Liverpool won their game against Southampton which I know was a comfortable win for both the team and Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool are outstanding this season, only this season. They have won the Carabao Cup, The FA cup. Now they are targeting to lift the premier league trophy only if City lose to Aston Villa in their last game. Remember, they only topping Liverpool with just a point, as we all know that, this is the modern era of football compared to those day. Manchester city Boss, Pep Guardiola will make sure he wins the premier league.

I have no doubts for Man City to win their last game against Aston Villa, Man City quality is much better than Aston Villa and in the absence of another trophy they might win makes the motivation and target to be very big for Pep Guardiola this season to be able to win the trophy, then a win in the last game to ensure themselves as Premier League champions is a must for them. and also if you look at the quality that Man City has, I have no doubts about that.

For me, I won’t judge their season base on the match against Newcastle United. I mean they have been outstanding throughout the season. The problem is a distinct lack of depth in the Arsenal squad. The starting XI is blessed enough to compete for a top-four place; had Tierney and Partey been available then the season climax may have transpired differently. Also Arsenal are the youngest team in the Premier League this season and their form is streaky as a result. They are able to build up momentum when confidence is flowing after a victory, but find it difficult to recover swiftly from setbacks.

I don't think this will happen, although it is possible that it will.

Nothing is impossible in football, and surprises can happen, but in the title race between Man City and Liverpool, I thought that the surprise wouldn't happen because I don't see any reason that can cause Man City would lose points in their last game. After Liverpool win last night against Southampton then the champion finally will determined on week 38 and the schedule is Man City vs Aston Villa and Liverpool vs Wolves and no doubted both of teams should be able to beat their opponents however indirectly Liverpool fate in the hands of Steven Gerrard because if Aston Villa at least can playing draw and assuming Liverpool win then he's already helped Liverpool to win the trophy

Good decision by klopp to start minamino against southhampton when he was feeling less pressure than others being his former club and he showed exactly what he needed to do today. He definitely deserves to play more games, impressive performer.

Liverpool longed looked for an opening for them to capitalise on and be league champions but instead, they made the mistake far before Manchester City did and the result never mattered afterwards. Else, they would have topped by now should they not have shared points with Tottenham.

Man City and Liverpool started this season with no point, they go through difficulties because even the clubs that are relegating in EPL are not easy clubs to play with not to talk of top 10 clubs in EPL.

Also remember that Man City sheared point with West Ham too recently, if not that, Man City would have won EPL by now.

Now, with the trophy just one game away from Manchester City's trophy room and with Liverpool so tightly on its tale, Guardiola is sure to future all or majority of his first team players in the Aston Villa game, right from the first half. I believe Steven Gerald the manager of Aston Villa will do Liverpool a favor by encouraging his players to play with full strength with determination against Aston Villa in a bid to help Liverpool win the league, Steven Gerald never won the league as a player with Liverpool and this a big opportunity to win it for them, though it's going to be a big challenge and task for Villa to win while playing in Etihad stadium, it's a must win match for Man City and draw or a loss means losing out while Liverpool will definitely beat Wolves, kudos to Liverpool for mounting pressure on Man City till the last day of the season

I don’t think Aston Villa stands a chance on Sunday against Manchester city. They will be playing Burnley on Thursday and three  days later travel to Etihad to play Manchester city, a team that has had a week rest. Manchester city are going to stomp them like they did Newcastle United and Wolves. The only miracle that could happen will be Aston Villa holding Manchester City to a draw and subject to Liverpool beating Wolves. Even an Aston Villa draw with Manchester City may not be enough as there is a six-goal deficit for the Reds to overturn.

I don't want anything hurtful to happen to Pep Guardiola and his squad but the game with Aston Villa should have been won despite this being a crucial game and also the only title to be won.
For me can't imagine if Mancity lost and Liverpool won it would be an unexpected miracle with a surprise for Liverpool fans, but it's still a big opportunity for Mancity at the moment, I'm still optimistic that I can win.

The only miracle that could happen will be Aston Villa holding Manchester City to a draw and subject to Liverpool beating Wolves. Even an Aston Villa draw with Manchester City may not be enough as there is a six-goal deficit for the Reds to overturn.

If City draw, it's the same as a defeat. The only way that could be different is if Liverpool draw and Villa win by 7 goals... which is obviously not going to happen.

For City it's clear, if Liverpool win then City need to win. If Liverpool don't win, City are champions.

A really nervous game again, our second team really pulled through yesterday. We had a bit of luck with the 2nd goal but their 1st one was a deflection as well - and a foul before the counterattack even started.

The most important thing is that we kept the pressure on City - they are still huge favorites to win that game and we still need a win against Wolves which won't be easy as well - but we are alive and that is the best we could have hoped for.

2 finals remaining in the best season I have ever witnessed as a Liverpool supporter since 1998. Yes, Istanbul will remain the best game forever and the treble season in 2001 was fantastic - but the level we are at now is unparalleled with anything before. Long may it continue.
