Good games and plenty of goals today. Liverpool won comfortably. Chelsea lost at home, bad start goes on. Great London derby is over with draw but nobody talk about Newcastle here? I'm surprised it's missed by many people.
Newcastle United scored 8 goals against Sheffield United in away game. It was a big disaster for home team. Sheffield United only have 1 point in first 6 games, it looks like they will go back to Championship quickly. With that squad they don't have much chance anyway, team quality is below average for Premier League. Burnley and Luton Town also are pretty weak teams and probably they will be relegated as well. Normally we don't see this much difference between Premier League teams but these three were way below others quality.

Liverpool are back on track, as we look forward to Liverpool vs Man City.
Chelsea's situation is getting worse, Pochettino is not making any changes.

Those 8 goals looked pretty easy for Newcastle. The 3 promotions to the Premier League show nothing but they are just weak teams that continue to be slaughtered by the 3 teams with 1 point, it seems that they are getting harder and harder to be in the Premier League so I wouldn't be surprised if they get relegated again.

Chelsea has missed it again upon the huge amount of money their president approved for their manager to signed in new players in this season to help the team to over come some challenges they are facing since the president took over the team. Chelsea players need more good training that will make them to stand well for people to believe that they can make it to top four because, fans are not happy the way they missed this opportunity to allow small team to beat them upon the good performance Chelsea secured from the match. Manchester united use their opportunity to beat their opponent 1:0 to improve their points so that there will be trust from their fans that they will use the remaining opportunity well not to allow their coach to loose their job in this season.

It appears that Chelsea's problem is not one of money rather, it is one of management, as they spent a significant amount of money last season to better the club's performance but could not fix their problem. Even with all of the signings, the situation is not improving, and all of this will be a burden to the owner because the team is struggling to produce results while he is spending money. the players are not doing what is expected of them they look weak from every angle. the fans of Chelsea are always keeping mute any time their club is playing because they are avoiding other fans making fun of them. and it will be impossible for Chelsea to be top four that will only happen while dreaming. and performance is not considered an achievement only goals count, they should better improve their performance and start scoring goals

Chelsea are really continuing to be more disappointing every week. I don't know when they will wake up from this nightmare. There are memes about Chelsea all over the internet rightfully. Pochettino has really nothing to do about this situation as it seems. I really don't understand this. There have been so much money spent and they have a decent manager as well but still no good result.

I started to think that this is related to the management of the whole team rather than the players or manager. Maybe Boehly is doing something wrong and this is still causing Chelsea to be unsuccessful.

Yep, Liverpool is in the second place now. They never got a loss so far, only got 1 draw only. If this can continue, it is very possible that Liverpool to compete for the title with Man City.

Indeed. There is no change in Chelsea performance. They even just got a loss again Aston Villa at home. I don't know why Chelsea players are too difficult to adapt and they can't play effectively. In some matches, they won the ball possession, even with the current match against Aston Villa. But they have always a problem in scoring goals.

Newcastle showed their quality to Sheffield United. I think Sheffield United aren't ready to play in EPL this season. They are in the bottom of EPL standings now, they are the team with highest conceded goals.

Been issue a red card is not enough reason for Chelsea to lose this game against Aston Villa. Chelsea finding it difficult to win games, scoring goals is big challenge for them, I just can't apprehend the problem of the team, either the fault is from the owner, coach or the players. Chelsea is at their terrible form, currently any average random club have good probabilities to win the blues in league games. Chelsea have no clue on the competitive race they found themselves, they keep losing points against these average sides, they often get me upset but managed to put myself together because they've been like that since last season.

The team that is studded with players with an above average level of quality is Chelsea. But those expectations will never happen because they lose and lose every game. In the 6 matches they have completed, Chelsea only recorded 1 win, which is a bad record for Pochettino. In his career with Chelsea this season, Pochettino was unable to bring about big changes, his performance was almost the same as the previous coach.

This week they again failed to get points and their ranking fell further down the standings. There is not a busy schedule but they are still unable to give their focus to improving this season. I think Chelsea is already a weak team and their opponents can easily beat them. This result made Caicedo et al have to bear the shame because the visiting team easily beat them at the Stamford Bridge stadium.

Although Newcastle United had also played this game against Tottenham and Aston Villa in the past weeks, the game was very clean in those matches. They scored eight goals today, and it was a different situation that each goal was scored by a different player. In other words, Newcastle United made 15 accurate shots. The Sheffield goalkeeper made important saves as well as scoring 8 goals. It was a memorable 6th week match. The Premier League gets hotter as the weeks go by.

Newcastle simply exploited Sheffield United and took advantage of their team because this is the same Newcastle United team that have suffered three losses in six games this season. It was a good game and interesting goals like that of Gordon.

For Chelsea, I don't have anything to add other than the fact that they were scammed on those Caicedo and Enzo deals. Jackson is just frustrated with the team. Good thing he's sitting the next game out.

Chelsea are finding it difficult to win and thats not Pochetino fault at all; chelsea have about 5 wins in 38 games; Pochetinno is yet to coach 10 games; you cannot blame him for chelsea woes. Meanwhile, you can hold the coach responsible for the poor performances this season, especially in the EPL.

Will Chelsea bounce back, NO; Chelsea won't be making top 4 this season or next season; the squad is not good enough, and the young players with potentials cannot flourish in the london club either. Its a long decade ahead for Chelsea supporters; the squad is simply good enough only for the EFL Championship.

If they continue to loose more matches I think they might not even finish above 10th in the league and not very sooner or later, I think the Era of Pouchettino might come to an end, because Todd Boehly is not happy about their performance, he's invested alot to make them stronger this season and they've not getting any better, he's growing out of patience and would soon start seeking for other solutions, and probably might conclude on thinking of another Alternative for Pouchettino.
 
 However if my speculations are right, Pouchettino might end up being the 3rd coaches that would be sacked by Todd Boehly, but to avoid that from occurring, he needs to think fast and come up with a solution that would make them to start winning matches, because that's the only way he'd impress the board and save his managerial role in the club.

 Well I don't blame the coach for their poor performance considering the amount of injured players presently in the team, that makes the manager to lack a good number of quality options left on the bench,Chelsea might suffer this season due to injury, but if the board pardon Pouchettino due to the injury crisis he's facing, I believe they'll start performing well again when all their injured players recovers fully.

Liverpool continued their winning streak.Liverpool defeated their strong rival West Ham 3-1 at home

It was an impressive win for Liverpool as they triumphed and got valuable 3 points; but it was not against a strong rival, westham is not rival to Liverpool; instead west ham is just a strong middle table team. With goals from Mohammed Salah, Nunez and Jota securing the 3 poiints.

And also, Moyes bad streak against the top clubs continues, no wins away in over 50 games against top club sides in the English Premier League

The win against West Ham was very predictable in this game from Klopp and his players.
The good thing about this match was about their player, Nunez.
Nunez was under pressure in Liverpool because of the bad performance he had in the past but maybe the goal in this game can help him to get motivated and have a better performance in the next games

It was extremely unfortunate for Chelsea, and they are continuing in their poor form as the season progresses. They’ve given them multiple trainings and have yet to see any improvement from them. Could it be that the new manager isn't fit for the position, or that the players he brought in aren't good enough to blend and make a difference for Chelsea? This is really concerning, and I can only think how much worse it will be for them by the end of the season if they do not improve their playing style and establish an excellent record for themselves at this early point of the competition.

The Coach understands what is at stake for him, thus he would not jeopardise his job by allowing the team players to perform poorly. Yes, that's right. Looking at the Premier league table right now sents familiar chills down my spine. Liverpool in second place amd City in first. We have seen this a couple of times in recent years, I hope it would be different this season but I'm overly enjoying Liverpool's recent performances.

As for Pochettino, I'm surprised they still let him manage the team. In the last 2 years, Chelsea don't let it get this bad to fire their management. It would've been a lot faster considering how much money and resources were poured in the team in the recent transfer window.

It's same story that keeps repeating again and again. I meant let's take a look at how chelsea was not able winning any home or away games which is very disappointed. Chelsea could not score and this has become the main problem since tuchel has gone to the bayern.
I don't even know what's wrong with chelsea but this club has no good guy who can positioning himself in the right position to receive deflected balls and chelsea players have horrible finishing. This team is shit but and i don't believe in the process of chelsea.
Losing at home against forest and aston villa were very disappointed result. I don't even know what else to tell you but this club played like non EPL club. The chelsea makes a lot of chances but waste it all.

I dunno how long chelsea can keep to stay out of relegation zone with its current form. In my opinion if this is unacceptable thing as a club that has spent billion of money but worth nothing.

This must be more than enough for the players to improve their morale. They got a valuable point from Milan in the Champions League too you know.

Checking Arsenal and some players they had this season, I think Real Madrid was lucky because they didn't buy Kai Havertz in the summer.
After Benzema left Real Madrid they wanted to use Kai Havertz.
Arsenal bought some players this summer and spent a huge amount of money on some players. For example, they spent 70 million euros on Kai Havertz he was definitely the worst transfer they had.

I keep wondering why everyone feels Kai Harvertz in a total flop, because he is not scoring goals??? But when you look at it objectively, even with his lack of goals this season for Arsenal his contribution is impressive he might not be scoring goals but his marking and contribution in the midfield and attacking plays is important too and that is the value Mikel Arteta see in him.

Haha Newcastle are too confident they don't miss any opportunities convert every opportunity into a goal   as you said they need to do this to increase their confidence in the Champions League. Slowly Newcastle are getting back on track, this is their 2nd win after a bad result a few weeks ago they have to do something like this in the next match to regain their place in the top 4 they are already 5-6 points behind the top 4 meaning it takes 6 more wins without a loss or draw.

Arsenal vs Tottenham match results: Score 2-2

Arsenal and Tottenham had to settle for sharing the points after drawing 2-2 in the 2023/2024 Premier League match week 6 which was held at the Emirates Stadium.
