Efforts to overtake Aston Villa in third place in the standings have been postponed. A result that Guardiola did not expect, because with the tight competition in the top four, losing points would mean a disaster. The opportunity to retain the trophy becomes smaller, while providing a straight path for Liverpool and Arsenal to control the top of the standings, especially if both manage to secure full points today.

Manchester City just got from bad to worse as they again at home against a weaker team left point.This time is completely different though as they are not fighting only against Arsenal but also against other teams fighting for the Champion title and I am afraid for them it is already game over despite how strong of a team they are.

In my opinion, Manchester City really needs E. Haaland, the proof is that in yesterday's match when Manchester City played against Crystal Palace, I saw a difference in essence, the performance of Manchester City players was not like when E. Amazing performance from everton. I knew that if everton would be winning the game. Everton continues its good performance and that's amazing to see everton plays differently. It was climbing up really fast compared to the another team.

The first half was over and the two teams only played a draw. This proves that Arsenal still failed to take advantage of their opportunities in the first half because Brighton played well defensively, but Arsenal's dominance in this match was very clear.

Brighton couldn't do much throughout the first half and didn't even fire a single shot on goal. Arsenal is indeed the dominant team at home, but that doesn't mean Arsenal can always win the match. Brighton could beat Arsenal or make Arsenal lose maximum points, but Arsenal has a big chance of securing 3 points at home today.

But lately the match between Liverpool and Manchester United don't look like rivalry any more as the game has become one sided lately and Liverpool has been the dominating team and I don't see that changing in today's game. I remember Liverpool was the match that made Man United sack Mourinho. This match is going to be easy for Liverpool. The way Manchester United play they don't play like a team that can win Liverpool. I believe Manchester United will score because Liverpool always concede but Liverpool will win.

Exactly Arsenal need to put more effort in the second half if they want to top the league table, because how I see them playing in the first half is not too good, they need to try their best and defeat Brighton in the second half and can get the opportunity and lead the table if Liverpool fail to defeat Manchester United, because anything can happen in football is unpredictable, but I believe since Manchester United are not in form this season, he will give Liverpool hope to win the match, Since they are playing at home, and some Manchester United players are injured, and I am sure Liverpool will not want to lose any matches because if they make any mistakes now, and Arsenal or Manchester City are top of the league, it will be very tough for them to return to the top. I find it weird too to go full defence and not reaching the goalie. Brighton will count only on counterattack? The response came fast and gunners scored a goal. The result is 1 - 0 and Brighton coach has to change his strategy.
Brentford 1 - 0 Aston Villa which were expected to win in this match. There is still half an hour to try to reverse the score hopefully.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag must be stressed and sweating right now. Previous Manchester United coaches including Mourinho were sacked after humiliating defeats against Liverpool. United already had a very bad results, being kicked from UEFA Champions League and his odds to be fired after that match are high. He has to win or at least grant one point from that match!
