Tomorrow is the FA Cup final... I think Chelsea don't stand a chance against Liverpool... Although I don't rule out a draw in regulation time... Should be an English spectacle with expensive actors! Grin The bookies are giving a high odds of 2.15 to win for Liverpool though, which makes you wonder if they'll win easily...
In any case now Liverpool have the upper hand and they definitely want to marry the Carabao trophy to the FA. on the other hand at this time they are also in a pretty good phase except for losing Fabinho who is almost certain to miss this match.
apart from that Chelsea will be in a lot of trouble now and they might just be able to hang on and make the most of the penalty

Although still 1 point ahead of tottenham but it looks like arsenal position and their opportunities are starting to be threatened now, tottenham will face two bottom teams (relegation zone) and if we look logically it looks like tottenham will get easy points in the rest of their matches later, but not so As with arsenal which has to face two teams below it which are quite strong and are starting to experience a resurgence at this time namely newcastle and everton, newcastle and everton which are starting to rise now of course they will play very aggressively to win and I also think arsenal may lose points in the match against newcastle later, because as we know now newcastle is starting to be quite consistent and even they are starting to move up to the middle board after they have been at the bottom of the standings since the beginning of the season.
Oh of course, Arsenal now have to win all the games if they want to be in the Champions League next season. There are no more mistakes they can make because actually Tottenham have the potential to overtake him in the standings after only 1 point adrift. It's a bit surprising to see Arsenal's performance in that match, but this is a derby that is very profitable for Tottenham after Arsenal only played with 10 players.

Everton, who are actually not safe from the relegation zone, will probably be a big threat to Arsenal because they will definitely target a win to keep their chances of surviving in the Premier League next season. The same will be done by Newcastle because they have lost 6 points from their last 2 matches.

Right now everything is possible after the defeat that was obtained by arsenal in the derby match, the match was actually quite tight before arsenal got a red card, but carelessness of holding made arsenal have to play 10 men and that clearly benefits tottenham. Facing a team that has the motivation to avoid the relegation zone is not easy, because a team like everton will certainly put in their best performance to win the match, especially after getting an important victory from chelsea, everton are unbeaten in their last 2 matches so this should be Arteta attention so they can keep the chances of playing in the champions league next season.

Arsenal would have just gotten at least a point from Tottenham Hotspur for them to kill Spurs hopes of catching up with them but anyways Arsenal may still make the top four beating both Newcastle and Everton in the remaining games. Arsenal would’ve had boxed off the top four if not forced to play the first three games with numerous COVID-19 cases before others were allowed to call their games off. I think they deserve to be in the top four because they have won the third most games in the league this season

My guess was that the match between Tottenham and Arsenal would be a draw. But unfortunately Arsenal has been badly beaten. Son and Kane's attacks they failed to resist. Even after the defeat in this match, Arsenal is 1 point ahead of Tottenham. And so depending on the last two matches, Arsenal will be able to qualify for the Champions League. They have to win the last two matches anyway.

I have doubts that Arsenal can beat their match in the last 2 matches, unfortunately I am afraid of Arsenal because of their performance in the last matches. They don't play football like they did a few weeks ago and they actually make a lot of mistakes about losing points.
Maybe they won't be able to finish the league in the order they think because of the points they lost in the last game Smiley

It is not too slim actually. Because Arsenal are still one point ahead of them in the end. But it is the truth that their job is going to be more difficult now. Because Arsenal's remaining games are more difficult to win than Tottenham's. Arsenal are going to face Newcastle and Everton. And Tottenham's competitors are going to be Burnley and Norwich. Arsenal will need to have one of their best performances. Otherwise, Tottenham would benefit from it nicely.

Newcastle and Everton are strong opponents for Arsenal. Of course, Arsenal will have to win these two matches by performing well. But why do you think Tottenham's opponent is weak? Burnley may have won just 7 matches this season. But they have won 3 of the last 4 matches. I don't see any reason to think this team is weak now. However, Tottenham may easily win against Norwich

Why would anyone underate Burnley? Who are currently fighting a relegation battle and every match seems like a final to them all, they beat Tottenham in the first leg this season and will most likely beat them again to avoid relegation. This is the most important game of the season because both teams need a point to advance.

I really agree with your sentence "stop betting on the Premier League" because in this league all teams are very competitive in playing every game, for example Arsenal's defeat to Tottenham yesterday which gave a great opportunity for Tottenham to take fourth place in the standings from Arsenal.
Do you think Arsenal will be able to maintain fourth position in the standings?

I think that depends on the team you are predicting, it is not all premier league matches that are bad in outcomes. I have bet with arsenal many times and I can confidently say that they aren't reliable for betting. They will rekt your ticket and the chances of making it with the remaining matches if you are betting many matches in a single slip. It is better you don't rely on teams that you are not sure about their outcomes, Manchester United and Arsenal were the only teams that ended most of my tickets.

While Burnley's attack may have surprised big sides in couple of matches this season but their defense has been the worrying department. They have struggled defensively and quite catch upto players with speed. Son and Kane have been deadly recently. With Kane's vision and Son's pace , I don't see Burnley going strong against them unless they have a plan.

Yesterday also Son's pace troubled Soares and Holding. Holding was sent off for his horrible fouls on Son but Soares was also having trouble catching upto players on left hand side.

The thing you said is true. It is still not the end for Burnley in this season. Still they have a chance to hold onto the Premier League tightly depending on the results they will get from now on. Tottenham must be aware of that certainly and play according to it. They defeated Arsenal by a solid result but this shouldn't cause them to be complacent I mean. However Burnley still have a tougher job than Tottenham I think. Because Burnley haven't beaten Tottenham even for once in an away game in the league. I assume I'm not mistaken now. Hence I also feel like Tottenham will win this.

Tottenham has the easier games on paper, but they are also 1 point behind. Arsenal has a rather difficult game in Newcastle on Monday. If they manage to win this then their chances are pretty good. I think whichever teams wants to reach/keep rank 4 will need to get 6/6 points out of those remaining 2 games.

I found a bet on bwin for who will be 4th:
Arsenal 1.83
Tottenham 1.91
So this is almost 50-50, bookmakers see an open race between the two.

With a high degree of probability, we can assume that if Arsenal win against Newcastle, they will take 4th place. It's funny that the quotation for the victory of Arsenal practically coincides with the quotation for the 4th place - 1.85. But still, it is more profitable to bet on wins than on the final place - a multibet from two matches will give a much better odds.

Newcastle is not an easy opponent to beat by Arsenal and also Arsenal's performance is very unstable, especially after experiencing a big defeat against Tottenham I think it will affect the mentality of the team to look at the next match, in the remaining two matches and the difference is only 1 point I think all possibilities are still possible and their chances are still 50-50 very reasonable. even personally I favor Tottenham to be able to finish in 4th position at the end of the season.

Good insight [+1] , checking on Kane will really make those room to plays very less but it will be a huge task to keep a check on him. Also, there is Kulusevski on the right who also has been the man in form so might wanna have to check that too. Well Burnley are in fight for relegation so they will have a plan for sure so should be an interesting to see how they plan to drag Spurs down in the next fixture.

A back four (4) with two DM solves the problem, give Kane a man marking and Kulusevski will have limited counter passes; he's been a top player and adapted so well since his arrival in January, he's having the best time of his career right now; he's another player who needs to be stopped from cutting in from the edge of the box; he's quick and has good eyesight for passes. To be honest, I think it'll be a tough game.

Tottenham vs arsenal game did not end as expected, no one predicted a 3 0 win for tottenham the game was really close despite the large score if arsenal did not had that early red card the outcome would've been different they were on a winning streak they won their four last games and they had a decent performance despite the loss now they have to be carefull since tottenham are one point behind.

The problem at Arsenal is not huge, but then it is massive; Arteta would rather play 3 individuals who were not a CB in the back 3 against Spurs ousting and disregarding Ben White who cost 50M. With Holding missing a tie, Gabriel injured; Would Arteta repeat the same? Newcastle United are a different team; difficult to crack down, Would Arsenal find it easy? i guess not. I am rooting Newcastle United for a win/draw. Arsenal cannot win this tie

What a passionate and ambitious Coach ( Antonio Conte ) believe me I have never downgraded him for one single day.
I turned a big fan at he's time during he's days at Chelsea as head coach.
He should qualify for the Champions League, although Emirates have fought very hard for this position.
Two games ahead will decide who takes the spot but Arsenal still leads despite the  loss last night.
Position 4 of the PL standings is increasingly interesting to wait for the remaining 2 more matches that each of them must go through. 1 point is not a good resistance for Arsenal who is still in the position of qualifying for UCL because the opponents they will face are in good condition (Newcastle United) and are in a pinched condition (Everton). Antonio Conte will make the chance to win against Burnley at Tottenham Hotspur as his main target to bring Son to UCL.

Tottenham got the win they wanted against Arsenal by a result like 3-0. It was a fully satisfying win for Tottenham for certain. Arsenal got a very early red card and this affected them quite negatively. The game was already finished for them after.
I think it is a too easy win for Tottenham because they played against 10 Arsenal players only. You are right, the red card is too early, Arsenal lost their balance since the minute 33' because of Rob Holding's mistake. Since Arsenal played with 10 players, I didn't feel the match was interesting anymore. We know Tottenham deserves to win, they often defeated big teams, but it shouldn't be in this way. Sure, cannot blame the referee, just disappointed with the way of the match. However, Tottenham gt 3 points and they are trying to challenge Arsenal for UCL zone.

Yeah, unfortunately the game was very disappointing. But we have nothing to do about it I'm afraid. I also hoped to see a big competition between these teams as they have had a good season in general. But that red card made things really boring all of a sudden. But at least, we can have a bigger rivalry this time on the remaining two weeks of the season. The point gap is only one and they have almost the same probability to qualify for the CL.

Burnley do usually play with 4-4-2 so Cork and Brownhill plays as more of a center mid role so they might be taking some part in defensive duties. Well I haven't seen them that effective but when it's relegation on the line then they will be pushing themselves out in the game for sure. It's not far out, we will see how Burnley handles them. Also besides Spurs just had a game so players might not be in the best shape so maybe this works out as a slight favour for Burnley.

Tottenham deservedly won this match with a good team game. Tottenham start the new season much stronger with three or four person transfers. Conte brought Tottenham back. First he was shaken a little under the debris left by Mourinho but then he recovered in a way worthy of his own quality. He also imposed his own style. Congratulations Conte.

Totthenham did really well and Arsenals were bit low on moral too.
Have they had not received the red card they would not have won it. I think Tottenham are lucky in this tournament and they have been playing some amazing games.

After Mourinho left Tottenham was still in bad shape. Once Conte came i dont know what he done to the team but they are a new team that really wins o most every game. If they played like this from the start of the season no doubt that they would have fought for the title
