Yeah I recall that last match perfectly, and it was Zouma's first goal for the club after the move that sealed the deal for Hammers. It's not an easy match and should be a good one. West Ham have a dip in their performance ever since their striker Antonio went out of form and Liverpool have been performing great and are on right track in the title race. Its tough to say who will come out as a winner but given the current situation and performance, Liverpool are much likely to win this one but I also won't West Ham out as they have the capability to surprise big teams just like they did in their last meeting.

I'm a Man United fan but I have a bit of a doubt Man United can win. The quality of Man City and United's game is very much different. That makes a lot of people probably will choose Man City to win. Firstly, West Ham are outside of the top 4, and needs more points to slide back into the top 4. Then, Liverpool will be hosting here, and will struggle to win, in order to reduce their points gap behind City. But West Ham defence should be capable of resisting them. Also, i don't think Liverpool will take the game very serious, since they have a tough match ahead of them in the Champion League on the 8th of this month, which happens to fall on Tuesday next week.

Seriously tho.  It could be a tight match.  I got this at draw HT, Man City win at FT at 3.95.  I feel like United will be able to defend City's barrage for the first 45 mins but then gets cracked at the 60th minute or so.  I agree with igehhh's prediction of 2 - 0 for City in the other EPL thread.  It's going to be City win without conceding imho.

West Ham's goal is to qualify for the Champions League from the top four of the table. And, Liverpool's goal is to win the title. Romelu Lukaku is a really solid striker normally but I don't like his performance this season even a bit. Maybe his mind is still not fully here with Chelsea. Because he isn't an incapable striker when it comes to scoring. We all saw him scoring so many goals at Inter last season. When he is happy with his game and team, he performs very good. He might be a little unhappy now maybe and that could be why he hasn't scored many goals. I really wonder if he will go back to Inter this summer.

Lukaku is a very talented football player, but I think he plays alone. If there were more people in the team who would adapt to his name, he could score more goals, but it seems that the style of play and the game of the team members are not very suitable. Switching between leagues and maintaining the same standard is not that easy, mostly switching from other leagues to the english league it will take some time to adapt. Liverpool is the favorite in this match but this season I was impressed with the performance of West Ham. They also have a few good results against better teams this season. I know that Liverpool is a much stronger and better team but do not underestimate West Ham because they also bring the surprise factor whenever they play against big teams. This is not going to happen. Manchester United fans despise Manchester City more than they despise Liverpool. Manchester City has been ahead of them in terms of trophies for the past ten years and they are painting Manchester blue, which Manchester United fans are trying to avoid. The new generation of Manchester United fans would rather see Liverpool lift the trophy than Manchester City. It's also a crucial game for them because a loss or draw will knock them out of the Top4

It is going to be a very tough one for West ham United. At the moment Liverpool are in second place in the Premier League standings and are giving Manchester City a run for their money in the title race this season. They with what to afford any mistake at the moment. They are a resurgent force in the Premier League at the moment and they will always want play in a way to sustain their momentum to win the league title. Liverpool are the better team, however, and should be able to win. At the same time, if West ham United want to capitalize on a potential slip-up, knowing that Manchester United are not guaranteed anything against Manchester City, they really need to put on more effort. Because I can’t guarantee them a point at Anfield.
