Top fourth teams position have good result for this week except Manchester City, there are have Arsenal won against Brighton Albion and Aston Villa keep in the winning trend. Left Liverpool match will follow the good result for defeating Manchester United or possibility follow not good result achievement like Man City.

It's hard to accept that Manchester City dropped points against weaker opponents. They shouldn't be losing points in these types of games, especially considering the quality of their squad. City is going through a challenging period, but sometimes things can turn around unexpectedly. They have to bounce back, as other contenders maintaining their winning streaks.

You made a really good point here, but you need to consider the absence of most of their top players like Haaland and kelvin debrune, no team will lose such top player and don't feel their absence, but I know that in due time, when they are back, they can beat any team in the world.

Just that if they continue like this, before they will realize their self, they will be far away from the top, which will make it very challenging and difficult to defend the title. Injury is one occurrence in football that is out of team Manager's control and it's so unfortunate when we see teams that are supposed to doing great in the league suffering behind due to injured top players absence.

I don't know what's going on with City, but they are not their usual self this season, they are conceding too many goals, too slow in attack and they don't finish teams off. The gap between City and their fellow title contenders continues to get wider and even if we know City can go on long winning runs, it might not be the case this season, before Pep and his City side return from the World club cup, they might be many points off the top of the table. Pep has to fix this and very quickly as well if they are going to win their fourth EPL title in a row.

There are several factors why Man City is experiencing inconsistency or in other words difficulty in getting maximum points, most recently they drew against Crystal Palace. I think partly because of the injuries to Halaand, De Bruyne and Stones, without these three players Pep Guardiola will be a little confused when it comes to maintaining the team performance. Of course Pep will fix this problem as soon as possible, because losing any more points will result in reduced chances of retaining the EPL trophy at the end of the season.

It does seem confusing to understand why Man City is experiencing such a decline in performance as it is currently. I think Pep squad is experiencing a decrease in hunger for the championship trophy, because it has achieved a level of success that is so proud like last season, namely winning the treble winners. Pep must take care of his team so that they remain enthusiastic about getting points and chasing the EPL trophy for the fourth time in a row.

The competitive situation in the top four of the standings is getting hotter every week, the entry of Aston Villa to disrupt the competition from favorite teams such as Arsenal and Liverpool is increasingly making City position difficult. Moreover, if Tottenham and Newcastle return to consistency in the future, then City will have even more difficulties and will even fail to defend the EPL trophy this season if they don't make improvements.

I do not see Aston Villa going down from the top-four position in a few weeks, Aston Villa will be in the top-four position for a very long term. Aston Villa's coming from behind to beat Brighton shows that they are fully ready to win the Premier League this season.

I understand why you are so confident in saying Aston Villa will be in the top 4 for a long time because I saw their match schedule and there are no big matches until next March there are only a few games against Manchester United and I'm not sure if they can be called big games because in fact Aston Villa's performance is much better, but next April they will face 2 strong teams such as Manchester City and Arsenal well, here we can't be sure whether Aston Villa is still safe or vice versa. As we can see in the table, each team has adjacent points meaning there is still a chance to overtake each other among the top 4 but to win the League I'm not sure Aston Villa can do it.

You are right when it comes to big team, the weak big clubs don't accept defeat and it use to be a turgue of war. Liverpool has a better chance of scoring Manchester United in the last quarter of the first half but Manchester United didn't give them that chance as they sealed their defense. I think Liverpool should be able to win the match.

To be honest with you I never expected that Manchester United will be able to hold their ground and face Liverpool with strong will of not allowing Liverpool to win the game. Nunez is always on offside in this match, both clubs are trying but none of them have been able to break the deadlock yet. It is still goalless draw.

Manchester United are playing a completely defensive strategy against Liverpool today. The United Ten Hag is well aware that Manchester United have no chance of winning against Liverpool. That is why he is keen to draw the match 0-0 by playing a defensive strategy.

Manchester United made only two shots in 65 minutes. And only 29% of ball possession. After Brighton gave Arsenal a frustrating first half, Arsenal managed to win the match by 2 goals in the second half with an outstanding performance that broke through Brighton's defense.
In every Premier League week match, Arsenal keeps showing that they are in much need to be the 2023/2024 Premier League champions. Although they have Liverpool and Manchester City as their biggest rival for the Premier League title.

The way Brighton played defensively today, I thought the match would be a goalless draw. From the beginning of the match, Brighton played completely defensively. There was no tendency for the Brighton players to score. Their main aim was to resist Arsenal's attacks. In the first half, Brighton successfully countered every Arsenal attack. However, in the second half Arsenal players became more desperate to score. At the beginning of the second half, Arsenal took the lead in the match with the goal of Jesus in the 53rd minute. Kai Havartez's goal in the 87th minute then gave Arsenal an impressive 2-0 win in the match. The top spot in the points table is now occupied by Arsenal.

After watching the performance of both teams in the first half I also thought the match was going to be a draw. Brighton are a strong enough team. When such a team plays a defensive strategy, it becomes challenging for the opposing players to score goals. But Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta was able to spot the weaknesses in Brighton's defence. This is why Arsenal was able to take the lead by scoring at the beginning of the second half. In the second half, Brighton's players tried several times to bring the match back to parity. But they failed to score, and conceded another goal in the last minute to lose the match 2-0.

Arteta is an excellent coach. Arteta's match strategy has led to Arsenal's performances so far and the team at the top of the table. Arsenal could have cemented their place at the top of the table had they not dropped points against Aston Villa.

The second half is taking a new shape now, Manchester United is playing attacking football which could have given Manchester United a lead against Liverpool, but Garnacho could not find the back of the net. If Manchester United continue to play the way they are playing now,  they might get a point from Liverpool at Anfield.

If Manchester City fail to recover quickly then yes, it is very possible for Manchester City to get out of the top four. But indeed, last season Manchester City also had several bad results, but at least last season Manchester City's competing teams were not consistent enough like this moment.

Of course, it is different from what happened at this moment, because at this moment it is not only about Arsenal and Liverpool who managed to compete in positions 1 and 2. Man City needs to come back from this poor performance and they cannot afford losing points anymore. Tottenham and Newcastle might also join the top 4.

Ten Hag only plays his favorite players. Even though there are still several good midfielders such as Amrabat, Casemiro and Eriksen that he could use as options to play.

That is a fantastic observation about Ten Hag. If not of this point of yours, I wonder why he will not bench Onana in few matches so that he will sit up. It is as if his mistakes and inconsistencies are accepted by the coach that is why he is not making any effort to improve.

However, Ten Hag actually made some adjustments today by playing Amrabat probably due to the absence of Bruno Fernández owing to injury. On a serious note, I dont to understand why he used Naino that is obviously not suitable for this match. Now Liverpool is dominating the midfield while Manchester United seems to be more on the defensive side.

Hoping for a draw is more likely to occur than hoping for Liverpool to win because Manchester United and Liverpool have equally good opportunities to score a goal, but there has not been a final finish that is convincing enough to become a goal even though a number of opportunities for goals from both teams were very open throughout the second half.
My bet is still safe because I placed a draw for this match.

Believe me Manchester United has no other way to approach this game, they have to be defending and defensive, the tactics seems to be working but they have failed to utilized the chances the chances they had.
Liverpool though have been the better side in this game, they have also failed to score no much of chances created in between. Chelsea did well during these games you mentioned, I was perplexed against Manchester City, the young players won the  midfied from Manchester City. Th draw they had in that game was not a good one, they should have been the side to win eve if I wanted em.to lose.

Second half here and they still be pressuring Manchester United. For Manchester United to hold Liverpool down to this point they have done well. Hopefully they get a point out this game.

Arsenal dominated the game in the first and second half but it wasn't easy for the to score until the second half Gabriel and Havertz managed to score the goal. The failure of Manchester City of not having a full point in their previous game was a big advantage for arsenal and if Liverpool ends up playing draw with Manchester United it will also be an advantage to Arsenal too.

It is so interesting to see Arsenal at the top of the league again,  this is a good opportunity for arsenal to try their best again to maintain the top position,  but Arsenal are always unpredictable if they can be able to maintain the position. Arsenal have a lot of work to do , their next game they will be playing against Liverpool,  this will determine if they can win the Premier League,  it is going to be a tough game for arsenal because Liverpool is very tough this season fighting to get the title.

The only fear I have for the Manchester United sides is their goal keeper, Onana. He has been consistently making mistakes that were never there before he was signed. Even in the ongoing match, he already committed a mistake that can lead to a goal.  Apart from this, Manchester United is playing so well. Continue to entrust Onana as goalkeeper like there are no other options that Manchester United has. Erik ten Hag still has Bayindir which he bought this season.

I expected myself a humiliating defeat for Manchester United and Ten Hag to be sacked few hours later but it appears that things went of favour of Ten Hag since this result of 0 - 0 is good for the club. At the opposite, Klopp and Liverpool should not be happy with that since Arsenal jumped in front of them in the standings after their 2 goals victory against Brighton. Aston Villa also have the same number of points as Liverpool.
The situation is very complicated in the top of the standings and Liverpool should win next round vs gunners to claim back the first spot especially that they are playing in Anfield. Aston Villa meanwhile will be second by the end of the next round.

I think, although Liverpool still got 1 point in this match but still, this draw is not good for Liverpool in the Premier League standings.

Because yes, with this draw it makes Liverpool currently in 2nd place with the same points as Aston Villa with 38 points, and they have a 1 point gap with Arsenal. However, unfortunately the final result of the match ended in a goalless draw, Liverpool were unable to take advantage of many opportunities and indeed Manchester United's defense was also quite good and managed to maintain a draw until the end of the match.
And Gapko came on only to waste opportunities and there were lots of good opportunities for Liverpool but they couldn't take advantage of them well, and I saw in this match it was the opposite. Manchester has a good defense so it makes it difficult for Liverpool's attackers to score goals, and conversely Liverpool's defense is not good but Manchester United's attackers can't take advantage of it and Manchester United's attackers don't play well.
