Both Manchesters screwed up tonight with City making the biggest surprise of the league.Normally when a lot of favorites will be playing against weaker teams we will usually have surprises in such league like the Premier League and this is not the same as Bundesliga where quite some times all the favorite win their games.

Everything else come as expected with Newcastle and West Ham winning their games as favorites while this Luton team I cannot see where they are going,I mean great for them to get a win but they could not beat a lower league team in the EFL cup,most probably their utmost priority is remaining in the Premier League.

I still don't know what's stopping Everton from going to relegation all these while, imagine them (Everton) playing very well in the last 2 games and now lost to a very struggling Luton side, I mean what's happening to this Everton team?
I was expecting another win to at least increase the morale of Everton but they were excellently poor.
Luton has a way to even do better in their next game at least they have their first win of the campaign. Let's see how they'll go about the next game against a firing Tottenham, anything can still happen.

I agree, this is really miserable performance from them in this game against newly promoted side which have their first win of this season with this defeat I have feeling they are lost on mindset as well because their mentality is completely down, and they are having not fair chance for the survival into this season after having two tough seasons of survival.

After having two important away wins against Brentord in Premier League and Aston Villa in EFL Cup now losing match in this way is surely not good sign now things are going from bad to worse for them which is clearly indicating they need to be competitive in future if they want to have better things next few matches are going to be completely dead deals for them specially against teams like Liverpool and West Ham.

Today is a day of surprises in the EPL... First, Villa buried Brighton, scoring six goals...

Villa dealt a huge blow in the profile of De Zerbi. Ansu Fati was able to just make it less shameful by scoring one goal. I do not want to agree that Brighton may be going into a crisis, but I will see from their next game.

Now Wolves beat City, but the game is not over yet...

The game today showed how very important Rodri is for Manchester City. Wolves did what many big teams have not been able to do. Newcastle started it in the Carabao cup and Wolves had the motivation from there that they can do it, and they did. Manchester City dropping points, loosing two consecutive games, and have given other teams like Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham a chance to catch up.

It will be interesting to see how Liverpool will play against Spurs...

Liverpool now playing with ten men. Jones has been sent out for a bad tackle on Bissouma. the game will be harder for Liverpool now, but not impossible. For Tottenham, it is an advantage for them.

Arteta for ones never let the Bournemouth side to play their normal game that's to defend till the end and Arsenal on the other hand don't know how to beat a defending side like Bournemouth, but today the Gunners came with something different to beat the home side Bournemouth.
But what I found interesting in that game is Bokayo Saka, he was unselfish in that encounter, 2 penalties and he gave it to the team captain Odegaard and the surprising one was Kia Havartz who got the second penalty, that alone would boost the morale of Havartz, I hope.
Wasn't expecting what I witnessed today to happen, if it was some players they would have taken all 2 penalties to complete the hat trick but Saka wasn't a greedy player, that's a true team player.

It is very sad when looking at the standings and seeing Chelse can only collect 5 points from the 6 matches they have played. Of course this is a very far thing from their habits in the last few seasons when they were still in good shape.
They are ranked 15th now and very close to the relegation zone, it is still early to talk about their position, because the match has just entered week 7. But still this must be a concern for them, because if they cannot rise, then the threat of relegation is a real thing that is in front of them. I hope they can rise faster.

Of course, it is still too early to make any conclusions about Chelsea this season especially regarding its ranking, but Chelsea can be said to have had a bad start to the season. 5 points in 6 matches is not a great achievement for Chelsea, but this team has certainly improved in terms of the quality of its play.

I may agree that Chelsea lacks a great striker in their squad, but I am not underestimating Nicolas Jackson's ability as a center forward. We know that is a fact, but I believe Pochettino will have good options if Christopher Nkunku recovers. This week Chelsea will visit Fulham's headquarters, this will be a good turning point to get good results.

Liverpool had to be willing to play with 10 players because one of their players received a red card for a hard foul. This results in Liverpool's plans for this match being disrupted and they have the potential to be another top 4 team that will lose apart from Manchester City.

I just came home and saw the results of the games, I'm so glad that United (and City) lost! This is a bit unusual for a United fan, but I want this terrible Ten Hag story to end and for him to be sacked. And I get a special kind of pleasure when I read his post-match interviews where he finds a thousand reasons why everyone is to blame except him. Looking forward to publication

It was really beyond everyone expectations, for Manchester United I'm not surprised they got such a bad result, even though basically they should have won the match because they were playing at home. BTW, don't forget the result Luton Town got today, they finally got a good result in their sixth game in the PL. Now there are 3 teams left who don't have a win on their record for this season, they are Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield United.

Manchester United experienced another victory crisis, and Crystal Palace managed to avenge their previous defeat against United at Old Trafford. Ten Hag has not completely succeeded in concocting the right formula for the Red Devils squad, even though Crystal Palace victory would more accurately be called luck. Wolves deserve to be called the club that had great luck in the seventh week, because they were surprisingly able to beat defending champions Manchester City by a narrow score. City suffered their first defeat in the EPL, although they were disappointed because they were defeated by a non-seeded club, but it was not a big problem.

Yes Luton managed to change their bad luck for the first time, three points which kept them out of the relegation zone which is currently occupied by Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield. Liverpool has the opportunity to shift City position at the top, if they succeed in beating Tottenham.

          Tottenham Hotspur Vs Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool lock horns in a premier league derby,  which seems to be the match of the day with son taking the lead for Tottenham and also taking advantage of ten man Liverpool side, as the reds had one of the player sent off for stamping a Tottenham player. From all indications Tottenham seem to be in control of the game as James Madison and his team mate richarlison are wrecking havoc in the defence line of the reds causing several upsets.on the other hand the Liverpool trying hard to back into the game by forcing a double save out of Tottenham goal keeper and also finally getting an equaliser with a wonderful turning shot by gakpo getting Liverpool back into the game.
It would have been 2-1 this first half in favour of Liverpool if not for that disallowed Diaz goal.

Tottenham Hotspur are really finding it hard to beat the Liverpool team even with the red card is still hard for them. If  this stays like this till full time then this Tottenham team don't have what it takes to be in the top 4.
Liverpool are now known for coming back from a goal down to win the game but I can't see this game going their (Liverpool) way in as much as they're playing with one man down it's still doesn't show that they have a red card. I just hope the second half would be another entertaining football. I still see this game ending in a draw.

Today we have a day of upsets in Premier League with Manchester City having first defeat of this season and Luton having first win of this season after promotion and unpredictable Manchester United is also having fourth defeat of this season which is clearly indicating things are not good for them after beating Crystal Palace in EFL Cup now today they were completely unable to produce any goal which give them this another defeat Manchester City is having second consecutive defeat after losing against Newcastle Untied now they lost against Wolves.

These upsets are exactly what I did not expect. The first unexpected outcome was Everton's defeat to Luton Town at Goodison Park. I expected Everton to win their second Premier League game, but Luton Town were fortunate to achieve their first league win away from home, which is their best performance in this season's Premier League campaign. I am delighted for them, and I hope they continue to fight for survival and a place in the Premier League at the end of the season. Wolves overcame Premier League champions Manchester City 2-1 after going four games without a win. This is a big win for them statistically; they've been losing to Manchester City for a long time, and this is a big win for them and this three has given them confidence to stay away from relegation zone.

Yes, Tottenham played well and they really put Liverpool under pressure throughout the first half. Gakpo's goal was really important for Liverpool to maintain their hopes of not losing even though they were playing with 10 players, but I agree they will have difficulties in the second half because Tottenham will attack more persistently to win their home game.

Liverpool must play focused on defense and counterattack, this is a good strategy when they are short of players. Alisson Becker played well and made a lot of saves, but I don't know if he was able to keep his goal without conceding again in the second half.

Aston Villa defeated Brighton at home. I didn't expect them to win 6-1, at least not by that much. They closed the first half 3-0 ahead, but at the beginning of the second half brighton scored with Ansu Fati and just when I was about to say that brighton started to close the gap, they scored again 10 minutes later and the score was 4-1. The last 2 goals of the match came in the last minutes. Despite having more possession of the ball, Brighton struggled to find goals and there is a decline compared to last year. They need to recover as soon as possible.

It’s just a difficult to accept outcome for Liverpool, another week and yet another red card with Vigil just coming from suspension and Jones has gone to replace him in suspension with a straight red. It was a little nasty but, there isn’t much he could do with his both legs stretched, there wasn’t any coming back from that.

I don’t think there would be any win in this game for Liverpool, the best they could hope for is a draw. Tottenham have got the home advantage, have complete 11 players on the pitch as against 10 men for Liverpool, Tottenham continues to show strength in the face of resilience from Liverpool and they’ve been setting the pace for the game. I expect a win for Tottenham in this fixture.

It doesn't seem easy for Tottenham to beat Liverpool and so far Liverpool are playing very well even though they only have 10 players, they are playing very solidly in defending their defense.
And what was even more impressive was Alisson Becker because he protected the goal very well, and managed to thwart several hard shots from Tottenham.
Tottenham's opportunity to score another goal is wide open and they must also be able to take advantage of Liverpool's 10 players.

Edit: Liverpool's player has just received another red card, namely Diogo Jota and currently there are only 9 Liverpool players left, can Tottenham take advantage of this good opportunity to score the second goal. If not and only get a draw until the end of the match, it means Liverpool is much better than Tottenham.

The game scoresheet is 1-1, absolutely a dissapointing game, the referee, Simon Hooper spoiled the whole game the moment he issued out a second red to Diogo Jota. Liverpool fans weared frown faces as they hoped to secured a draw tie. Spurs boss, Angelos Postecoglou will motivate his players to try shooting outside the box. Terrible day for Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur stadium. 2 red cards been issued out to the Reds, I doubt if Jurgen Klopp men will be able to absorbed the pressure fired by Tottenham Hotspur. Klopp keen on making some changes to ease the pressure of the game.

For this second half, the work rate of Manchester United has greatly improved, because the midfield has been conquered  by Manchester United, though garnacho presence might just make a difference hopefully.
Crystal palace goal keeper has gotten some brilliant saves there, this pressure on the keeper is because the Manchester United are now forcing the attack now than ever. The cross over by Dallot would have been a beautiful goal if mount was just careful with his header.
 Another thing I noticed about United, is that they don't really have a creative player that can make dribbles and passess to help the strikers to score. Palace might just end up winning this game from all indications

Manchester United's performance was not poor; they really tried their best because everybody knows that Manchester United play Crystal Palace. Just because Crystal Palace has a strong defense, that's why Manchester United's no-fit score. As it stands now, Manchester United don drop back to 9th because of Crystal Palace, and Manchester United don play 7 matches and win 3; they come lose 4th.
