There is almost no possibility whatsoever when a team that is in a slump like Chelsea has to play against a team that is very consistent and strong at the start of this season like Brighton, so it is clear that Chelsea will be very under pressure in this match while Brighton just needs to maintain their positive trend.

Sure Pochettino should be giving more chance to get more use to the team, perhaps he is yet to understand the concept and patterns that propells Chelsea performance in times of playing, almost every coaches may likely find it difficult or challenging copping or understanding the players as a first timer coming to coach the club so poor performance of the club is actually expected but with time him will set the team on were they are supposed to be, although Pochettino is really under a huge pressure with the low performance of the club and losing matches from small clubs which they are supposed to win.

However, Pochettino cannot be completely blamed, maybe Pochettino needs to adapt to the Chelsea players because in the current Chelsea team everything is occupied by new people, new management, new players and a new coach and almost all the players in the current Chelsea squad are management's choice. The team is not from Pochettino, so in my opinion it is natural that up to now Pochettino's tactics cannot be carried out well by the players.

Brighton is a stumbling block for other clubs, especially if with the current state of Chelsea, of course it is very possible for Brighton to beat Chelsea in this match. I will not say this match is a match of proof from Chelsea, because even if they win it is what they should get if their situation is not like now. But will they be able to do it? The only positive match was vs Liverpool where they got a draw in the beginning of the season, we all thought that Chelsea is getting better then negative results followed quickly.

When Chelsea played their first match this season, which was against Liverpool, they played a fantastic ball in the match. I thought Chelsea was already back to form, but I am just surprised at how everything changed for Chelsea. Chelsea played well in all their preseason matches, and I am just surprised that everything changed for Chelsea when the season started. Even with a new coach and players, Chelsea is still playing poorly, just the same way they played last season, and I won't even be surprised if Chelsea ends the league in the worst position this season. I don't know how Pochettino is going to improve the club's performance because I already lost hope in Chelsea this season.

I blame Pochettino also for defeats and points loss but also players and staff. The dysfunction in this club is getting more obvious throughout years no matter how much they spent to fix it.
Just imagine losing today vs Brighton in EFL Cup and leaving it that early..

I blame the coach, players, and entire Chelsea management for Chelsea's poor performance. Just see how poor Chelsea players are playing. Am not expecting anything special in the match, am expecting Chelsea to lose their match against Brighton in the EFL today. I even have confidence in Brighton and am sure they will win the match. With Chelsea's current performance, the match is not supposed to be a difficult one for Brighton. Let's just hope Chelsea won't concede many goals in the match. I don't think both teams will play with the main squad considering this is only an EFL competition and maybe some of the main players will be rested in this match. However, this is the right match for Chelsea to try something new before starting their Premier League matches this week. Pochettino must provide something different in this match, especially against Brighton, which has had a very good performance so far. Should they play at home they can win and I hope Chelsea can do it. Apart from that, I think Brighton will probably try to rotate their players in this match so that they don't get too tired in a busy schedule.

Luton team deserves to be in England national or conference whatever that low league is called after seeing the game of yesterday night in EFL cup where they were beaten by Exeter City.They absolutely do not deserve to be staying in the Premier League and they need to get out of it as soon as possible,in fact I was a fan of them coming in the Premier League when the play offs to come here were being played but now I see this was not worthy at all,they need to go down deep inside lower leagues,they are not showing anything yet nor in the Premier League nor in the cup nor nowhere else.

We can't use the result from the summer series in the upcoming match. Chelsea is really in a very bad position this time. It's almost impossible to win against brighton with the current form. Chelsea lack of good attackers.
I don't even know what strategy that will use by pochettino but my guess if he will be doing another non sense experiment to the club. I knew that if this is only EFL but poch needs to take it as a serious match.

It seems like it's not just Luton because in fact, the three teams currently in the relegation zone all is the promoted teams like Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United. So yes, I personally don't care about their results in the EFL Cup because anyway, in that event sometimes the top teams also can have bad results there. At least, the current promoted teams do not seem to have a good chance of being able to compete in the Premier League.

Because after all, the Premier League has been very developed over time, even teams like Brighton, Aston Villa and there are still several other teams that in the past were still struggling in the lower zone in the standings. The FA has finally put its charge on the Chelsea star, Reece James for violating its rules and regulations (Rule E3) after his, what they reffered to as, “improper, insultive, or abusive” behavior and words in the club's match with Aston Villa towards a match official in the tunnel immediately after they had exited the pitch. I am pretty sure he was annoyed by the loss of the match over the Aston Villa's goal by Ollie Watkins.

For me that was a reaction taken too far and the FA took the right decision to have disciplined the player for his non-chalant behavior. Regardless of what happened at the pitch, you cannot transfer the aggression to an official over your failure to win a match. He didn't stop your club from winning, when you had the opportunity. Like the replies above-mentioned suggested, Chelsea is not in good form and most of your players are in injury, so, it is the duty of Pochettino to continue to restrategize for a win. Chelsea hss been consistent in it's underperformance and needs to brace up at this moment.

Reece James who is also the captain of the club needs to respond to the FA by 29th of this month.

Wow, this is really huge for the Arsenal manager because we really don't know when to expect at least 3 of those players but I still think Arteta isn't pressured by the injury scare at the moment, he has been in this situation before talking about the way and manner he went about business last season when some of his players were out due to injury.
The major concern now isn't the Bournemouth game on Saturday but the game against Brentford in the Carabao cup tonight, and if Arsenal can get past the Bees tonight then I feel he'll look for a more better strategy on Saturday.
Let's see how they'll play out tonight's game, I just hope the injury players won't show in terms of their positions, let the replacement do the job tonight.

Sheffield, on the other hand, conceded 8 goals from Newcastle United in the last match. This was one of the most remarkable victories in the Premier League. Now the quality of the teams at the top of the Premier League has increased so much that the teams at the bottom are desperately trying to finish the 90 minutes.

There would be presence of strong teams that have outstanding results in games and existence of average clubs that have zero contributions. Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United are in the relegation zone, I do emphasized remorse feelings towards these mediocre teams because if they failed to reciprocate within estimated time, they might find themselves back to the championship where they came from. These clubs have just scored a points, nothing more and nothing less, however the league is yet to shoot far, so we would expects the very best from them in league games.

The opening game on this week is going to be Aston Villa - Brighton. I think this is a candidate to be one of the lovely games of the week. Because both sides have made a really solid start this season. Especially Brighton are near unstoppable because they only lost to West Ham at the beginning. They are following Manchester City - Liverpool duo right behind which is impressive.

Aston Villa are also doing just fine now. After losing to Liverpool they maintained a strong mental and they are on a winning streak of two games. When it comes to the head-to-heads between Aston Villa and Brighton there is an interesting statistics. Aston Villa beat them in their last 4 official games. They are slightly favoured for the win now too. Maybe I can add Aston Villa's double chance to my parlay.  

This is indeed a quite surprising fact if we look at the history of meetings between these two clubs. Because in the last 5 meetings between Brighton vs Aston Villa we can see that Brighton has never won once. Even last season when Brighton was in very good performance at that time. Still, Brighton continues to experience defeats both at home and away.

But in the coming week, when Brighton will face Aston Villa again, I think it is time for Brighton to break the bad results that Brighton had when facing Aston Villa. With Brighton's current performance, Brighton should be the favorite in this match. It's just that I will also understand if there will be many people betting on Aston Villa because they see their head to head plus next week's match Aston Villa will also be the host.

I would guess that Brighton could be different this season, plus Villa is different this season as well. I am guessing that it is going to be a bit different and we are going to end up with something different in the end as well. That should provide some sort of problems for them but that doesn't mean that we are not going to end up with anything that would be remarkable.

I hope that we will see a brighton win because that is who I am going to bet on, and yes they might be unlucky so far but I bet that this week will be the one where their luck will finally turn and they will get a win. They have been a pretty good team so far and that should probably go on for a while longer as well, it would really help everyone.

In the following week, 2 of the 3 teams we discussed will have quite tough matches, Burnley who will meet Newcastle and Sheffield United who will meet WHU, I'm not sure these two teams can add to their points in the next matchday. If you want to bet, I advise you to pay more attention to Burnley, because they will face Newcastle who managed to make a big win against Sheffield.

For Luton Town, I'm sure they will at least get 1 point, because they are only facing Everton, whose performance has not been very good since last season.
