I was thinking that Arsenal would be victorious against Newcastle to be able to qualify for the Champions League. But after a really bad first half performance, they made things very difficult for themselves by getting 1-0 behind in the 56th minute. Unless Arteta does magic, I don't see it possible that Arsenal can turn the game around.

Manchester City lost the big advantage, in my opinion, Aston Villa can do anything. What league is this? What season is it? The human mind stops. A great match, incredible end of season, here is the usual premier league.

In the first goal, Ederson acted unprofessional. Ederson should have gotten out of the goal just when the player was in the penalty area. I haven't seen a match-saving save from this goalkeeper in 4 years. It wasn't in a position where I said "How did he hold this shot". Although he is a goalkeeper who proves every game that he is not the goalkeeper of the big games, Guardiola does not give up on this man.

I think Pep should pray that he gets 1 point from here. A very important point for the championship. If Bowen and Antonio were not selfish and saw the players running next to them West Ham would score 4 goals even. Whoever wins the Premier League this year definitely deserves it.

I really can't understand Arsenal now. This game is a must-win one for them I believe because they will risk their Champions League chance too much otherwise. Tottenham are already ahead of them waiting for them to make a mistake. And Arsenal are likely to make that mistake as they are 1-0 behind. There are still around fifteen minutes to the end at least and this is still enough time for them to make a comeback. But I'm losing my faith in them.

It pain me that Arsenal always have a way to trigger ones anger when you need them the most, never a fan but I want to see them go for that Champions League, this will help them raise more money at least sign new players and participate in the League too.
This is their third time of loosing 3 good important matches in a row that would have be a good advantage for them in keeping the top 4 but all went south. If Tottenham could loose their next match (most likely not), I think Arsenal can struggle to win Everton, nearly impossible too but football surprised sometimes.

Manchester City surprisely drew against West Ham in the last match. I literally thought City will beat West Ham, but it turned out West Ham wasn't ready to lose their home match. While their rival Liverpool will be playing an away match against Southampton tomorrow. If Liverpool probably wins, their points will be boosted to 89. Which means, they will be just a point behind City.

After Newcastle secured the goal at the 55th minutes, Arsenal have been trying their possible best to equalize to score. But it seems they can't succeed. Because, Newcastle defense are tight. However, Arsenal just conceded another goal, Making the score 2-0.

Looking at the performance of the Gunner's I don't think they could make it for the next season UEFA Champions League again, let just give it to Spurs who have already shown sign if seriousness for it. I was hoping the Gunner's will defeat their rival tonight but looking at what is happening now I don't think Newcastle will even want a draw from them. I think Arteta should pray hard.

Of course if City had won the game they would have been all but Champions heading into the final game of the season, but people seem to forget how tough a team West Ham are, and that point was very important for City to keep their destiny firmly in their hands heading into their final game of the season against Aston Villa. I am very proud of this City side, with what they have done this season they deserve an awful amount of credit, and they would get all of that on the final day when they are crowned champions, cause i do not see anything other than that happening.

Liverpool by the way still have to win Southampton tomorrow to take the title race down to the final day, it is a game they are highly expected to win, but until they do that we can't talk about the race for the title lingering till the final day, so it is fingers crossed for now.

Arsenal is unpredictable,  they are not stable in their performance  ,I'm not expecting much from Arsenal. I'm only watching the match to see who the winner will be. It seems Newcastle will win the the match because they have scored 2 goals against arsenal.

What a fiasco and what a disappointment for Everton fans. They were saved by winning and now returned with this defeat and by the rival they have on the last date against the ropes.

The truth is that I don't know who is going to end up descending. Every time it seems that one is leaving or being saved, everything suddenly changes.

Even though Everton lost but the spirit shown by Everton was extraordinary, even though Everton played with 10 players at the beginning of the first half, but Everton could still break into Bernford's goal, in the 88th minute Rondon was again given a red card, but Everton's spirit was extraordinary, even though they lost but their fans did not feel disappointed, according to my prediction Everton still have a chance to play in the EPL next season.

Everton was dreadful irrespective of the red card. They have been unusually poor this season all round to say the least and the truth is if they are eventually relegated they will only have themselves to blame. Everton have a very massive game in hand now and if they fail, the blame for the entire season should be laid on their defense.

When compared to the previous season, this season Everton played very badly. I think Everton's bad results this season are because Everton were
wrong in choosing a replacement for Ancelotti. The appointment of Rafael Benitez was the beginning of a decline in performance from Everton,
luckily the Everton management acted very quickly by sacking Benitez and being replaced by Frank Lampard. But because Everton have lost a lot of
points, so it's a tough task for Lampard to make Everton rise again.

Actually approaching the end of the season Everton began to achieve positive results, before being defeated by Brentford,  Everton managed to win
2 surprising wins. Everton managed to beat Chelsea and also Leicester, unfortunately facing Watford which is a weaker team, Everton can only play
a draw. Then against Brentford, they didn't really play badly,  but because Everton had already received a red card, they struggled against Brentford
and ended up having to lose. But I'm pretty optimistic that Everton won't be relegated. I believe Everton can beat Crystal Palace in their next game
which keeps them away from the relegation zone.

As usual when facing important matches, arsenal played like an ordinary team, it was very visible if arsenal players lost on all fronts, poor defense and also a lack of creativity in attack made arsenal look helpless and made newcastle dominate the match, the defeat they get it today, I think I have closed the chance for Arsenal to play in the Champions League next season, although there is still 1 game left but I don't think Arsenal will be able to stand above Tottenham this season.

Very unfortunate for arsenal and supporters like myself who have had high hopes of playing in the UCL next season. But with our unpredictable performance, Antonio Conte's side will be a better representative for England in place of arsenal. I don't think it is our coach Arteta, that is the problem, we simply need to sign more experienced players into our club if we must do better next season. Newcastle fans will be proud of how their team outplayed arsenal, Wilson Callum was superb again for his side as well some other players in the Newcastle side, the pressure they put on our defence was sufficient to cause problems for us.

Previously I thought Arsenal would not lose to Newcastle because maybe a draw is not a bad option to consider, but in fact Arsenal have to swallow this bitter defeat and hand over the 4th position in the standings to Tottenham. It seems Tottenham fans should be grateful for Newcastle who managed to beat Arsenal 2-0 surprisingly and therefore Tottenham have the opportunity to end the season in 4th position to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Next match, Tottenham will away to the headquarters of Norwich City which incidentally has become a mandatory relegation team at the end of this season. Tottenham are going 100% to win that match and I have no doubts about the result. Arsenal deservedly disappointed in the end after losing to Newcastle as Arteta and the team's struggles only ended for a ticket in next season's Europa League.

Arsenal tried all their best and all their efforts in clinching top 4 proved abortive, majority of their young players are fatigued, Tottenham worked hard for the spot and got it, Arsenal will have to settle for Europa league next season which is not bad, the team has a bright future with the calibre of youngsters in the team, honestly it will be difficult for the team to play in champion league with those inexperience players, next season I am expecting the team to perform better.

Actually Arsenal still have hope of shifting Tottenham's position, but the chance is very small. Because in the last game Arsenal should be able to beat
Everton, but the problem is Arsenal must expect Tottenham to lose against Norwich. And I don't think Tottenham will waste the chance in the last game
against Norwich. I believe Tottenham can beat Norwich easily and make Tottenham play in the Champions League next season. Moreover, for Arsenal to be
in 5th position is good enough, when compared to the previous season which was in 8th position. This means that this season Arsenal have improved
quite well and at least Arsenal can play in the Europa League next season.

Honestly with the type of season Arsenal had, it doesn't even matter if you ask me. Yes I know that fourth position would be lovely, and it could happen, and it is certainly something everyone would want, why wouldn't anyone want that.

However, at the same time, we know that they started terribly to get here. Which is a proof that they do not really need anything extensive to actually claim it a great season. Even fifth would be a great year for them, they haven't been that good for past few seasons, and now they are going to be doing a bit better thanks to being fifth if that happens, or even fourth. Neither really matters as long as they are not out of top 10, which looked like might have happened if you look at first 1-2 months.

And just as quite a lot of people expected: Arsenal did what Arsenal know how to do best, and that is to capitulate, there is no such thing as 'we now have to wait for the last game to see who ends fourth', Spurs are going to end fourth, and that is that, Norwich would be lucky not to concede above 3 goals that day. It was in Arsenal's hands quite a lot of times this season, they lost it and it came right back to them again (up until tonight), this situation happened quite a lot of times this season, they ought to have been more decisive in doing their job. If you saw how distraught Arsenal players were at the end of the game you'll know that even themselves know it is over, it is Europa league football for them next season after all the hardwork, this is even going to affect their mentality for next season.
