's really blowing me away is their record for the home games. They truly are operating a fortress in their home stadium! They won 100% of their games there and it is not just that they won those games, but how they destroyed most of their opponents there. Although I saw that Liverpool also has a perfect record for their home games. Now they will have a couple of games against weaker opponents, except for maybe Manchester United in two weeks. But if they continue like this then the game against Manchester United could be some big points for them as they can increase the distance to Manchester United and leave them behind once and for all for this season.

Chelsea just have a lot to do other than Pochettino asking for new crop of players to be signed. I was really disappointed by their performance yesterday and from how they played, it showed glaringly that they don't have any tactics. How can you bench players like Sterling and Jackson? Although he(Jackson) is still finding his feet, but you can agree that he plays a great role in the attack. Everton are like an injured lion and won't try to take any chances so I didn't expect Pochettino to do so with his team.
 This is the second time in a row that they have lost in their away game and it's sad that instead of Pochettino to admit they messed up, he blamed their performance on lack of good players and I'm beginning to wonder if he knows what he's talking about. Last transfer window, Chelsea spent above a billion pounds on purchasing players and I thought that with that amount spent, they'd be in the top four or close but what are we seeing? Currently they are twelfth. It's as if ever since Todd Boehly took over the club, their lot is to between the tenth and twelfth position.

Yep that's right, since Todd Boehly took over the club a lot of controversy has occurred, be it a matter of spending on players who are careless and sacking coaches who make no sense. Currently chelsea has a lot of changes both in terms of the game and the mentality of the players, I'm sure the chelsea dressing room after consecutive away defeats must be chaotic, moreover experienced players in the EPL such as Rahim Sterling are reserved, Chelsea does not have much time to clean up soon half the season will end if this continues next year Chelsea will not play in the UCL again.
Many factors must be improved from the team both tactics and mentality of the players, Pochettino is not an experienced coach both in the EPL.

I don't think Aston Villa sets a target for the title. They must realize that it is something very difficult to achieve because there are many strong teams in EPL. I assume Aston Villa just tries their best to finish in UCL zone, so they can make a history to play in UCL for the next season. It will be another surprise if Aston Villa joins UCL next season after Newcastle joins the UCL for this season. Sure, they are very confident now, they could beat Man City and Arsenal, these are the strong teams in EPL. For the next matches, I assume Aston Villa can beat Man United and Newcastle. It should be easier than Man City and Arsenal.

I agree with you. He had problems with many players and proved to us that he was the main problem in the team. Erik Ten Hag is now doing more harm than good to the team and I'm sure there are a lot of people waiting for him to leave the team. Yeah sometimes too much discipline also does harm to the team and we can see this in the case of Manchester United here. I still think that Erik ten Haag is a good technical coach but he has to loose himself a little sometimes. Right now United are in a very difficult stage and I also think that he has to get some chances to the options that he has and make changes so that he can turn around the performance of United otherwise yes he will be sacked very soon.

I think what Pochettino needs is a long adaptation time, because the players he has have minimal experience. On the other hand, their transfer policy last summer was quite bad, they let go of ready made players by recruiting young players who needed more time to improve their skills and confidence, which is why Chelsea slumped this season.

There are many harsh comments regarding the current performance of Pochettino squad, and I think he should be tolerant of this criticism. Because for some fans, spending a lot of money in the transfer window will be a hope that will bring them closer to winning a trophy, not bring the club to the brink of collapse.

There is still time for Chelsea to improve, although we know it is not an easy thing to do in an instant. However, I think with its status as an elite EPL club, the Blues do not deserve to finish in 12th position like last season. Player injuries are not an excuse, and Pochettino should be able to find a solution quickly to get out of the current pressure.

This is what coaches get for being inconsistent. I’m not surprised to hear fans say this out of so many disappointments and how the team haven’t been used effectively to win games. After all, managers play the game by designs.

Well, his approach towards managing his team has been by some form of discipline, he tried it with Ronaldo and Rashford last season, it worked out just fine. I recall just how he was praised for it and now, his at it again with his team but, it’s just not coming off as from a season ago. It’s the premier league and things change very quickly in this league. When the strategy that once worked isn’t delivery result, you ought to change tactics too.
Being a legendary club doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be changes and winners. The underdogs have got to step up too and they will.

Aston Villa this season is indeed doing a very good job in the Premier League, they are one of the strongest team in the Premier league this season and they have defeated almost all the big teams in the league so far. I know that they can’t win the league but they might do exactly the same thing as Newcastle United did last season to qualify for Champions League next season.
Arsenal still remains one of the top teams in the League, alongside Tottenham, Liverpool, and Manchester City, but I doubt if Chelsea and Manchester United will make it to the top four this season.

A club needs prominent players to enchanced the club. Selling and acquiring new players is essentially what the Red Devils must have in January. There is no place for hesitation moves so Erik Ten Hag becomes primarily focused on his job; it is the major goal of the coach, and the players and supporters back him. Manchester United's spectacular performance has not ended; they are simply having difficulties for the time being, and it will be finished shortly. Erik Ten Hag's time to leave Old Trafford has not come; he still has work to do for the Red Devils.

They're already opened to see some players leaving, they have to see player's leaving before others can come Into the club. Manchester United have now listed Casemiro, Varane, Dee Beek and Martial as players who will be leaving the theatre of dreams.
When you check the statistics from Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and other big managers, you'll see that Erik Ten Hag has got a better winning rate than them in his very first season and at the same time, winning the club and fans a trophy in his very first season. Ain't that a good stats? Most of the players are right behind the manager, in order to keep possession, he mustn't work with midfielder's like Mc Tominay who is poor at that. I keep wondering who will be the right man to take the job if he gets sacked.

I do not think that those players are really the problem, I get that they may want to get more players and that's fine, but a player like Casemiro can't be blamed for anything, plus he was just bought for a decent amount as well, seeing him leave so soon while also not needing to be sent, makes no sense at all. I am sure that he will find a place somewhere else and do just fine. Rest I can sort of understand, that part makes sense, like you gain nothing by keeping Martial, he hasn't provided anything in a long time.

The number one issue is goalkeeper though, they may try the bench one over Onana for a few weeks and if that doesn't work then maybe get another one during the winter because Onana is just terrible, he is nowhere near the level he should be and that's terrible for them. If they keep up with this defence and GK, then I am sorry but they are going to keep being a terrible team and keep on losing for a long time, there is no way they can get better.

New manager or not, Manchester United may have to overhaul most of the players in the team currently inorder to go back to their winning ways.
I don't know how long it would take the team to perfect Ten Hags plan, but whatever it is, it ain't working.
