Liverpool need to play better in order to beat Chelsea in the FA cup final. Aston Villa was not as strong as Spurs in defense but Liverpool has not able to take full advantage of the weaknesses. In fact, the slim lead 2-1 caused a nervy ending. Diaz and Tsimikas had done well for another game to keep Liverpool hope.

It's been a very difficult game for liverpool to score more goals, I get annoyed every time liverpool misses the opportunity to score goals, luckily we're already winning the game, but we need one more goal to calm down,

Guess this didnt happen huh but in the end, its still 3 points so its enough to atleast keep Liverpool in title race although honestly at this rate the race is pretty much over already. Gotta hope that City lose their next game but thats definitely not happening and even with the same point, City is currently still taking the top spot

Oh well, I got a bet on Liverpool -1 because I thought they would have dominated Aston Villa but I guess I took the bad timing to bet on handicap

Manchester City is arguably quite advantaged in terms of the match schedule. Because they are now only focused on three matches in the Premier League after losing to the Champions League. while Liverpool are still divided concentration with the Champions League Final and the FA Final.
However, Man City should not take it easy because the competition for the Premier League title is not over. Man City must Reflect on the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals, the situation can change in just minutes, even seconds.

They were pretty close, the difference was just one points, and they ended up with a draw against Spurs on a game they shouldn't have, I mean if it was early on the season that's fine, but when you are this close to winning the championship and you throw it away against a team like Spurs, then you kind of deserve to lose the championship. Not that spurs is a bad team, but we are talking about one of the two teams that dominated the league for a long time now, it would be weird if we said they are equals to spurs.

City will win the premier league, and Liverpool will hope to get UCL and FA and call it a season, and not a bad one at that.

I would not say under performed. The team is literally exhausted and still they are able to grind out results. That is an hallmark of a great team. After the 2-1 victory, Liverpool are now leveled on points with Manchester City who have a game in hand against Wolves. The premier league title looks likely to go down to game week 38.

Yes the squad that played isn't really at 100% so it appears unfair to say they didn't meet a certain standard of performance. The thing is that Man City had the same number of games in the Champions League as Liverpool but they have been trashing their opponents lately so that's also a good basis for comparison.

I still can't believe that mane earns just 100k pounds all these years for all he has done for them. He should leave to a bigger team that will pay him. You see why some of us say that mane actually important than salah in this team. In difficult moment like this he turns up but Salah is a streak scorer. Congratulations to Liverpool for a well deserved victory

Both of them are important, you can't just say because Sadio Mane rescue his team today with that goal that he is better than Mohamed Salah no I don't think so, both of them has their  characteristics and offer different things to their team, for me Salah is more dangerous than him, he scores more, he dribbles more and he open more space with his style of play, while Sadio Mane is more physical and direct than Mohamed Salah, he is a good option and man to go to in games that Salah is mark out.

A very tense match, because as you said Aston Villa almost crushed Liverpool's hopes of winning the Premier League trophy. But fortunately
Liverpool still have players like Sadio Mane who managed to score a goal in the 65th minute to ensure Liverpool's victory. If we look at the match
statistics, however, Liverpool is indeed more worthy of winning the match, but Gerrard as Aston Villa coach was quite successful in making Aston Villa
look impressive and be able to make Liverpool difficult. With a win against Aston Villa, Liverpool have the same points as Man City, Liverpool still have

The north London derby is coming and I was analysing both teams who has the better players  and who is the favourite to win, Harry Kane, Son, Holberg, Ben Davies, Christian Romero, Eric Dier, kulusevski and Hugo Loris can walk straight into this arsenal first eleven without any problems or challenge, so I said to myself if eight players from Tottenham team can displace arsenal players in their favourite position then we all know the better team.so my favourite to win is Tottenham not only they have a better squad but they are also playing at home.

Liverpool managed to get an important point over Aston Villa, and this victory in my opinion is a "gift" from Steven Gerrard to his former club. But even so the Reds failed to coup Manchester City's position at the top of the standings. Now Liverpool have two games remaining, while City still have three games to play, Liverpool's road is a bit tough to get to the championship ladder unless they hope again for Gerrard to block Manchester City's pace.

Yea equalising the goal very fast shows the metal strength of this Liverpool side, if it was not a superb Manchester City team than I we say is unfair that Liverpool won't be winning the league this season, Joel matip came back to the starting lineup and played as if he has never miss any game, nice goal from home I think he offers more balanced when he plays because when they are in possession he is like an extra midfielder, Liverpool attack was sharp despite Mohamed Salah was in the bench.

Both have the same points but have goals different which make Man City be on top. The quick goal from Aston Villa in minute 3 surprised me, but it's not a long time for Liverpool to make it balance. Both playings open at the beginning that looks to make a lot of goals, but the situation in changes Aston villa tends to be defensive after that goal. Now, Liverpool just waiting for the opponent to slip, but it's hard because man city will definitely keep the winning until the last week.

Aston Villa did show a good game. and a little harm to liverpool. but the final result, namely Liverpool's victory, still proves that Liverpool are superior. although the difference is only a little that is 1-2 . I even thought that in the first half the score was still 1-1. I thought it would be a draw until the 90th minute. But fortunately Liverpool can score 1 more goal in the 2nd half. However I bet a lot of trust in Liverpool.

I'm not sure Manchester City will drop points against Wolves FC. Because they also certainly do not want to just lose the opportunity to win that is wide open at this time. Now their points (Liverpool and Manchester City) are the same thanks to Liverpool's win over Aston Villa, although Liverpool have struggled a bit.

Liverpool has already lost the race in the Premier League. Their last game against the Spurs confirmed it.
Next week they will up against Chelsea for the FA Cup finals, upper week against Real Madrid. It is a whole lot of big games ahead of them this May, I just wish they can win a trophy out of the 2 Cups finals to join with Caraboa Cup. If it is possible, let them win both.

Would have been really heartbreaking for all Reds to see Steven gerrald cost them another trophy after that famous slip against Chelsea. But they were not going to have it this time. Now his final assignment for the season  is to try to defeat City on last match day by a good goal margin which I doubt.
