Today's match between Southampton vs Liverpool will be an interesting game, this time i hole Liverpool will prove to the entire world that it worth deserving the second position after Manchester City on the table rank list, i will be glad enough in seeing the moves Southampton is going to give dribbling the host of Liverpool tonight, i want to believe that Liverpool will really prove to us all they are made up by having a win over Southampton.

No doubt to Liverpool favourite today match.Southampton vs Liverpool. Current form Liverpool get advantage today match. Liverpool played very well overall this season. Liverpool have to chance to get full point today match against Southampton. And still have chance to closet point in Manchester city.If Liverpool will win today match and get 3 point then Manchester city gap just 1 point in Liverpool. I Think  Liverpool will win sadly today match.

Southampton cannot threaten Liverpool in today's match, as Liverpool is clearly the favorite. Liverpool should at least win by one or two goals. A win tonight would make the league more interesting. If Liverpool wants to take the Premier League title race to the final day, they must avoid defeat. It will never happen, though, as City will not lose points at home in a final game. It's City that will win the Premier League.

What happened with Liverpool? Southampton already scored against Liverpool. Liverpool are still 1 goal behind. LivepoLivepool will not Play in main XI today match.They can rest some good player for UCL final match.Cz Champion League Final match few days later.So i hope Livepool will be ended in draw at least today match. But City will essy win Leaugue title.

It's not ended till now. Liverpool has enough chance to recover. They have scored a goal also and match is running on 1-1 and I hope Liverpool will be able to win this match against Southampton. If they can manage to win this match, it will help them to survive on the league title and give motivation for UCL final.

It's clear that in this game the chances of liverpool winning the game are less than 40% in my opinion, I see that we don't have much hope in winning the premier league anymore, Southampton FC is gaining space and can score the second goal that way, anyways it's been a sad game for me as a liverpool fan, i expected to see all good players playing and we win this game, but that's hardly going to happen today in this game

It would be a shame if Liverpool had to lose this match, even though today's match was very crucial for Liverpool to continue to stick closely to Manchester City and everyone would want to see the competition for the title to the end.  But who would have thought that Jurgen Klopp fielded almost all the back-up players that made everyone very doubtful.  I guess Klopp really gambled today in terms of player material.  I really hope Liverpool have to win against Southampton!

I think Liverpool really needs to win their game against Southampton to maintain their position in the league table, checking their results recently it's 1:1 draw, Liverpool really need the winning to maintain their close range with Manchester city. With the look of things right now I think Liverpool might win the game after equalizing Southampton in the early first half of the game, Let's see how it goes.

Actually, I want to give credit to Tottenham for making a good comeback and achieving the fourth spot in the league with only one match in hand.

They might as well want to celebrate early on that top 4 considering that their last game is against a relegated Norwich so I kinda doubt that they'll actually lose in the next game. As for Arsenal though, top 5 is actually lame result but considering that they were considered 'done' this season even by their fans after losing few games in the early of this season then I'd say this is still a decent result by Arteta

It looks like Klopp has already given up their league title chance. I'm saying this taking into account that they rotated the lineup a little. But I'll give them that because it really doesn't seem realistic for them to win the title anymore. The first half of their Southampton game has ended by a 1-1 draw and Southampton got ahead first too. But actually Liverpool had full control of the half at the same time. Southampton found the goal by their only goal attempt. Therefore Liverpool can still win this.

Liverpool will definitely win their game against Southampton. It's going to be an easy win for the reds in the second half, although they didn't use most of their key players like Mane and Salah. On the other hand, Southampton are defending third territory, reducing the pressure the reds are putting in the game. Let's wait and see how the second half will go, but I'm 100% sure that Jurgen Klopp side will bounced back in the game. Liverpool are trending everywhere in the English premier league because the have lifted two trophies so far this season.

I do not think that Tottenham is going to lose because they are in a good position and they surely are not going to just give it up. Arsenal is surely going to be disappointed. The back-to-back loss in the past two matches surely hurt them a lot.

I think Arsenal certainly could have done better at this stage of the season. I thought they are going to finish in the top four especially when they made a good comeback after a very bad start in the season. Now I think there will be playing in the Europe League.

I agree that Arsenal's playing in the Champions League next season seems to be a really far possibility as of now. They shouldn't have lost that match easily. I still can't believe how they lost like 2-0 in a very critical match like that. They have done a great job so far but this result made things nearly impossible for them. Arsenal's last match is not easy too even though Tottenham lose somehow. Everton are still in the fight to continue in the Premier League by next season. But let's say Arsenal won, Tottenham wouldn't lose against a team like Norwich at this point anyway.

Tottenham need a win against Norwich City, who've already been relegated to the Championship to confirm their place in the Champions League. A draw would also suffice unless Arsenal improbably overturn a 15-goal difference against relegation-threatened Everton on the same day. This is the most impossible thing ever in football. It's a longshot, and Mikel Arteta will be extremely frustrated that their fate has been taken out of their hands. If Tottenham do not lose at Norwich, Arsenal are all set to finish outside the top four, even if they beat Everton on May 22.

I said yesterday that Newcastle would be a tough opponent for Arsenal... But I didn't expect them to lose by that score! Newcastle have become my favourite this season! I hope they continue to play at the same pace next season...
Southampton are also surprising so far... I wonder when Liverpool will even the score?

Very disappointing result for me personally in that match Arsenal had a lot of problems starting from some injuries to their players, Arteta took a lot of changes in that match. Newcastle is amazing, I can't take any further conclusions that in fact the club can almost hold Liverpool when playing at home, even Liverpool previously only bagged 1 goal at St. James' Park.
Currently Liverpool have taken score 1-1, but this team still dominates this match.

Arsenal's hopes have been dashed despite expecting big in week 38 I think it will not change Arsenal's fate to reclaim the standings, Spurs against Norwich are very easy and deserve to win in week 38.
I am also surprised to see Arsenal like this that Newcastle beat without being able to reply. This is something that is unexpected or a surprise where many expected Arsenal to qualify for the UCL but that is all over this week.
Honestly Antonio Conte made a very good change for the Spurs in such a tight EPL.

Arsenal's dream of playing in the Champions League next season has run aground, unless there is a miracle in the last game. Previously, Arsenal had high hopes of securing the 4th position, but unfortunately the Gunners had to lose at the hands of Tottenham in a crucial party last week and then again swallowed the bitter pill after being crushed by Newcastle.  

Overall, Arsenal's players are not mentally ready when faced with a crucial party, they look nervous and lose their way. For that Arsenal must be introspective with the achievements of this season, the struggle for the Gunners to rise to the top board must be appreciated.

If in were to be Jurgen Klopp, I wouldn't have done anything different in the above featuring. Liverpool cannot win the match with 6goals, so there is no need to risk players for champions league match.
Mane is not in the game, Salah is not in the game, Van dijk, Keita, Alcantra, Arnold and other big names are not in the pitch.
Matip has given Liverpool a lead with a header and it is becoming somehow obvious that Southampton has lost the game and it will make Epl still competitive till the last game of the league.

This game is not just an interesting one but also critical. Sometimes the team will see to be a weaker one in a match always come  out to be the winner, despite Southampton much loose and draws this season, tonight might be a surprising night for Liverpool fans because Southampton can draw or defeat their rival tonight. I was thinking that Arsenal would be victorious against Newcastle to be able to qualify for the Champions League. But after a really bad first half performance, they made things very difficult for themselves by getting 1-0 behind in the 56th minute. Unless Arteta does magic, I don't see it possible that Arsenal can turn the game around.

If Tottenham could loose their next match (most likely not), I think Arsenal can struggle to win Everton, nearly impossible too but football surprised sometimes.

Arsenal really struggled against Newcastle too much and it became their end as a result. I would never have expected Arsenal to lose this game to be honest. Because it was such an important game for them that I thought like they would show one of their best performances. But there was no such thing there. And now, Arsenal have a tough game ahead as you said. Even if they manage to defeat Everton, I don't think Tottenham would make a big mistake against Norwich and lose. So it seems like they are going to the Europa League.

It was just a poor performance from a side fighting for a champions league spot. I am not too sure this Arsenal Squad is ready for any European competition.  Let's face it, this season Arsenal wasn't even in any form of European competition, the best they can expect is to qualify for the Europa League first. Expecting them to qualify for Champions League is asking too much. They are not ready, they can't handle the pressure. Arsenal playerswere bullied off the ball and Newcastle made sure they showed their physicality. They are going to need a few years and a few top quality signings before they can dream of the champions league.

Newcastle had full control of the game. And they silenced Arsenal. It was one of the poorest displays I ever seen from the Gunners ever.  They simply didn’t look as though they wanted 4th place that will now be given to Tottenham.  On the other hand, I was truly impressed by the speed and skill shown by Newcastle. You guys will play champions league within 2 or 3 seasons.

Of course they would want that 4th spot, even if not for the UCL entrance, that part gives a lot more money as well. You would get paid for being fourth, and you would get paid a lot more for being in the UCL as well, both entry to it and also each game pays a good amount of money. That is what I would be after if I was Arsenal.

Yes, they put their situation at a difficult position now, it all comes down to the last game now, 2 point difference and that will be a difficult thing, but at the same time we are talking about something that would be not impossible, if Spurs lose their last game then Arsenal has a chance to become fourth all over again.

I really thought, we would be seeing an Arsenal in the Champions League come next season and they really did see the rays of light in a dark tunnel and somehow, they just shaded it in one humiliating game yesterday against Newcastle United.
Lost to Tottenham last week in a Tottenham 3:0 Arsenal and yesterday, they lost yet another 3 point to Newcastle United in a game that ended 2:0 in favour of Newcastle.
Well, there likes arent needed in the Champions League, Tottenham suits more better. They should continue trying there chances with the Europa, it suits them better.

So what we expect here is the action of Gerrard to be able to hold Manchester City in the match against Aston Villa. Thus Gerrard has indirectly helped Liverpool win the EPL trophy.

I would have vouched for them if it is another team but Arsenal is Always Arsenal, they hardly change that cloth on their skin. If this should have been Real Madrid, I wouldn't just trust them to kick Everton but will also make it a shame by winning them in the dying minute but sadly this is England. 
I don't see the reason why Tottenham will lose to Norwich but if they do and arsenal was able to beat Everton, that will be one of the greatest news that will happen to Arsenal's history. They have been struggling to do what they have done since 2016 but it is not working.

A fantastic win from Liverpool against Southampton. They dominated the whole second half with an unexpected head goal with a 2:1 victory.

This year's premier league cup has finally gone to Manchester City, although Manchester City is just a point above Liverpool with a 6goals difference. A match remains for every club to complete their 38th match.

Liverpool are currently waiting for the slightest mistake from Mancity to occupy that top place to make them the champions of England this season.Nevertheless,Mancity are looking ever ready to beat any opponent that they are to face and make sure they finish the season on top of the premier league table.
It has really been a healthy competition through out the season,as some teams are fighting for the premier league trophy,  while some are fighting it hard to be in the top four.
