Manchester City win against Newcastle has saved them face  from the UEFA defeat by Real Madrid. It would have be a dagger at the heart if they dropped points following Liverpool. I think Manchester City board members would have sacked Pep Guardiola or consider move to sign several at least two defenders, a goalkeeper, a midfielder and a striker before competing for European trophy next season.

That is the reason why Manchester city coach do everything possible to defeated Newcastle, for board members not to see any reason for his sack in this season. Manchester city really performed well that made many people to think that this title is for Manchester city because their tactics has changed positively which will be very easy for them to win any match in this season without fear.
