Moreover there's more time in the premier league so it will be too hasty to judge from this moment. Manchester City didn't want to lose against Aston Villa in the previous match, but it happened. In that match, Manchester City were unable to control the game and I really have to admit that Aston Villa played very well. Aston Villa managed to get Manchester City and its players to play defensively, in fact I saw Manchester City seem to be physically outmatched by Unai Emery's men throughout the match.

I don't think this is an embarrassing defeat for Manchester City, but to expect Manchester City to always win against any team is also unreasonable. I agree Manchester City have a chance to put things right before entering the second half of the season. They must be prepared for big consequences this season amidst demands to defend the title, but that is clearly difficult to do, especially because Arsenal, Liverpool and other teams also want it.

No team can maintain a top performance for a long time frame. Manchester City is no exception from this rule.
Erling Haaland had the opportunity to score a goal and equalize, but he missed it. Aston Vila plays really good and Unai Emery is a very experienced manager. This win can definitely help Chelsea because after beating Chelsea there is now less pressure on the team. However, we should not forget Chelsea was not in the good form at all but still winning this match was good for Ten Hag and his players. Even Pochettino the coach of Chelsea said Manchester United performed better than this team and he confessed about the performance of this team in the match they had.

Nope, that’s not quite possible neither is it even imaginable. I mean, how could someone have the thought, even in the prevailing circumstance of Manchester City not having the sort of quality we know they do have in there games, aren’t winning 3 points and actually losing some games that ordinarily, we might have expected them to win. The idea that, they might not get to qualify for the UCL through the EPL doesn’t seem realistic. Even in Manchester City’s worst days, they are are capable of some surprises and they would come up with it as at when due.
Manchester City remains a viable title contenders and have no question about there UCL qualifier.

The Premier League is a competitive and every club is fighting for the title. I think I'm one of the people that have confidence in Manchester City even though I want Arsenal to win the League but whereever there is truth, we need to say the truth and stand with the truth all the time, Manchester City were over confidence in that match against Aston villa but that confidence back fired because what was meant to be easy was something they were trying difficult to score, they dominated that match but the chances were counter and void by Aston Villa defenders and even when Haaland has ball to the job, they dealt with him but that is a lesson learned, they should improve next time against next match.

The large number of injured players and also suspensions are the reasons why Manchester City was unable to play at its best against Aston Villa. They don't have De Bruyne, Rodri, Grealish, Doku and can't even play Nathan Ake in defense. Pep Guardiola was forced to play Manuel Akanji and John Stones as central midfielders because they didn't have good midfielders to play there, that was the problem.

The win tonight will increase their chances of getting out of the relegation zone while they also need more wins to increase their points and to move out from the relegation zone completely.

No one expected Manchester united to win the match, everyone predicted that Chelsea was going to win because of the fantastic performance they have demonstrated against stronger opponents. Manchester united have been struggling with form but when they faced Chelsea they seemed more serious and they performed better than Chelsea in the match, they deserved to win because Chelsea was so terrible and made so many mistakes as if they haven't trained in a month.

I now believe Chelsea is a team that only perform better against tough opponents but can not get their selves to beat average teams. Manchester united is a struggling team maybe that was why they were able to beat Chelsea. Chelsea have a long way to go and and if they keep playing like this they could get relegated.

 The match result wasn’t what most fans expected especially judging from the way both teams have played of recent times. Chelsea was thought to have the upper hands but seems in this match they lost control of the midfield battle and Manchester United capitalized on that and that earned them 3 points. The win was well deserved and credits must be given to Ten Haag who knew he had to sit out Rashford because he was obviously one of their many problems and also the sub of Lindelof who was not in the match.

 Now this Chelsea has shown the fans that they still have a long way to go as they can defeat some opponents and have bad days then get defeated and that means more work for Pochettino and his boys, hopefully they’ll bounce back when they face Everton next else, I think the fans will be coming for Pochettino soon.

Everton destroyed Newcastle today 3:0 and looked so easy in the second half. Was dissapointed at Newcastle they are just playing hot and cold and are bad at away games. Was expecting a close match but Everton made a big win and now got their hopes up for survival this season.

Everton are seriously doing well this season, when I saw the point deduction I was a little bit sad for them but truly I will say even if it would come in future then right now is the best time, they this season are in fine form and this season is still early so they can easily fight it out which I trust they will do, we can give Sean Dyche his credit for this rebuild.

As for Newcastle United I wouldn’t blame them for losing because they have actually done well in their last matches even with the injury crisis surrounding them. They have been playing same team for like five matches now without making much substitutions, even a well balanced club like Manchester City would face same problem with this thin squad. A full Newcastle squad would have beaten Everton

Man City defeat yesterday really disappointed the fans and bettors, whereas I saw that there were no problems in this team, everything looked fine, but for some reason the performance dropped drastically, 3 losses, 3 draws in all matches this season. the point difference is very far from the top of the standings dominated by Arsenal at the moment and it is possible that history will be broken by Arsenal this season to get the EPL title because from 15 matches Man City already has a very large point difference with Arsenal and if this is only because Guardiola is focused in the UCL it makes little sense because last season Man City was able to perform very well defending the title in several competitions.

If in the next match and so on, Man City returns to its best performance, I think it will probably be like last season, but if it still has a bad performance, it will be difficult to reach the top of the standings.

Because of Manchester City's performance of not being able to win matches as they ought to, doesn't mean they are not going to bounce back. What they are doing now, they did it last season by losing to small clubs nobody expected and in the end, they found their form and later won the PL trophy.

It would be a terrible thing for any club coach to think of writing Manchester City off from not lifting the 2023/2024 Premier League title. Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, and other coaches can't try it because Pep Guardiola can leave them surprised by the performance and tactics his players will come up with by next year to the end of the season.

Even though I have a little doubt about Manchester City lifting the PL title this season, that doesn't stop me from in believing the capability of Pep Guardiola of what he can do. He can change the whole atmosphere of his team to become formidable again. He can fix his team even though their attention is divided to focus on their Champions League matches more or Premier League

I am surprised with the result because I did not expect Everton to win the match even at Goodison park since they have been losing against Newcastle United in that same stadium; but it seems like the points deduction on Everton side triggered their anger and they start performing better because since they deducted their points, they only lose to Manchester United, they were able to take some points in some of the match’s and they won some a which is very good.

Newcastle United this season have won Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and PSG; they are always good against big teams, but when it comes to playing average teams like them, they flop and lose matches like a small team, this is why they are still out of the top four in the Premier League table
